This home is steps from the beach and the bay! It’s beautiful and close to everything! Only thing to note is that the adult capacity is really 6, the pull out couches are definitely more for children and the “twin beds” are fold up mattresses that go on the floor! Only 3 actual beds. Also the kitchen sink faucet needs replaced as it hangs instead of retracting like it should. We had a wonderful stay, beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs are all there. Location is great and the kitchen has most of what you need for meals.

The top floor overlooks the lagoon and it was so beautiful to watch the sun rise and set. Kitchen was stocked with supplies when our party decided to cook a few meals. Walking distance to the beach, as well as a couple of places to eat. The property owners were VERY helpful with our needs. Highly recommend!

The property was exactly what we were hoping for- plenty of space for our whole family with all the comforts of home. The location is ideal with both the bay and the main beach within a one minute walk from the house. The hosts were very easy to work with, accommodating, and responded quickly to messages. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend booking this property for your next trip to San Diego.

Very nice house and great location for a family. We had 10 people stay there comfortably for a college graduation.. The house had most essentials needed. The only concern was one of the pull out beds was broken and needs to be replaced, but would definitely rent the house again ..

Great stay for a friend reunion. Loved getting to walk right onto the bay for beautiful walks along the water. House is spacious, kitchen was fun to cook in together! Parking was tough for my small car, but the host provided a video that was really helpful. Hosts were responsive and flexible with checkout to accommodate flight time. Thanks for a great stay. We made some great memories here.

Great location! A little disappointed that only one of the bedrooms had a TV. The boogie boards and a few of the beach lounge chairs need to be replaced.

Well maintained property with views and good lighting and close to beaches made it very cozy and comfortable stay. Parking is an adventure sport here. Some minor glitches with checkin. Make sure you have all your kitchen supplies before you check in, especially coffee filters.

There were some really great things about this place — awesome location, 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, big kitchen, two living rooms, parking for three cars (a real plus at the beach). But as mentioned in other reviews it needs deep cleaning and a number of repairs. If you need to use the couches as pull out beds it’s important to know there’s no mattresses, just couch cushions. And one couch is in a room with no blinds — in the night multiple security lights shine into the room. Our family had a great time together here.

It was perfect for us. Close to the bay for the youngsters and not too far to the ocean for the adults. Beds were comfy and we brought all our food to cook in the kitchen. We didn’t think to bring food containers or ziplocks, but that was our fault. We came up with some creative storage methods, lol. Overall, a great experience for our family!

Nice, comfortable, well-stocked, but with some deferred maintenance. Needs deep cleaning of bathrooms and floors, and bath mats needed to be replaced, well worn. No A/C made it uncomfortable on hot and humid weekend stay with family. Some of the cantilever windows would nit open. Some windows missing screenes. Kitchen was nice and well stocked, but Viking range was dirty, and greasy and burnt stuff left behind. Obviously not cleaned prior to our atrival. Outdoor set up was awesome for our Labor Day BBQ.

This space was perfect for our group. We were up top in the master along with our other friends who stayed in the second master. All of our adult children had ample space to lounge on the bottom & middle floor. Kitchen was nice & large, as was the dining table & counter areas w/ stools. Even without AC, there were plenty of windows that allowed the breeze to flow through. The other plus was having 3 parking spots!! (but they are a very tight squeeze)

We had an incredible stay at this gorgeous beach house! It’s perfectly located between the Mission Bay and the beach. We loved not having to drive anywhere. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The house itself was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for our group of 14! We can’t wait to come back next spring break and more memories. Our group was 3 couples and a total of 3 children. So nice for each group to have their own room + bathroom. Sitting/family areas were slightly separate, which was nice. There were beach toys and chairs to use. The grill & washer/dryer were definitely appreciated and used!

Very close to both the beach and the bay. Walking distance to many restaurants, stores, and attractions. The Quiet Neighbor policy is a plus for enjoying relaxing evenings. The house has many amenities for the beach and the kids enjoyed the toys. Michael and Lily are wonderful hosts and really created a nice space for our large family to enjoy our time in San Diego. This property has plenty of space for a large family or group. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and beaches. Easy access to the Bay, Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. The home could use a little love. The beds are comfy. Parking is very tight, but so nice to have. Plenty of beach toys, boogie boards and ice chest available. The grocery store is about 3/4 blocks away so that was great too.. Many of the windows were not operational and missing window covers. The house configuration is one large bedroom on first floor, middle floor is kitchen and two pull out sofas, third floor two large bedrooms. The mattresses under the beds are more like cushions, not full size mattresses. I would not count on those as extra sleeping situations. Maybe for very small children. Overall this location was nice. Very little noise, in fact there is a noise ordinance for the area. I would certainly return to this property with a group.. If you are not a fan of stairs this is not the house for you. The Catamaran is steps away and offers all types of rentals, a spa and multiple restaurants.
