Beautiful old building, close to downtown, friendly caring owners - a gem of a location in Hamilton

The owners were really friendly which added to the good location just up the mountain a bit from downtown. The room was well appointed and quiet. The mattress was very comfortable and the curtains blacked out the room very well.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

The room was comfortable and had a warm, inviting appearance. The house was quiet, parking was great and staff welcoming and responsive. Most importantly, the location was close to our family in Hamilton.

Very good

I liked that the room and the bathroom, although shared, was clean. The dossier with the information of the house and the town was a nice surprise. Kind and accommodating owner.

I would like to have the option of a smaller pillow, as I sleep face down. Furthermore, even though there are complimentary soft drinks in the room, there could also be a bottle of water, for the coffee maker.

Not Bad But Host Could Have Done Better

Location was good. Bed was comfortable.

I felt micromanaged while I was staying on the property. Owner had an issue with me leaving the lights on in the laundry area while I was using the washer and dryer for an hour and a half. I was asked to make sure I keep turning them off each time. I was then messaged after I checked out only asking if I left through the front door, absolutely no mention about hoping that I enjoyed my stay, which is very unusual.. I was only at the property for less than 12 hours but didn't feel welcome. You are also are sharing the space, more specifically the bathroom and laundry area, with long-term tenants who live on the same floor.

Great staff, amazing location There was an issue caused by the people who stayed in the room before i arrived and the staff was extremely helpful and nice, did everything to fix it.

THe house was easy to find. The room was immaculate and incredibly inviting.....so many amenities.!! The bed was super comfortable and loved being able to sit , have a glass of wine and look out at Hamilton. Our host met us outside and super friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

The only small problem was late ( ie 1 am) at night I ( the wife) desperately had to use the washroom and it was occupied for a long length of time ...making me even more desperate.!

Charming and exactly what I needed

Owners were super accommodating, and it was so close to the hospital. Syper cute space with all the old charms. Especially loved all the extras !!!

A very comfy stay at a good price.

We liked the location and the old world charm. The host went out of her way to fulfill a need for us and for that ,we are very thankful. We will return without hesitation.

A shared bathroom could be difficult if all rooms were occupied.

We had a lovely stay! It was a great historic vibe while also being extremely clean and well-kept. The hosts were thoughtful, there was free parking, and it is in the heart of Hamilton. Would recommend to anyone!

Really great option to be close to downtown and amenities, but be prepared for traffic noise

The room was filled with history, and it was SUPER clean.

The traffic was louder than I’d like, but they did tell me it was on a busy road.
