Located in Carnelian Bay, this attractive condo for $192 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. **PETS PROHIBITED** Nestled in the pines, this comfortable southern facing unit is done has been recently updated and has nice forest/lake views. The open living area on the mid level includes a high end Ethan Allen sectional sofa, new Samsung smart HDTV /DVD/VHS and full updated bath, remodeled kitchen, and dining room for 6. Downstairs level includes two bedrooms and a full bath. The first room off the entrance has 2 twin beds. The Master is at the end of the hall with King bed and beautiful forest/lakeview balcony, full bath attached. Stacked washer/dryer. Loft upstairs with Queen bed and TV/DVD. Gas BBQ on the deck, and homeowner association amenities include pool, sauna, hot tub, basketball and tennis courts, pool table and arcade games in the recreation building. Great summer and winter location! Pool and spas open all summer. Spas open summer and winter daily but limited to Saturdays only in spring & fall. | High Speed Internet is provided with this property, but is not guaranteed. Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 - Downstairs Master, King Bed Bedroom 2 - Downstairs, 2 Twin Beds Bedroom 3 - Upstairs loft, Queen Bed Must be at least 25 years old to rent. Our properties do not have air conditioning. BBQs are not provided during winter months (November to Memorial Day) CHAINS OR SNOW TIRES ARE OFTEN REQUIRED IN WINTER. PLEASE BE SURE TO READ OUR WINTER DISCLOSURE, PROVIDED WITH A RENTAL CONTRACT ONCE A RESERVATION IS MADE. It was a nicely maintained condo we visit Tahoe every year. It was an overflow area for our family and served its purpose for the younger adults in our group. We got a bit lost getting there using Google had us turned around. The property was spacious. My older mom couldn’t stay because the hill and steps were too steep. Over all the property was nice.

Love coming to Tahoe with my family every year (3 young children). Location is great - right by mini-golf and Garwoods. Place is cozy and our unit had lake view from the balcony. Couple minor snags (BBQ wouldn't light, leaky sink) were quickly handled by the property managers.

Overall not very impressed by this property or the complex. It was reasonably priced but I won’t be staying at this complex again.
Property: If I owned the place then the property manager would be fired instantly. There were bent frying pans, all the knifes are dull, no dishwasher detergent provided, etc. Most of the extra storage closets are locked so storing skis & boards is difficult without being crammed. The place overall feels very dated, the pictures make it look much nicer. Rooms were a decent size & beds are were comfortable but that’s about the extent of the good things. If you want to hot tub after, you’ll need to drive.
Complex: This is the only place I’ve ever stayed at that doesn’t allow drinks (including water, which is a safety hazard IMO) into the hot tub area. I understand glass but having a beer in the tub after skiing all day is a staple for most people. There’s literally a guy checking as you enter the lobby to make sure you don’t have any drinks, and won’t even allow you to bring water to the locker room. He also closed down earlier than advertised so make sure to get there early. It felt more like being at church summer camp than on a ski vacation. Location is decent though, short drive to the lake & about 30 mins to the slopes.
Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, there’s much better options in the area.

We have stayed in several different townhouses in Carnelian Woods over the years and been happy with most of them. This was our first stay in unit #128 and agree that is has been the best overall. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The location and view was spectacular (especially with the unexpected early snowfall). We will definitely be requesting Carnelian Woods #128 the next trip we plan to North Lake Tahoe.

The property was recently remodeled and the description in the listing is very accurate. The place was well kept and clean and was in an excellent location. The Old Post Office (breakfast place) was a few block away as was Waterman's Landing on the lake itself where we rented Kayaks and Canoes. There is also a restaurant on the lake named GarWoods about 4 blocks away with great food, drinks and and awesome deck with amazing views. It was a great stay and great part of our vacation!

It was great. I would suggest adding 2 more skillets. Also the sliding door to the bathroom in the lower master bedroom is difficult to use.

Needs some attention
The property was good but needs some attention. The carpet is dirty and smells like it needs professional cleaning and /or replacing. We noticed this the minute we entered. The screen door off the master is not usable. I recommend that you stock coffee filters for the coffee maker. All else was fine.

Overall we had a very nice stay. Very pretty view from the living area, updated and well-equipped kitchen. It is an older condo, but kept up nicely. If I'm going to be picky, new flooring would really make this a really fresh, nice place.
Once caveat that should be mentioned is the decline to access the unit. We did not have any problems with it, but anyone with mobility issues would have an extremely difficult time getting in/out of the condo.... especially hauling suitcases, etc up and down the hill.
The location is nice and there is a pretty hiking trail/par course quite near the unit. The pool is pretty and a very nice size.
Also quite fun to have the mini golf course at the bottom of the hill, along with a nice beach across the street.
Overall, a good location and a nice condo.

My family and I have stayed at this property 3-4 times for our winter trips and it has always worked out great for us. Plenty of room for a family of 4-5. Nice balcony to watch the sun come up with your coffee and enjoy the view of the lake. Fireplace is nice and warm and the seating area is comfortable. Another nice amenity is that they plow the parking area and street for you within the community. One less thing to worry about. Great place to stay for an easy, simple trip to Tahoe. We will be back again!

The pocket door in the master was broken. Not good when you are sharing the bathroom. The kitchen was not fully equipped. Broken microwave. The carpet needed cleaning. The screen door in the master kept coming off the track. Really needs updating. The pool and club house were the saving grace on this property.

This property is perfect for your stay. We enjoyed staying at this property. It was very clean , and had everything we needed for our stay. Lager rooms, great kitchen and BBQ , and central to Kings beach. Definitely recommend, and we will be coming back.

Went for a long weekend to attend a wedding nearby. The condo was clean, and the kitchen and bathrooms looked like they were updated recently. The decor was a bit 70's chic but we didn't mind. Easy to use VRBO for the first time, it was a pleasant stay.
