Situated in Saint George Island, this lovely house for $307 per night is a great choice for your next trip. UPDATED for 2023/24! Completely updated bedrooms with multiple ROKU smart panels for your comfort and enjoyment! New dining room table with plenty of room and room for 2 at the kitchen breakfast bar. New polywood loungers off the back deck for sunning or just reading your favorite book while the kiddos can have a snack at the picnic table. Comfortable rockers on the inviting front porch for afternoon beverages in peace and quiet. Back deck has seating for several to watch sunsets and that perfect cocktail or evening meal! Master bedroom has new walk in shower and a soaking tub to die for! If you've stayed before you must come back - if you've never stayed we welcome the opportunity to host you at Rosemary! Welcome to Rosemary! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share our island beach house with you and your family! This beautiful, comfortable home is fully equipped and well maintained in a quiet residential area of the island. There are no homes on either side! You can walk to the beach access at the end of 11th Street (5 minute walk) or to a county owned bay shore at the end of the street! This state-owned section of Apalachicola Bay is great for watching sunsets, fishing or launching the kayaks provided by Rosemary! Enjoy the large, furnished, whimsically decorated outdoor living area under the house! Take in the fresh air within the lush, private, gated and fenced yard while relaxing and grilling! There's even a room to park your golf cart for those evening cruises around the back streets of the island! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything a cook could want, whether you are preparing a gourmet meal for a large family, or simply warming up left-overs. The master bedroom offers a king sized bed with Consumer Choice top rated Doctor's Choice Denver Mattress with Euro top. You will feel like you are sleeping in a coastal cloud. There is a large adjoining bathroom with both a stand up shower and a large soaking tub. The second bedroom has two twin beds with memory foam mattresses, the third bedroom has a full Purple mattress and the fourth bedroom contains a queen Sealy mattress. Even Goldilocks has a great nights sleep at Rosemary. The fourth bedroom opens out onto a private deck with steps down to the outdoor living area! There is plenty of outdoor living spaces for sitting, rocking, gliding and relaxing while enjoying the gentle island breeze. The private yard is fenced in so your furry beach buddies can explore. There is a kids club under the stairs and outdoor seating just their size. Your island retreat includes free wi-fi, multiple Roku televisions, washer, dryer, and dishwasher. There is also a Keurig coffee maker, but be sure to bring your favorite pods! We are pet friendly, and limit to two medium sized dogs. There is a $75 pet fee for one pet and $100 for two pets. Enjoy your thyme at Rosemary! ***specials may have restrictions as far as season or dates availability. Please ask the manager. **Owner reserves the right to change rates at anytime on this listing. The changes would affect new reservations only and not a reservation already confirmed. **CANCELLATIONS - We understand emergencies arise, but once your reservation is confirmed with a deposit, the dates have to re-book for the same dates and rate before we can refund any monies. **Travel Insurance is not provided but recommended in the case of an emergency or inclement weather such as tropical storms requiring mandatory evacuations. No refunds can be given for evacuations. You must file through your provider.

Arrival was distressing...after 10 hours in the car we arrived to find the house had not been cleaned, there were no linens, etc. I contacted the property manager (Sam) who apologized and arrived within the hour to clean and sanitize and make beds, then returned the following day with extra linens and supplies.
Location is great; loved the fenced yard for our dogs and the easy access to both beach and bay. Kitchen is well equipped. Mattresses are brand new! The ROKU TV didn't work because we couldn't get the WiFi to work, but we didn't report it (because frankly we didn't care.) Sam was informed by text as we checked out.
In spite of the rocky start we had a great stay and would definitely recommend. Good value.

Great spot. Large house with plenty of room. A little dated but you can clearly tell they are slowly trying to update. Neighbor was super friendly. Yard could use a little TLC but not so bad that we wouldn't stay again.

This is a very nice property that is close to the water in both directions. If you like to kayak, there are two but you best have a kayak carrier if you choose to use them. The kitchen is fairly well furbished however, bring your own sponge/dish rag and possibly your own bottle of Dawn. There is a good washing machine and dryer in the kitchen but bring your own detergent/softener. Bathrooms are good with very nice towels; mgmt supplies hotel bars of soap and shower gel. If you are fussy about your toilet paper, bring your own. TV and Internet works really well. Beds are magnificent and cozy to sleep in. This place makes it easy to have a very nice vacation on St. George Island.

My wife and I stayed with our 2 small dogs and a couple of friends. The house was a short walk to both the beach and the bay in either direction, just a few minutes each way. We couldn’t have asked for better location. The fully fenced yard was fantastic for the pups and is hard to find in many beach areas. The house had everything we could’ve possibly needed. As with other older homes we’ve stayed at on the island, some remodeling and touch-up work is needed and a deep clean may be beneficial, but we had a great time and this house was perfect for our needs! Highly recommend.

Read the Description and You are Prepared!
The property was exactly as described. It is an older home that has had upgrades and seems to be continuing with upgrades. The house is very spacious and roomy with plenty of room to move around for all of us and our two fur babies. The fenced in yard is a blessing for the pups. The only con about the yard was that the back yard needed cutting badly, but we know the weather has been crazy lately. The decorations in the yard are adorable and eccentric. We loved the fairy lights and statues. We loved that there were two kayaks with paddles and lifejackets available. My 18, 21, 22 year olds and myself greatly enjoyed them one day. There were plenty of items provided in the kitchen for cooking as long as you don't want to cook a gourmet meal, but who does on vacay? We also loved the gates at the bottom of the deck steps to hold the dogs until we were ready for them to get to the yard. The under house parking was awesome! The beds were comfortable, but I would have preferred something on the master window that kept the sunrise out a little more. I have trouble sleeping with light, but woke up to a beautiful sunrise early every morning. The neighbors were very friendly, also! We had a great time and would definitely return!

Perfect rental for bringing our 8 month old lab puppy for her first beach trip!! The owners have made this property very welcoming and stress free for dog families!!! The fenced yard and outdoor shower were perfect! We brought our own king sheets to cover couches for an extra layer of protection. We were very relaxed and comfortable!

We loved being close to bay this time visiting the island. We also loved that the owners allowed us to use their kayaks. This was a big reason why we picked this house in addition to the fenced in yard. The inside of the house was dated but that's fairly typical for the island so no big deal. The kitchen was missing some key pieces like a frying pan that was big enough to cook bacon. Unfortunately the cleaning crew was down a person - again not normally a big deal but I wish the rental company had communicated with us earlier when they found out since we didn't end up being able to check in until 5:45pm. All an all it was a great time and a great location close to the bay for amazing sunsets.
