VRBO damage insurance of $59 is required. Occupancy Limit is 4 persons and We Only Rent from Saturday to Saturday *** And, do not accept American Express for payments. We are State Licensed and follow all ordinances and occupancy limits. We offer weekly rental from Saturday to Saturday. No discount for early departures. Sorry no pets, no WIFI, local tv only. Standard 4 person Vacation Rental provides the following Sales and Room Tax where applicable on Lodging, Row Boat, 3 Kayaks, Canoe & Firewood Arrival Check in time is 2:30 to 3:00 pm, Departure Check out time is 8:30 to 9:00 am, if a later arrival is needed please advise us in advance. The Lakeside Cabin Vacation Rental Is located on the south end of Chief Lake of The Chippewa Flowage (Steaven's Point) and is ideally located on a large bay facing southeast. And has views of two islands and pristine wooded shoreline across the bay. The cabin sleeps four comfortably. The bedrooms are one queen and two twin nicely furnished bedrooms. The bathroom has tile shower and finished in knotty pine and decorated with an up north style. The cabin consists of two bedrooms, one 3/4 bath, living room, dinning table which seats six and a spacious fully furnished kitchen remodeled in 2021. The yard is nicely landscaped with a northwoods style of rocks and boulders with accents of color in a variety of perennial and annual flowers. ~it is our hope to have others enjoy relaxation and the peaceful surroundings of the Big Chip and Northwoods. You can enjoy morning sunrises and the sounds & sights of loons. There are loons, bald eagles, otters, bears & deer that can be seen if you happen to be in the right place at the right time. So, keep a watchful eye and enjoy the moment. The Chippewa Flowage has 17,000 acres of water, over 200 miles of shoreline and has 140 islands. This is the largest wilderness lake in Wisconsin. This body of water has many fish species; musky, northern pike, walleye, perch, crappie, pan fish & bass. Our cabin has a 32 foot private aluminum dock & there is a fire pit with lots of campfire wood furnished. We are excited for our next season and welcome back those who stayed last summer and those new families we look forward to meeting for the first time. A list of area Businesses we support and hope you do too during your stay is kept on the fridge with details of bait, lic, food. We offer standard sleeping for up to 4 persons, a 32 ft private dock, campfire wood, 15 ft Old Town Canoe, two 12 ft Sundolphin kayaks, one 10 ft Sundolphin kayak, 12 ft row boat, four life jackets and safety cushions, charcoal grill and fish cleaning station with running water.

Chippewa Flowage has lovely scenery and good fishing. The cabin was immaculate and a great location. As a FYI this area has bad cell phone coverage and no internet in cabin. A prefect place to unplug. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

Pristine cabin on a great lakefront setting. Bev and Dan thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. The owners in the surrounding homes couldn't have been nicer and helpful when we had an issue with our car. The whole setting made us feel safe and protected. We would definitely stay here again!

Dan and Bev have thought of everything in offering their beautiful cabin on Chief Lake. Cabin was very well appointed with everything needed for a magnificent stay on the Flowage. They were awesome to work with and very organized and complete during booking and check-in. Highly recommend!!

Clean, well-kept and stocked cabin with beautiful lake frontage. The amenities are there as described and we took advantage of most of them: dock, fire pit, charcoal grill, fish-cleaning station and the kayaks. Bev and Dan were wonderful to work with and we were glad to meet them on our arrival day.

Gorgeous wilderness drive to the cabin, met our friendly host , went over everything clearly we needed to know,awesome screen room with lake view,newly renovated rustic up north decor,a/c, own pier , fire pit ,grille , lakeside resorts with great fish fry and gas for boat nearby , as well as huge beautiful lake to fish , swim and or just explore an wildlife to enjoy!!

Our family had a great week at Bev and Dans cabin. They really have thought out every detail of vacation life. Their property is so welcoming and the hummingbirds and squirrels will keep you entertained. Lots of fish to catch right from the dock. We loved the size of the flowage and it offers much to do and see all around you. Great places to eat on the lake and beautiful scenery all of the time! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us, we look forward to coming to visit again :)

From being met by the owners upon arrival through the end of the stay everything was as good or better than expected. The location was also excellent with a protected shoreline so didn't worry too much about my boat and easy access to good fishing. The built in bumpers on the dock were helpful too. The A/C worked great which was a big plus with a week where every day was in the 90's. Overall, a great week!

This property was very well taken care of and had a great view of the lake. We had a great week just relaxing, grilling and fishing.Kayaks and a canoe were also available to use.
