Nestled in Pacific Grove, this charming house for $583 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. City of Pacific Grove STR License Number: 0432 This home on Ocean View Blvd. sits directly across from the Pacific Grove Coastal Trail and just a short walk away from Monterey Bay Aquarium (3 blocks), Cannery Row, Downtown Pacific Grove and Lover’s Point. There is a fantastic ocean view with no obstructions from the open space living room, kitchen and dining area. Wake up and watch the waves from two of the three bedrooms. This 1700 sq. ft., one story home, is easily accessible from the carport, which has space for three cars. It is walking distance to great restaurants and bars but has a wonderful kitchen that is great for staying in and enjoying the view. Watch for otters, seals and whales... lots of activity in front of this house (Casa Del Mar). This is a 3-bedroom, 2 bath luxury home. The master bedroom (The Butterfly Room) has a Sleep Number king bed and an attached bathroom with a soaker bathtub, separate shower, and double sinks. Wake up to see the ocean while lying in bed. Fall asleep watching the flat screen LED Smart TV. The back bedroom (The California Room) has a king bed with a memory foam mattress, it can also be split into two XL twin beds. There is a flat screen TV and DVD player in this room. The third bedroom (The Sea Star Room) also has an ocean view and can be used as an office. Has a queen sized bed with a memory foam mattress, and make it a third bedroom. There is also one twin Aero-bed, a regular twin air mattress, a PacNPlay and kid booster seat. The fully stocked kitchen has lots of counter space and features a professional style gas range and convection oven. The dining room table is set for 6 but can accommodate 8 and extra folding chairs and tables are available. The living room has plenty of seating, two chairs, loveseat, sofa and a bay window. Enjoy watching TV or a movie on the 55” flat screen LED Smart TV or Blu-ray player. Or just sit by the gas fireplace and look out the large windows at the incredible ocean view. A telescope and binoculars are available to help spot ocean life. There is a BBQ and outdoor table and chairs to enjoy a meal on the back patio, while still seeing the ocean. Other outside sitting areas can also be enjoyed. Wi-Fi, video games (PS2, which can be used on any of the three TV's), puzzles, books, board games and a few toys are available for most age levels. Amplified sounds or other loud noises, auctions, commercial functions, weddings, and other similar large group activities are not allowed.

PROS:
Previous reviews state it well: the house is comfortable, great layout, cozy beds, we lacked for nothing. Loved the organization and cleanliness of the home. Owner is a wonderful host and communication is good.
CONS: We have stayed in Pacific Grove several times and knew exactly where this house was located so we looked forward to staying here. However, it is located in a busy part of town, so expect traffic noise that starts at 6:30 am and doesn't die down till 10pm.
We recommend and would stay at this property again :)

We stayed in this house with our son and daughter-in-law in 2021 for Car Week. When Porsche announced that Rennsport Reunion 7 would be at Laguna Seca this fall I booked it again and we added our 10 month old granddaughter to the mix which was fun and the house fits our family nicely. As the pictures show it is right next to the water with only a road and a fence between you and the sea. If you walk down the road you can get to the water down a rocky walk. Beautiful views, very nice house, sufficient parking for two vehicles. And it is close to Monterey, restaurants, etc, but not so close that traffic is overwhelming.

We loved our stay. The rental was wonderfully stocked with e yew needed. The view was outstanding. The location was perfect for us. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Would highly recommend this place.

Perfect setting for this ocean loving family! Everything was provided and a short, scenic walk took us to everything we wanted to experience. Loved coming “home” to Casa Del Mar after sightseeing each day.

We always enjoy our atay at Casa Del Mar. It's location is walking distance to all PG attractions and the view is the best in town!!! Marci is a gracious host and we hope to return really soon.

This house was perfect for my lady friends. We are all over 70 and needed the single story house. We walked the trail almost every day. Loved the centralized location. We have vacationed on the coast for over 40 years. Hope to continue this tradition in this house next year.

Very nice location with lots to do, house was clean and well maintained. Lots of extra amenities for our kids to enjoy from board games to play toys to video game systems. Our family loved our stay and the covered parking was a nice bonus!

Beautiful views, comfortable beds, everything we could need, walking distance to Cannery Row. The power went out due to a storm with high winds, there were lanterns, puzzles, games, and other activities in the closet for the family. The owners/property manager were quick to respond to any correspondence. Definitely would stay here again.

Fantastic rental with parking, easy access to the trail, and close to Pebble Beach. Comfortable beds, plenty of space for 5 grown men on this trip. Easy communication with host and simple late entry into the house on our arrival. Highly recommend this property. Already thinking about another visit.

Wonderful house with incredible views and a very comfortable feel including great beds. The kids enjoyed the books and games available. Everything was well marked and easy instructions. The location was incredible with easy walking distance to lots of things. Also being right on the bike path was ideal. A couple of minor cleanliness issues but nothing too egregious. Overall a wonderful experience and we would be happy to come back another time.

This was a perfect getaway. My two friends and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The ocean view was fantastic. The house was exceptional and very clean. It held up to everything that was listed in VRBO. I look forward to returning sometime in the near future!

Perfect location, beautiful home
We came to Monterey to experience the Aquarium and all the area had to offer. This location was unbelievable- short walk to Cannery Row and the aquarium. And the walk takes you right by the Harbor Seal beach! The home was clean and comfortable with an excellent view of the bay. We could watch dolphins and seals while having coffee. Great trip, we would definitely stay again.

This is our 4th time renting a vacation home in Pacific Grove, and I believe this may be our favorite. Maybe not as big or fancy as some, but the location is unbeatable. Those views! Easy walk to the aquarium and Cannery Row, to the beach and farmers market. This home also had a wonderful assortment of entertainment activities for kids and adults, and a kitchen that lacks for nothing.

We had a wonderful stay at the beginning of May 2022. The location is ideal, nearby the Aquarium and Cannery Row. The views are spectacular from every window at the front of the house. It was very quiet inside despite being on Ocean View Blvd. Also, the house is above street level so the cars going by were not an issue. We saw whales, harbor seals and even a sea otter. The house is well stocked and everything is clearly labeled. The beds were comfortable.
The house is wheelchair accessible for the most part. The driveway area is a bit steep and could be an issue if you are handicapped.
We loved our stay and who be happy to return in the future.
