Situated in Lake Winnebago, this attractive cottage for $163 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Come enjoy lake living at The Winne Cottage! Located on a cul-de-sac, you'll find the location for a quintessential lake get away. Far enough away for peace and quiet, yet close enough to enjoy shopping and meals out! Things are clean, comfortable and ready for your visit! This two story home with central air conditioning, has a fully stocked kitchen with quartz countertops, living room with flat screen TV, DVD player, cable and Wi-fi, dining room with a large table, one bedroom with a king bed and full bath on the main floor and three more bedrooms with a full bath upstairs. In the basement you'll find a ping pong table, for a little friendly competition, and another flat screen TV with Roku stick. You can hang out on the deck and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Winnebago or spend time on the dock fishing and swimming. There is excellent swimming right off the pier! We have a two person kayak, two kids kayaks and the bean bag game for additional fun! In the evening, you can grill out on the charcoal grill and afterward make s'mores on our fire pit out by the water! We have bag chairs to pull around the fire, so everyone can have a seat! Come stay in the winter for excellent ice fishing, ice skating and hanging out indoors by our wood burning fireplace! There are things to do all year long! Our home is available to rent during the EAA AirVenture Festival! We are two miles from the EAA Seaplane Base and seven miles from Wittman Regional Airport. You'll enjoy days at the festivals and evenings relaxing by the lake. There is plenty of room! We are a fifteen minute drive to downtown Oshkosh and about a twenty minute down to downtown Fond du Lac. Come stay with us!

The house was perfect for our family! We came out for Christmas and this was the perfect place to land with our kids. Quiet neighborhood, super cute lake house, great views! The house was very well appointed and we had a great visit.

We stayed at the cottage on Lake Winnebago for a week with family over Thanksgiving. The house was very clean, and the views were beautiful. The layout of the house was perfect for us, and everyone was able to have their own space. The neighborhood was quiet with little to no traffic. We would stay there again in a heartbeat next time we visit the area.

Wished there were a few minor things. It would be nice to have Saran Wrap and tin foil. The batteries in TV switcher needs changing. Also some TV instructions. Couldn’t pair my phone TV due to existing Netflix account but couldn’t find a remote that would take us to Netflix???! Beautiful sunrises.

Charming property on Lake Winnebago. Clean and well organized. Great kitchen for cooking and enjoyed the charcoal barbecue grill. Comfortable beds. Pier available but not ideal for swimming or fishing from shore.

The property is as advertised. Plenty of things to keep the four kids busy. Place was well equipped from the kitchen to the garage. We enjoyed our stay and the owner was responsive.

Lovely property on Lake Winnebago in a beautiful neighborhood. Clean home with large, well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for all members of a group to enjoy one endeavor or break into smaller groups for diversity.
Only concern was lack of handrails. Our group is all seniors & safety is very important.

The Property was exactly what we had hoped for after long days working EAA; Being able to sit by the water listening to the waves around the camp fire at night and watching the sun rise every morning sets your mind right for the day ahead.
Rooms were well appointed with plenty of space for everyone to relax of share a meal. in the kitchen, all the basics we needed were there, close to everything you might need and a gas station only a few miles away with a great pizza place next door.
All in all, if you're looking for down time or just grabbing a few kayaks and enjoying the lake, this is the place to be.
Neighbors were very nice and gave you the space you needed to maintain your privacy. The Charcoal grill was used almost every night, it was perfect. The water pressure was good enough for our use.
If you're going to AirVenture in 2024, better book early...

Perfect little getaway for the family. In such a cute neighborhood. 10/10 would recommend and will be returning. Communication with property manage was easy. Loved this spot.

Great cottage on the lake. Super clean and a kitchen with everything needed to prepare our meals. Charcoal grill was nice to be able to BBQ for the fam. Plenty of space for our adult children and their spouses. We enjoyed using the toys and yard games with our granddaughter. We were unable to use the dock due to the lake being so low and the dock so high. But still a great location. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely book again if in the area.

Kristens property is beautiful. Right on the shore of Lake Winnebago. Close to activities for the family and resturants and groceries. Make sure you stop at Cooligans down the road for the best thin crust pizza's.
Her place was spotless and kiddo friendly. My grandkids loved the lake and fire pit for smores.
The only con was the frying pans that were there. I went to the store and bought a set of new ones to keep there for the other families that like to cook. Also while they do have salt and pepper there, bring your own seasonings for your own tastes. That was pretty minor for the stay that we all enjoyed.
Over all we had fun and the beds and living spaces were cozy and comfortable. Would be an awesome winter stay as well. Thank you Kristen!

We stayed for a week for a fishing tournament. The house was gorgeous and very well stocked. Had a little delay with getting into the house when we arrived, but it was resolved quickly.

The lake view was amazing from the merganzers and eagles to the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Very beautiful home. Fully stocked kitchen for everything you need to relaxing in front of the TV, gathering for meals and playing games. Couldn't have asked for more.

My husband and I stayed here for a 4 day weekend getaway/staycation away from home. It was perfect! it happen to be a very cold weekend, so we were able to enjoy the fireplace, and the wonderful views of the lake. the main area of this house has a beautiful view right out onto the lake, so we enjoyed playing games, watching movies and enjoying dinner, all while looking out onto a gorgeous view.
This would be a great place for a family or group of 4-6+ people, the rooms were all clean and well appointed, plus there a lot of little extras in case you forget anything. I would love to come back and visit and bring along another couple or two so we can enjoy the lake too.
Although we spent much of our time staying in, the house is located right in between Fond Du Lac and Oshkosh, and a short run to a grocery store or gas station either way!

This home was wonderful - cozy, welcoming, yet plenty of room and well provisioned. We would love to come back in the future. On a quiet street with friendly neighbors! And we loved the wood burning fireplace!

What a fantastic experience! The house was inviting and lovely. The bank of windows across the east side of the house allows for constant interaction with beautiful Lake Winnebago and its ever changing personality. The kitchen is well equipped. Our week was jammed packed with activities. My husband and I had one kid flying in from Florida and one kid flying in from California for a fishing trip and much needed family time. If you enjoy fishing we used Dennis Butz as our guide and fished the bay of Green Bay and the Fox River. We caught northern pike, Muskie, walleye, sheepshead and perch. He was one of the best guides we’ve ever had. He was not only knowledgeable about the fish but also the area. He taught us new techniques specifically for the species of the area. And he does trips right on Lake Winnebago too! I’m adding the info for those who love to fish because I had a very hard time finding a guide and that was the reason we rented the house. It was the perfect house, the perfect guide and the perfect vacation. The perfect topping to the perfect house?

Great getaway
My family had a very nice time at this property. The house was perfect size for our two families of 4. The house was so well equipped with things to do; fishing poles, kayaks, fire pit, ping pong, etc. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for an easy getaway.

This is the 2nd time my family stayed at Winne Cottage for a week in July and we loved it so much we booked again for next July!

Great family friendly stay
The only disappointment was not being able to leave boat at pier overnight. (Even during the day the pier itself is way to high and to use without doing some extra work ourselves to protect the boat.). Loved all the games and toys for the kids. Communicating was not always prompt and there are two times listed for check in….

Lakefront Gem!
We found this property exactly as described. It was cozy yet plenty of room for when we were all together. Loved they have kept some of the old charm while updating the kitchen and bathrooms. The only real issue we had is that we had a couple family members who had issues with stairs and there are quite a few if you don't get the bedroom on the main floor. The bed linens were excellent and beds very comfortable. Plenty of inside and outside games plus water toys to keep everyone occupied no matter the weather situation. We would definately stay again!!
