Since we we weren't renting a car, our primary consideration in our lodging was proximity to the beach and establishments. Doc's vrbo exceeded all expectations. The beach access is just steps from the room, beautiful and never crowded, Doc was always accessible, helpful and a perfect host. After we encountered a glitch in our travel reservations, Doc left a bottle of champaign in the room to greet us, and worked with us on a delayed check-out. I'll never stay anywhere else in that region of FL.

The property is perfectly located for immediate beach access. The apartment was fully stocked and tidy. Doc was ao hospitable and was always available for questions and additional needs! We fell in love with the place. We would definitely book again if Doc will have us! Thank you for everything!

If you are not to needy, great location, nice comfortable bed and okay bathroom. Host was very friendly. We did not need anything, but I am sure Doc would have helped if we did. Would stay again.

The location of this property is 80 steps from the beach. The property manager Doc is easy to work with and is available as needed. Our studio was just as advertised and we enjoyed each day with our toes in the sand and beverages in hand!

Doc was a great host. He was available when needed to answer questions. The efficiency #8 has some quarks (like no outlet in bathroom for the hairdryer, bathroom sink area narrow and no thermostat for AC). Other units were larger. The location is wonderful. I'd stay there again.

The studio space was small but we didn’t plan to spend much time inside anyway. The thermostat was not in our unit but we didn’t have any issues with the temperature. When it was turned down, we adjusted the vents to make it a temperature that worked for us. Lights outside the window keep the room lit at night, so if you like a dark room consider a sleep mask. Doc was very nice and always around and checking in. Beach access is just a very short distance and it is private enough that we didn’t have to worry about crowds. There is a grocery store, CVS, and a few restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend and return to stay at Sunglow. Doc is a wonderful host!

Perfect place to stay for about 4 days, place was very clean and well stocked with towels & toilet paper. Doc answered any questions we had, and came out of his way to turn the thermostat down that was in the other room. Me & my husband prefer a very cold room, and since the thermostat was in the other room, we had no control over the thermostat which is our only complaint. So if you prefer a cold room, definitely recommend bringing a fan (or two). Other than that, our stay was perfect.

Just a few steps out your door and you are on the beach! Loved having beach chairs and umbrellas! It was also nice to visit with all the other guests visiting! The owner was always checking on his guests and ensured they were taken care of! My daughter and I had a great stay!

Best location for a quiet beach, best host ever!
This is a quiet lovely condo, right in the beach! Walk out the door and you are there, and the beach is quiet. We saw maybe 3 people there. It’s clean and looks just like pictured. The bed was wonderful, there were 2 tvs with ability to stream your own shows if wanted. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Doc was a great host, checked in with us often to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything. The lovely lady who cleans is wonderful. There are beach chairs and umbrellas and even left over toys for kids. Doc let my son pick two shells from an amazing collection and my son is over the moon about getting these special shells. Great place, will definitely be back!

The room was not at all what I expected. The ad said studio, I wasn't expecting what appears to be the renovated office from a 1960's Elvis movie. My wife and I actually like retro and occasionally rent older retro hotel rooms. This was a surprise trip to my wife, she didn't know anything about the property. Even though I was disappointed, we were actually ok with the room and the rest of the property...... until we saw how dirty and unkept our tiny "retreat" was. We were also charged an additional cleaning fee with our reservation, obviously this is just a money maker judging by how dirty this place was. One example- there was either dried blood or chocolate inside and on a pillow case and the pillow, stuck to both. We were able to get past this disgusting find. The more we settled in, the more we noticed, and the more uncomfortable our stay became. Not only was the ceiling fan filthy, the ceiling and wall were stuck and covered in "dustbunnies". Cracked tiles, dirty old vents, missing curtains, dirty floor base moulding, missing light covers, ceiling globe light filled with debris...
There were also booking issues(major issues) with another guest while we were there, on top of other stories we heard during our stay that left us with the feeling these aren't isolated incidents! The " vibes" were not good, they only got worse as time went on.

We had a great stay at Docs place! Steps to the beach and chairs for our use rather than paying to use the beach ones. On trolley route close to everything. He was very responsive with any needs. We decided to extend our stay and doc was filled up but helped us find another place nearby and even gave us a ride there! He went Above and beyond! Great experience. Great owner!

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon, we stayed in unit 8. Perfect for 2 people. If you like more shower space I suggest renting the other units Doc has! We loved the short walk to the beach. This spot is in the middle of everything you would need: grocery store, CVS, Johns Pass. Etc..
Doc has everything you’ll need for the beach as well including chairs and umbrellas. Will definitely be back!

This owner is the worst and the biggest lier we ever met. I wish I can upload pictures. Stayed the 1st night out of 3, charged us more than half of our total stay for that terrible night. No A/C, thermostat located at another unit !!!, No TV. It was terrible. Shame on VRBO to list such a place. If you want pictures email me [email protected]

This is a studio unit. I've never stayed in a studio before and didn't like how small it was. I think it's best suited for one person. The owner, Doc was very hands on and helpful. He provided Beach chairs and coverings to help block the sun while on the beach. The actual beach was nice...... comfortable and the water wasn't rough. The hype about the sunsets are TRUE!! They are absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend Doc's property, but not the studio. The one bedroom was much more to my liking.
