The rooms are slightly dated but clean with very attentive staff. We arrived during the week so there was a set menu as there were low numbers of guests. The staff let us have dinner in the room and delivered it which was great. Perfect location for hiking in the surrounding area which was the purpose of our stay. Loved the hot spa and watching the sunset after a day of hiking. No bar or alcohol so we bought from duty free on arrival into Muscat. Food was great and the staff were amazing
We thought there was a bar which wasn’t operational, seems they were previously licensed and are no longer offering this. Not an issue as we got duty free on arrival but mixed reviews made this unclear.

excellent location for exploring jebel akhdar and enjoying stunning sunsets over the canyon
the hotel feels run-down and is in need of maintenance. the air conditioning units are very noisy and produce an unpleasant smell. the gardens appear neglected, and the interiors would also benefit from renovation. the hotel staff seemed rather uninterested, and the breakfast definitely leaves room for improvement.
