The cottage offers exactly what Ashland visitors are seeking: Comfort and charm, ample amenities and a walkable location. The cottage is newly constructed yet designed with the same Craftsman appeal as our 1920s residence. As a separate house with a private entrance, the cottage offers spacious living with high ceilings, natural light and inspiring views.. all within a 10 minute walk to theaters and downtown Licensed by the City of Ashland, PA14-01726

This was a perfect place for us while we explored Ashland! The B&B is beautifully appointed, clean, and very private - even though it's only 10-minute walk to the downtown area. Margaret was a lovely and responsive host. I hope to go back soon!

Beautiful cottage hidden on back alley with very nice finishings inside. Convenience to theatre, restaurants and shops. Easy arrival. Communicated via phone for arrival and departure as had no problems during three night stay. Very well kept & clean. Split level, bedroom upstairs with half bath, kitchen and full ( with tub ) bathroom down. Lovely stay.

We found the Ashland Cottage to be so lovely! Both cozy and roomy for two, well stocked with essentials and kitchen wares, and great AC. We enjoyed morning coffee on the tree-shaded deck, greeted by chickens in the coop and the friendly dog. Great location, close to town and the plays. Host was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We hope to visit again.

Cottage was spotless and well apportioned. Our 18 year old daughters slept well on the very comfortable and well designed pull out sofa bed. Charming neighborhood was extremely quiet.

This is an ideal home for a trip to Ashland. It is close to everything that makes Ashland Ashland!!! Shakespeare Theaters, Caberet Theater, Lithia Park, downtown shops and restaurants.
The hosts are very friendly and helpful and have paid attention to all the details to make you feel at home. The kitchen has everything needed to make a gourmet meal and the barbecue on the deck is well maintained.
We stay in Ashland 2 or 3 times a year and now that we have found this home we will plan our trips around vacancies at The Cottage!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Ashland Cottage. It is obvious the owners take great pride in providing an inviting and cozy place to stay with many nice extras such as a well supplied kitchen, nice assortment of teas and coffee, local maps and nice views. We enjoyed leisurely mornings at the Ashland Cottage before the 10 minute walk to the play venues. We had everything we needed and very much enjoyed the location up the hill a little from Main Street. It really is a perfect location and the hosts, Mark and Margeret, make the Cottage a wonderful place to stay.

The Ashland Cottage was quiet and conveniently located near many local restaurants and shops. We appreciated having the half bath upstairs in the sleeping loft. It was our first time in the area and we felt welcomed at the cottage.

The property was spotless and as advertised. It's clear they were very thoughtful about the amenities. Everything we needed was there. It's in a good location with a short, if hilly walk to downtown Ashland.

Beautiful Ashland guesthouse
We loved our stay at Margaret and Mark’s beautifully appointed guesthouse. The king bed upstairs was very comfortable and our young ladies slept great on the new pullout couch. The kitchen, deck, and bbq made our stay very comfortable and the location kept our car parked for most of the trip with downtown Ashland a short walk away. Mark even provided us with fresh eggs from their chickens.

This is the perfect location for walking around the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and downtown Ashland area. The loft has a great bed with beautiful views, and we enjoyed the bathroom up there. Really high quality finishes throughout. The sofabed, sadly, was super uncomfortable, so we don't recommend that for anyone staying longer than one night. Otherwise, the space easily accommodated 2 adults and 2 children.
