Hardwood floors throughout home. Onsite laundry facilities available. Large, privately fenced backyard with landscaped grassy area, planter boxes, large deck and BBQ. WIFI throughout the home. Honeywell Hypoallergenic Air Filtration System cleans and sanitizes the air. Helpful to people with allergies. State of the art security system inside and out. Large driveway can accommodate 2 vehicles and street parking is also available. The Quack Shack is great for family gatherings. Centrally located and short walking distance to shops and restaurants. Bring a bike or take advantage of the bus lines that are a short walking distance from your door. You are within minutes of the Hult Center, Saturday Market, the University of Oregon campus and Hayward Field, or Autzen Stadium. It’s only 20 minutes by car to the Lorane Valley wine country, less than 60 minutes to the whitewater beauty of the McKenzie River, and less than 90 minutes to hike or ski the Cascades. We had a lovely family weekend stay here to visit our freshman at U of O and watch Ducks football at Autzen. The Quack Shack is clean and well-appointed with comfy beds, a lovely bathroom, well-stocked kitchen, and a spacious and cute backyard/patio. Five family members and a doodle stayed there comfortably. Less than 2 miles from Autzen Stafium and about a ten-minute drive to campus. We also enjoyed two local Springfield shops just a few blocks away: delicious ravioli and tomato sauce from the friendly folks at Benedetti’s Meat Market & Deli, and Juvenal’s Bakery for Tres Leches cake for a family birthday.

A charming stay for UO graduation for our family of 4. Convenient to get to Autzen stadium. The home is well taken care up with updated bathroom and everything was so clean and easy to find! I appreciate a charming home that has plenty of clear spaces and mirrors. Important bc it was a little challenging for 4 adults to share one bathroom! We were not there very much but loved spending our last afternoon on the back porch with lovely garden just hanging out with our graduate.

The house and owner are lovely. The back yard is immaculate and zen like. The home is located right near Autzen Stadium. The kitchen (and outdoor BBQ) have everything you could possibly need, but it was easy to get Uber Eats, GrubHub and DoorDash deliveries when we didn't feel like cooking. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very well maintained with extra towels and blankets and the beds were very comfortable. A+ experience!

Best Experience!
I booked this home for a group of men working on Fire Mitigation. Long 12 hours days made this home a great landing place as the check in and out station was The school in Thurston! Great experience, clean, easy to communicate and it had all they needed! Thank you again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. This is a great house to rent. Beds are comfortable, nice shower, back yard and patio inviting and the kitchen was exceptional. This house has anything a family could need.

A wonderful Home
This is the second time we have now stayed at this home, and it has become the go-to home for us, each and every time we visit the Springfield/Eugene area.
Marta is the most excellent host. Her communication is prompt and is totally focused on you having a great visit.
The house is wonderful and our dogs love the back yard.

Just Ducky!
The Quack Shack is beautifully renovated. Comfy beds and huge shower were highlights. The back deck and grill made dealing with social distancing easy. Marta is the best owner we have rented from, very responsive to any questions. We highly recommend the Quack Shack and look forward to our next visit!

Great Stay
What a fantastic little home in a great location. Very close to Ducks stadium, freeways, and food. We had a great meal at the Public House which has four to five restaurants in one location including a pub/whiskey room. The house was very clean and Marta is a great communicator. Definitely recommended!

Short stay for convenience
Marta was extremely responsive during our stay and is a prompt host. It would be nice, however, to disclose in advance or add the information to your listing that there are security cameras outdoors as well as as Indoors. It would also be nice to disclose that there is a short term rental agreement which needs to be signed after you book your stay. The reason most people choose homeaway/VRBO is so that the stay can be hassle free.

Great location, well stocked location
The house was perfect for our long weekend visiting our college student. We have stayed in many locations, and find that often the homes are lacking important components to make you feel at home. Not the case at the Quack Shack. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some family meals in. The house is everything it was listed to be. We will stay here again!

Super, clean quaint, and convenient
The Quack Shack is a super clean and comfortable home. Marta was very detailed with instructions and responsiveness. She is a pleasure to work with. The house has everything you need and the location is minutes from Autzen, a major shopping center and the University. It was the best place to spend thanksgiving with our Freshman Duck! We will likely make this our home away from home when visiting our Duck over the next 4 years.

Great Ducks-game Launch Pad
Spotless inside and out (fantastic yard for pets) -- easily the absolute cleanest home we've stayed in. SatTV with a modern flat-panel TV. Convenient to grocery stores; great pet-walking ground nearby (middle school with a paved path that's park-like); easy access to freeways for a rapid drive to UofO. Couldn't recommend more highly.

My extended stay(s) at The Quack Shack were absolutely perfect! Coming from North Carolina, I needed a place to stay for a work project in Springfield that was homey, allowed for my small dog to come with, gave me privacy and provided confidence in my personal safety and The Quack Shack was it! Although the proximity to the Ducks stadium was not on my list of necessities nor interests (sorry Oregon fans!), it really is within walking distance along with numerous paths and parks along the Williamette. Marta and her daughter are absolutely wonderful to work with - very quick to reply and address any and all concerns I may have had. I am looking forward to staying at The Quack Shack again next year when I come back for additional work. Thanks again Marta for sharing your wonderful home with Kava and I!
