About this house rental
Nestled in Tanque Verde, this lovely house for $121 per night is a great option for your next trip. The two cats in the yard might be bobcats strolling by! (It's a reference to the Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young song for those of you who are too young to know!) This 900 SF casita was custom built in 2010 on a one-acre lot. The casita is attached to the main house by an open courtyard, a high tower foyer, and covered patio. Come enjoy this beautiful one bedroom guest home located in the scenic Northeast Tucson area. You will have your own direct access to the casita, private patio and your own heating and A/C controls. The spacious living room/kitchen has exposed beams, granite counter tops, an upgraded 55” 4K television and SW design details evident in the numerous arches and fully tiled floors. A full dresser and closet complete the bedroom. Bathroom has custom tiled shower, and full-size washer and dryer. 9' ceilings, and mountain views throughout the property. The beautiful courtyard and your own covered patio with a Weber gas grill lie just off the living room door. Privacy walls surround our entire 1-acre lot. Five outside sitting areas allow you to fully enjoy the beautiful, sunny, Tucson weather, cozy up around the fire pit, or sit peacefully under the mesquite trees overlooking a meadow. It's a short 1.3 mile walk or drive to parking for the Bear Canyon entrance to Sabino Park where you have access to iconic hikes such as Seven Falls, Blackett's Ridge, Phoneline trail and many others. We are 4 miles from the base of Mt. Lemmon with stunning views (Windy Point), numerous hiking trails and restaurants. You can bicycle right out the door or ride 4 miles to the Tucson bike loop path which offers 100+ miles of paved pathways. The casita is in a quiet, peaceful setting and yet close to several great restaurants (Tucson is a foodie's delight), grocery stores, and 25 minutes from downtown. Our casita is well-maintained (Dave is a retired contractor and keeps up with repairs), clean, freshly painted, with updated appliances, dinnerware, cookware and linens. We know what we would like when we stay at a vacation rental, so try to provide the best experience for our guests. There is much to do and explore in Tucson and our casita will be a tranquil setting for your home base.

I have stayed here many times and for these 2 weeks I planned my dates around their availability. That should tell you more than anything else I would comment on. Attractive, large yard, well stocked, etc, etc, etc.

Colorful sunsets and views of the Santa Catalina mountains. The landscaping in the back yard is a beautiful mix of patios, desert plantings and natural areas for the birds. This spacious casita is peaceful, private, well-equipped and immaculate. A gem! We were happy to be back.

The Casita was beautiful, clean, private, and quiet, which were all the things I wanted for my long writing weekend. The bed was comfortable. The hosts were quick to respond & friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed walking around the property a bit.l. I could see myself coming back here again for my next working get away. I’d give this 10 stars if I could!

Lovely place in a desert setting but easy to get to shopping & hiking. Garden is just right, so many places to sit and a different outlook from all angles. Would stay here everytime we go to Tucson. Please do not change anything it is perfect.

This was an exceptional property. It was comfortable, well-appointed, and welcoming. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The outdoor area was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the patio every morning and watching the birds. 10/10. Would recommend this property to anyone staying in the Tanque Verde area of Tucson.

This beautiful house and it's location exceeded our expectations! It is well stocked, has a comfortable bed, and has lovely outdoor living space. It is close to lots of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and anything else you might want, and yet, you feel "out back" with quietness and privacy. It's also close to Mount Lemmon, Saguaro NP East, and other tourist attractions.

We can not get over what an amazing place this was! It truly was an oasis in the desert. Comple with arresting gardens and more bird varieties than we could keep up with. Even though this property is connected to the owners dwelling, you wouldn't know it. We had access to the entire outside areas and had a lovely visit with Ro and Dave. A billion percent we would recommend this haven.

We couldn't resist coming back to the most beautiful Casita in Tucson when we saw there had been a cancellation and a week available that just fitted with our plans to return to the wonderful Sonoran Desert. Hosts Ro and Dave are so friendly and the home is very well-equipped. Great location in a quiet neighbourhood of north-west Tucson, very well-situated for access to Sabino Canyon, the Saguaro National Park (west) and so many other places of interest. We loved this place! This is truly a Premier rental. The casita is located close to a wide variety of hiking trails, grocery stores, restaurants, and Tucson attractions. Our hosts, Dave and Ro, greeted us when we arrived and explained everything we needed to know for an enjoyable stay. Their casita has a fully equipped kitchen if you plan to prepare your meals. The backyard view from the patio is perfect for birdwatching and enjoying an evening sunset. Thanks for a relaxing and pleasurable stay!

Beautiful home in a very good neighborhood, super clean, perfectly maintained and equipped with everything you could reasonably want. Backyard was a private oasis - nicely landscaped (didn't use pool or hot tub so can't comment). Kitchen clearly equipped by somebody who likes to cook! Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!

This casita was truly a desert jewel box. Beautifully furnished and equipped, great binder of information from owners, beautiful yard with lots of wildlife...we definitely want to make a return trip! We met the owners; very gracious people! If you like to wake up to hooting owls and coyotes yipping (as we did!) , this is a great place to be!

This house was so nice: very clean and no "chemical" smells we've experienced elsewhere. Lovely desert yard to walk or sit in. Very quiet. Comfy furniture. Had everything we needed, even a pencil sharpener! And sharp kitchen knives! Love that the neighborhood didn't have streetlights, which added to the peacefulness and ability to enjoy the night sky. Great views of mountains.

This was by far the best experience we’ve ever had staying at a VRBO. Beautiful property in the foothills of Tucson. Wonderful 1 bedroom casita attached to the main house, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you might need. Welcoming owners willing to share the lovely grounds including hot tub. Truly a fine house
We did not see the 2 cats in the yard (sadly), but life at Meadow View Estates is not hard, everything was easy cause of the hosts of this fine house.
