No need to rent a car. The St. Charles Street streetcars is just a short walk and a 10 minute ride to the French Quarter. Great eating places all over the Lower Garden District. Can't wait to get back.

It was the perfect size and location for the two of us to stay. Accessible to the highway and all the other areas NOLA has to offer outside of the Garden District. The instructions were very clear and accessible. Owner was very communicative and helpful with questions.

We loved our stay at the condo. Magazine street is full of great shops, restaurants and bars. If you like to walk everything is easily navigable to get to from this location. Uber/Lyft rides super reasonable as well! We would definitely stay here again. Karl was responsive and a wonderful host!

An intriguing flat composed of two former boardinghouse rooms in a separate building in the backyard (now a patio). An easy 20 minute walk to the French Quarter and central business district, and a similar distance in the opposite direction to the extra bougie part of Magazine Street. But lots of interesting stuff in between as well. (Don't miss the tea shop across the street from this property where the graying hippie behind the counter never fails to mention, with a wink, that "the best stuff is not on the menu.") The property itself is humble, but it is clean and safe. One bedroom with a double bed, a full kitchen, and a full bath with washer and dryer. No central heating or air, which would be a challenge in either extreme heat or cold. The proprietor was attentive and helpful before and throughout our stay. Will definitely consider returning here next time I am in NOLA.

My girlfriend and I stayed here on our one year anniversary. The owner was extremely helpful, not only in terms of making sure the living space was in good condition for us, but also giving us tips of places to visit and things to do. The living space was as advertised, and it was in a fantastic location. When I visit NOLA again I will try my best to book a stay at this condo for our return.

We enjoyed our stay at Karl’s condo. It was clean and well-furnished with all the necessities of living self-sufficiently for a week, including a little washer and dryer which we used. It’s an excellent location within walking distance of great bars and restaurants, the convention center and even the French Quarter if you enjoy walking. We highly recommend this unit.

We enjoyed our time at the property. The only problem we had were the hundreds of little things flying around in the room especially at night. I don't know what they were. They look like little gnats. The property was clean since the house cleaner left a few minutes before our arrival. The neighbors were wonderful. I would stay here again if I didn't need to be in the French quarter everyday. The quaint little shops in the area were nice. It would be five star but the flying things were so annoying.

This apt was very nice and clean. It had a refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker, washer and dryer. The street was very nice and seemingly safe. The street car was 3 blocks away. I had a great time.

Safe neighborhood within walking distance of many great areas. I walked ten mins to get to WW2 museum (which was amazing btw). Clean. AC is wall-mounted so it’s a tad loud but not a problem. We had a good time. Recommended place to stay.

Stayed at Karl's condo on our way back home from Texas. Loved the area and we're planning on going back when we can spend a lot more time. Will definitely keep Karl's place in mind for the stay. It was in a great location and perfect for a couple. Appreciate Karl's attention to responding to my messages. Would like to have been on the ground floor, but that was my fault for not paying more attention to the details. Would definitely recommend this location.

Everything we needed for our stay in NOLA. The walk was not very long to Canal St and to the streetcars on St. Charles. The bed was comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. Would stay again.

Awesome location!

We had a great stay! This little rental is tucked away behind the main road and is very private. We could walk down to Bourbon street or the other way towards the mansions, all within 30 min or less! The apartment itself is quaint but had everything we needed! And, a huge thank you to Karl, the owner, for being so quick to respond to any and all questions! We highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants to be close to New Orleans fun!

This rental is directly across the street from a bus stop that will bring you back and only about 1.5-2 blocks to a stop that will take you into the city. It was perfect for us and extremely convenient. It was clean and Karl did a great job getting us information and giving us tips during our stay. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way and because we wished we could lock the actual door from the outside not just the gate door. I would give 4.5 stars if I could. Would stay here again if I was going back to New Orleans!
