About this villa rental
Situated in Coligny Beach, this attractive villa for $333 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Why choose The Breakers? Location, location, location! The Breakers is a 120 unit complex right on the beach at beautiful Hilton Head Island. It has a heated pool (as needed March - November); there is also a separate children's pool (unheated). There is wireless internet access and cable television. It is directly across the street from Coligny Plaza with its variety of shops and restaurants - so a very short walk to restaurants, shops, a cinema, a grocery store, a coffee shop and several ice cream stores. You can leave your car in the parking lot for your entire vacation and walk or bike everywhere you want to go. Why choose this unit? The location offers a wonderful view of both the pool and the ocean. Breakers 226 is directly in the ''center of the horseshoe''. The quality furnishings and lovely beach decor make this unit a great choice. There are beach chairs for guests to use. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen. There are tile floors and granite countertops. The bedroom and living room are carpeted. There is a HEPA air filter that is supposed to catch dust, pollen, allergens and even the COVID-19 virus. Please Note - The Breakers units are small - 518 square feet - so they are best for a couple or a family with small children. There is a queen sized-bed in the bedroom, children's bunkbeds in a cubby in the hall (kids LOVE these!) and a very comfortable Queen sized pull-out couch. The kitchen has a refrigerator (with icemaker), dishwasher, stove, convection oven/microwave, blender, crock pot and coffee maker (standard and KCup). There is a stackable washer and dryer. The complex does not allow pets or grilling. There is no smoking in the Breakers' common areas - including the pool. This villa is non-smoking (including the balcony); sadly other units do allow smoking on balconies. You must be 25 years old to rent. Finally, there are now 2 elevators at The Breakers!!!! There is cable TV in the living room and bedroom but there is no landline telephone service. Our cell phones work great in the unit; yours should too. We offer wireless internet access. Finally... Cleaning is included in the rates but 11% South Carolina taxes are not. VRBO/Homeaway is now charging a service fee. One parking pass is issued for each stay. No boat and trailer parking. Check-in time is 4:00 PM; check-out time is 10:00 AM. Please check the availability calendar and email or call with questions. Thank you for considering The Breakers 226. We hope you will spend your vacation with us! Note - a national pest control company sprays the whole Breakers complex the second Monday of each month. They do come inside the units to spray.

Condo unit was fine except tor the fact that the bed was very large for the bedroom and could only be accessed from one side. This is more difficult for people who are quite old. Otherwise the accommodations were OK and location was good.

My husband and I spent a long weekend in this cozy condo. It was clean and the location was perfect. Just a few steps to the beach and pool. We walked to several beach bars and restaurants. It’s perfect for two and we would definitely rent this condo again’

We always enjoy staying at the Breakers. We like being on the beach and close to grocery store and restaurants. It’s always clean and well maintained. Our unit has washer/dryer and that’s a plus to keep clothes clean from the sand. Everything in the condo worked perfectly.

This condo was the perfect condo for my family and I for the week. It was the view for us that we enjoyed most! The owner of the condo was so sweet and gave the best information for where to eat and shop and things to do. We have already looked to stay at this condo again in the future!

This location is in very close walking distance to Coligny shopping center with restaurants and shop, even a piggly wiggly. The only down side is that it’s right next to the public entrance. The beach was extremely crowded Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The room had a robo vacuum which was great and an spectacular view of the pool and decent view of the ocean. The mirrors in the bedroom and living came in handy as we had 2 twelve year old girls with us that love to lock themselves in the bathroom to look at themselves for hours. I would definitely recommend to others with small kids or as a couple.

We live nearby so stay at The Breakers a couple of times a year. We always try to stay at 226. The view is nice and the condo is clean and maintained well. It's always fun to see the updates - this time the elevator was finally working (a HUGE improvement!) and there was nice new carpet in the condo. It is a small unit but love that you can walk or bike everywhere.

The unit was not clean. There was what looked like chocolate ice cream stains from the kitchen to the living room. on the carpet. The kitchen floor was dirty and had cereal under the cabinets. The balcony had pizza crust and cereal on the floor. The walls are dinghy especially where the queen bed is pushed against the wall. LeAnn offered to refund our stay if we wanted to find another place but we had moved our stuff in and where on such short notice could we find some place else! She did refund our first night stay. She did not know about the dirty carpet. She offered to have someone clean it but who wants to be bothered with that while on vacation!! She said she was going to have the walls repainted. Since the queen bed is pushed against the wall, I had no way to get out of bed. I have a bad knee and would not be able to get out unless I climbed over my husband. I slept on the couch and wish I had brought ear plugs! You could hear the people upstairs walking around and running water. The people in 225, you could hear them talking and their tv. I picked LeAnn’s condo because of the location and the nonsmoking policy. I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke. She stated in her listing, “The complex does not allow pets, smoking or grilling. This villa is non-smoking (including the balcony).” This was a joke! Many people were smoking!! The bedroom is so tiny that we had to take turns getting into the closet and getting ready.
