North Coast Village is an oceanfront tropical paradise located between the Oceanside Harbor and the Oceanside Pier, and is a favorite destination for people from around the world. You'll enjoy the beautiful waterfalls, tropical foliage, flowers, streams, walkways, Koi ponds, two heated pools and spas, putting green, exercise rooms, saunas, and recreation rooms with table tennis, billiards and foosball. The complex consists of nine four-story buildings surrounded by two-story cottages, on several acres of lushly landscaped tropical grounds. You are just steps from the sand; there are no roads to cross - this is an OCEANFRONT COMPLEX! The unit offers a great view of the beach, ocean and is accurately described by the rental company. Kitchen was well equipped and the bed was spacious and comfortable. The weather was cool, so we used the fireplace often. It didn't give off much heat and cycled on and off frequently. It might need service. Most of the furniture was comfortable with the exception of the chair near the deck which could use new cushions. The common elements are beautiful and well maintained. The location was great, close to a walking path along the beach front to the pier. Good proximity to a variety of restaurants and fish markets. We will likely book again.

The property was perfect, the only complaint we have was that the unit next door is being remodeled and there was a lot of construction noise during the day on the Friday and Monday. There was alot of other construction in the complex as well. The workers worked longer than the posted hours. We will definitely stay at the unit in the future as the construction should be completed by then

Love being steps from the beach. Pool is great and walking distance to harbor. Unit itself was updated and lovely and very comfortable with nice touches.

Our short 4 night stay was a good experience. We stayed last year in a different unit and this one was much cleaner and in a better location. We were able to walk to the harbor for our meals and also one morning walked around the entire harbor are to get in our 5 miles. We also walked to the pier and a bit further along the Strand a couple of mornings. The view from our condo was excellent, although I do wish that they would have made the lanais more private with an extension that blocked the view from adjoining units. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Check in and check out couldn't be any simpler. I would recommend any friends or family to stay in this complex. One really cool thing we did is take The Coaster to San Diego to visit Old Town to have a late lunch. Next time we will take the Old Town Trolly for the tour. The Hwy 101 Cafe is great for breakfast and the Lighthouse for Happy Hour tacos is worth the walk.

This was a vacation for my 2 teenage sons (16 & 18) and myself. We knew we wanted to visit San Diego and LA and this town was the perfect middle-ground for our adventures. What I didn't know was that I would enjoy being at the resort as much as traveling the other cities and wish I had left more time to just sit here and relax.
I loved watching both the marina and beach with the early morning surfers, from our deck. I also enjoyed sitting by the pool and walking the grounds and beach. It's a beautifully maintained resort and I plan to come back.
As for our room... It was everything we needed. It was a one bedroom/one bath that had a pull out couch in the living room, which worked fine for us. The space wasn't huge, so I folded up the bed/couch daily to give us room to move around, but that was simple. Coming from the southeast, the lack of AC worried me, but I quickly learned the climate is much different in this area. Luckily there was a fan and with that and open windows, it felt great (I did have to sit in front of the fan to dry my hair.)

The owners of Casa Del Sol thought of everything you need for a great stay. The decor was very tasteful, shower was wonderful, everything you needed in the kitchen, lots of linens- everything very neat and organized. The “June Bloom” weather was a disappointment but the location & view from the unit was great. I would suggest there be a bench in the bedroom window niche, to put the comforter & bed pillows on, at night when sleeping. As the very comfortable bed is high, you can’t use it when putting shoes on, so a bench would come in handy for that also. Also 2 hand towel rings mounted on the walls on either side of the vanity. ,would be nice. Other than those, everything was great and we hope to come back to Casa del Sol again!!

We loved the complex and location. However the carpet has stains all over in living room and bedroom and just felt dirty.
The pans and cookie sheets looked dirty and were very old. There was a stain on a sheet, blanket and towel. We recommend North Coastal Village but not this condo. Owners need to make some changes. Disappointed that VRBO has this condo on their website.

Great space. Super clean. Lots of towels and very comfortable bed. Had to extend stay for one more day and they were able to accommodate us. This unit doesn’t have AC, but there are ceiling and floor fans. The underground parking within the gated community was also nice. Full kitchen really nice for breakfast.

Also, the views from the balcony were so nice to enjoy with coffee.

The non-stop battle with the ants was the only negative of an otherwise very relaxing and comfortable stay. We did all we could possible do to keep the kitchen counter clean with nothing to draw the ants but it never stopped. Hopefully, with some pest control that will be resolved.

The property needs A/C during heat wave times. A freestanding unit is needed. The whole complex has no AC and is probably not an issue except a few months of the year. It was over 90 degrees inside our rental about 20 hours of the day. The outdoor areas are beautiful and it’s right on the beach. The positive outweighs the negative here but be careful in August and September.

I have stayed twice at North Coast Village and both times I have no complaints. Good atmosphere, nice well kept property, beach adjacent and kid friendly. I would stay here a third time for sure.

The property was what we were looking for. Clean, comfortable and convient to pool, beach and restaurants. Complex is fenced which makes it great if you have young children. The only negative was the coffee pot was a coffee nate and didn't handle kcups.

Grand parents trip.
We took our grandchildren to Legoland and the zoo. This place was worth the extra investment. We were right on the beach and the place was well kept. I highly recommend this location for a convenient and fun place to stay.

When we arrived at NCV condos we parked across the street in the public parking while we picked up the keys from the HOA. If you have mobility issues this is a long walk and has multiple areas with stairs. We then drove to our assigned parking space under the building. There is an elevator to the unit. It will accommodate a standard wc or small scooter. When we got to the room a flyer was on the door stating there would be noisy construction on the roof all week. My heart sunk, but then the noise from that was intermittent and not too bad from this unit. The condo was as pictured with a nice view from the bedroom and balcony. I would recommend switching the position of the sofa and TV to have an ocean view from the living room while sitting on the sofa. The sofa is VERY firm. I would recommend removing an overstock of kitchen stuff. It would allow the cleaning staff to do a better job of cleaning as several of the pans and items were greasy/dirty. There were just too many items in the cupboards for deep cleaning between guests IMO. I would also recommend a small Dust Buster vacuum near the kitchen. The TV in the living room has full cable and the TV in the bedroom had modified cable and Amazon Prime. The King size bed had good sheets. It is very high off the floor (I'm 5'9")and a climb in. I'd recommend more hangers in the closet. The ceiling fan did not work in master, or the pull chain was stuck IDK. There were plenty of nice white towels for 4 people and 4 striped beach towels. There were extra blankets for the pull out sofa and 2 pillows. The walk in shower was nice. You can move around the unit with a walker if needed. The shower had nice pressure and temp and the toilet flushed well. The unit had 2 beach chairs a small cooler and a rolling basket/cart. It was all good for the price, the MAJOR issue was the small children in the unit above us running back and forth all day SO LOUD! The grounds are very tropical great pool/spa.

Very nice vacation rental
The complex was beautifully maintained. The location was wonderful, right on the beach and a short walk to the harbor. My only complaint is the carpet in our unit. There were dirty stains in the dining area. The rest of the unit was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the garage under the building was very convenient with reserved spaces.

The property was comfortable and clean with a lovely view and the complex was very pretty and well maintained. It is in an amazing location with easy access to the beach, the harbour, the pier and all the amazing restaurants. We just walked everywhere. Would definitely visit again
