The home is furnished with all the modern conveniences and is perfect for a family get-way. You will find a delightful remodel of the Kitchen and Great Room at Cedar Log Cabin. A wonderful screen porch overlooks the back yard; and you are conveniently located to the marina and a short distance from town! The Great Room offers a flat screen TV; and, wireless WIFI is available for those needed to stay connected while enjoying their vacation! Bedroom 1: Queen Bed Bedroom 2: Queen Bed Bedroom 3: Full Bed Bedroom 4: Full Bed Basement: Twin Bunk Beds (4) Full Size Futon - If you plan on using the bunk beds you must bring your own bedding. Madeline Island Vacations does not provide bedding for bunk beds. Items that you will need to bring: Food Beverages Condiments (including salt & pepper, ketchup, mustard, oils etc. - WI Department of Health & Human Services requires all condiments must be removed after each rental) Additional towels for going to the beach (bath towels provided are for use inside the property not to be taken outside or to the beach)

We had a wonderful couple of days at this property. It was super convenient to get to off the ferry. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend getaway with our 2 teenage boys and 2 dogs. Would highly recommend this property to others, especially larger groups as there was plenty of space/beds that we didn't need/use.

Wonderful accommodation, close to town. All the amenities. The adults and the littles all had a great time. We liked that it's close enough to town, yet a nice private yard, and fire pit. Safe for the smaller kids, too. Gorgeous home and site. We're already hoping to get this one for next year.

The property was unique, clean and fit our family of 6 (plus infant) very well!! Quiet and fully stocked - love the two screened porches!! Would stay again if we come to the Island - my family enjoyed it too!!

My three sisters and I have taken a yearly trip for 10 years now. The Cedar Log Cabin was one of the nicest places that we have stayed at. More than enough space for the four of us; this place easily accommodates 12 people. A great layout for families with the downstairs bunkroom and family room. Lots of space to gather, as well as having space to get away. The two screened porches allow people to sit on the porch as the sun moves across the sky throughout the day. So much room for storage of extra food/drinks/extra personal possessions brought along. The owners have thought of so many extra's to make the cabin/home comfortable for guests. The four of us are all avid cooks, and this cabin has the best equipped kitchen we've ever encountered in our 10 years' of stays. The variety of pots and pans was great in terms of larger pots for cooking. They even had a waffle iron that we forgot to bring. Lots of dry firewood for fires in the fire pit or fireplace. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of storage space in the bedrooms for clothing, etc. The cabin was very clean and well maintained; plenty of clean, plush towels and bath linens; large drying racks for wet towels/clothing. The cabin is well located on the island, being a short drive and nice walk to the business center of the little town of LaPointe. It was very quiet at night for sleeping. It was a short drive to Big Bay State Park for great hiking along Lake Superior's Big Bay. Lots of things to do on the island--hiking, biking; the MI Historical Museum is a hidden gem; one of the highlights of our trip. Explanatory signs were well placed for things like garbage disposal, directions for using TV/DVD remotes, etc. Check in was the easiest/most convenient we've ever encountered. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent place to stay on the island. Very convenient to everything. Amenities are above and beyond amazing! Great place for a family to stay and hang out with one another. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Highly recommend this place and the host.

We enjoyed our stay on Madeline Island. House ser up was perfect for multiple families and ages. There was mouse poop in the bedrooms and basement carpeting was the cleanest but otherwise we were comfortable.
