About this condo rental
Nestled in Carolina Beach, this lovely condo for $199 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Updated with paint, carpet, TVs, hardware, HVAC, and more! Welcome to “Carolina Winds”, our second home that we selectively rent to guests, referrals and friends. This second row Condo features two bedrooms, two baths, and both ocean and canal views. Amenities include private pool, cable television, WiFi, 46” LED flat screen, flat screens TVs in both bedrooms, full-sized, front-load washer and dryer, granite counter tops and an over sized deck (14x20) that is perfect for outdoor dining and watching the fireworks. A queen bed in each room and a queen sleeper/sofa will accommodate up to 6 adults and pack-n-play will take care of the infant or toddler. The condo is nicely decorated with fun beach colors and is a fantastic place for a family vacation, romantic getaway or girl’s weekend. This Condo has multiple beach access points directly across the street. No need to load-down the minivan; the storage area includes boogie boards, beach chairs, an umbrella and buckets for building sand castles! We are a 5 minute walk to the Boardwalk which features the infamous Britt’s Donuts, seasonal rides, shops and restaurants, fireworks on Thursday nights and other major holidays and Sunday night movies at the lake. Just a few blocks from the condo is the Marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, and boat rentals. The rooms were clean. The view was great! We enjoyed the patio. The pillows could be updated, and maybe the mattresses, too, but we were comfortable enough.
I liked that we did have good parking, and the condo was secure. It was nice to have the kitchen. We used the coffee maker a bunch in the mornings! The beach access was very close! That was a huge plus!
I was proud of us for making several trips up and down the steps! We are a not so young group.... between the three of us our total age is 208 years old! We crushed that step challenge!!
We enjoyed our time in Carolina Beach!

The property in general was not bad. We did have to buy a filter for the ac because everyone started to be sick with allergies after the first day. My husband decided to check the filter and it was completely clogged. The place really needs a thorough cleaning for example the silverware organizer has dried food in it . The refrigerator was very clean . The pool was well maintained.

Great location, house was not very clean though. Black mold on the shower curtains, food caked on the dish washer, sand on the floors, dust literally everywhere. Informed the host, he did not respond.

I would definitely stay at this property again. Everything was as described. The owners were very responsive with any questions. Bedding & linens were provided wrapped. Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish and laundry detergent were provided.
The storage room had beach chairs, umbrella, buckets, pool noodles, and boogie boards.
The pool looked very nice, but we didn't go into the pool.
The view of the ocean from the deck was great and we could feel the breeze from the ocean. The living room and one of the bedrooms open to the deck.
The boardwalk is a short walk up the beach or street. There's food and ice cream within walking distance. Beach access is a very short walk across the street.
It is on the third floor, which could be hard for some people - but it was worth it to me for the view.
It would be nice if the first bedroom had a full view or big mirror. Otherwise, no complaints. Carolina Beach is a very nice beach and this is a nice, clean, and convenient place to stay.

Very nice place for a family getaway. Easy beach access, pool is well kept and walking distance to the boardwalk fun. Owners are very easy to communicate with.

Parking is tight, but doable. I wouldn't recommend any larger trucks or SUVs. Very short walk to the beach. Consider the stairs if that is a problem for your group.
Overall it was a great place to stay for our family of 5.

It was a great little place to stay for a girls trip. There was even an air fryer which isn't in most places I stay. I'm not in great shape but the walk to boardwalk was still and easy and short walk. it was close to so much stuff I didn't have to take my car out much during our trip. The table on the deck was great to have meals with the sounds of the ocean in the background

The place was outstandingly clean and very well decorated. Owner was super easy to get in touch with and answered the 2 phone calls with my questions. I would recommend packing light it several stairs but with the massive balcony it worth every step. Thanks so much for opening your place to my family.

This is a perfectly fine place to stay. Nothing fancy, but comfortable enough. This unit is 3rd floor but because of the parking, there is a whole flight of stairs to get to the first floor, so there are more than you'd imagine. Wasn't a big deal, but made moving in and out a good work-out. Parking was a little confusing for us just because some cars took up a whole lane. No hotels at this end of the beach so it's less crowded on the beach than the area closer to the boardwalk and it was very quiet when we were there (shoulder season). The views are lovely but obstructed.

Great location. Enjoyed our stay. Had what we needed. Sliding doors need to be fixed as well as a clearer description of how to find the unit. But overall my daughter and I had a wonderful time. The deck is perfect for sun bathing when the beach is windy!

This condo was absolutely perfect for our weekend trip! The views from both balconies were stunning. Super spacious & clean condo. Close proximity to this great restaurant called Stoked & public beach access. The host was so great to us, it almost felt like a second home. We will definitely be coming back to this place!

I stayed here with my children and daughter in law for quick beach trip. The condo was clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had just what we needed. The front deck allowed a little bit of a view of the water, and we could hear the waves from the deck. Beach access is super close, I would stay here again.

Condo was as described. You could see the ocean and the inland waterway! Plenty of room, privacy and great front porch!! This location is within a mile of key places, so easily walkable. Thank you for great directions & a super condo! (My only note is the 7 flights of stairs about killed me hauling things up/down when moving in and out. I will pack lighter next time, but the stairs are not for the weak of heart or body.)

Pictures don't do this location justice. The location is awesome and a three minute walk to the beach. The host was quick to respond and very helpful. It was clean and perfect for our family of three. We look forward to staying there again in the future!

We appreciated: The location with wonderful views of ocean and waterway. The large comfortable deck. The clean, comfortable, and attractive apartment. The 11 o'clock check out time. Parking is convenient and the place easy to get in and out of. 42 steps up and down was a great cardio workout! We are in our 70s and were fine with it, but I mention this in case of bad knees/hips, etc. for others to be aware of. Also the place is free of fragrances except for the dish and hand soap and a very minor odor in the bedding. We had a great time and would rent this place again either for the two of us or to include family or friends. Thank you!

The place was very nice. When the kitchen drawers were open noticed they could use a quick cleaning. There was no fabric softener, two bulbs missing and the dish sponge was gross. It states on the contract that all towels must be washed and dried by guests. For the price paid they should do that to be sure it’s done. Stove is the electric ring type which was a little crazy but got use to it. The steps were crazy bringing up all the food and luggage but we made it. Loved the deck!! Screen doors didn’t work, they kept falling off the track. Please ask for the pool code since it is not on the paper. Nice location and plenty of seating for guests. Host was great!

This place is very nice and spacious. As it was just me and one other person it was a lot more room then we needed. Great place for families or two couples. Porch is awesome we loved sitting out there and also a great spot for a telescope at night as we were lucky enough for a full moon. Will definitely be back!

You won’t regret booking this place. The view from the deck is great we spent most of our time out there. It’s very spacious inside and had everything we needed. Parking was never an issue and the pool was clean. The owner responded to the questions we had quickly which is always great. We will be booking here again!!

You must walk up THREE flights of stairs so try to consolidate your packing. You must wash, dry, and fold bath towels so bring a few to use on the last day to avoid stress as you try to check out. Also want to bring extra roll of paper towels. Otherwise well stocked. Hand soap, dish soap, laundry and dishwasher soap, but no bath soap/shampoo. Loved the huge deck w/ocean views despite being across street from ocean (and small balcony in back with canal views). Lamps on both sides of both beds was a nice touch. Walk in closets and lots of drawers. Easy access to the beach - across the street and just down one house. Quick drive to main Carolina Beach. Very cute inside and lots of seating for eating and lounging plus 3 tv's and some board games. Good WiFi. Very communicative host but be sure to read all instructions! Nice place.

We had a great time with this two bedroom two bath condo! I think we spent more time on the front deck with our ocean view than inside even though it was hot. Love the proximity to the ocean, easy walk to the boardwalk. Be prepared, this isn’t just Thirdstory it’s four stories of steps. A little rough For loading and unloading.
Overall - easy booking, loved How to access to dishwasher and washer dryer.
