Situated in Oceanside, this lovely condo for $251 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Surf View Cottage - F8 at North Coast Village This incredible 180° view is to-die-for! The Pacific Ocean, jetty, marina, river, and mountains will captivate your senses with unobstructed views to Catalina. The Harbor is just a short walk over the river bridge to shops and great restaurants. This sought-after 2 BR, 2 BA single level cottage unit is in a very private location, just steps to the sand and surf. The kitchen has an updated gorgeous slab granite, custom cabinets, glass tile back splash, stainless steel appliances, and wood-look porcelain floors. Both baths have also been remodeled with granite counters and stone showers. Attractively furnished with a cozy fireplace, queen size sleeper sofa, 2 chairs and an ottoman, Surf View Cottage is the ideal hub for your Southern California beach vacation! The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the second bedroom has a twin and double bunk bed. All bed linens are provided. The kitchen features a stainless steel refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. It is equipped with dishes, pots, pans and flatware, cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, and blender. The dining area seats 6. Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. Three televisions provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet. As you walk through the staffed secure gate to North Coast Village you are transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex in Oceanside California. You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, sand rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool on one of North Coast Village's 2 new pool tables, a jog on a treadmill in the exercise room, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi fish is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit. When you venture all the way through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego County’s finest beaches: broad and flat, with fire rings, volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! Be sure to stake out a fire ring (to the left) for a unique evening beach fire at least one night while you are in Oceanside. To the north, you can walk to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed). North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially useful when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer. Fantastic location. Love the beach. Nice condo, recently remodeled with great set up. No beach umbrella like most other north coast village units. The only downside was maintenance/landscaping being worked on below the balcony so we had limited time to enjoy peace and quiet on the balcony during the day - understandable that work needed to be completed and this would not prevent us from returning.

This location is amazing!! The place is steps to the beach. There are great beds including the couch bed and the kitchen is stocked with tons of items for your stay!!

The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our family with 2 kids under 7. We enjoyed being so close to the beach. We were extremely happy with the communication and flexibility around our schedule. Would definitely stay again.

The property was great - very convenient access to the beach, and lots of amenities on property. The check-in process was a little confusing at first, and we had a small issue with the lock on our front door - but once we figured that out it was great! Highly recommend this property!

This was a very nice unit in a good location! We thought our actual unit backed up to the beach, but it didn't. But the beach was very close. The property was pretty and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again!

Location is amazing, right off the beach. Nice resort with good pool and hot tub. The unit is clean, The only thing worth noting is there are ants in the unit, as address in the property description, this is common with most places we've stayed by the beach. Just make sure to keep your food sealed up. Thanks for the great stay!

Been staying at North Coast for years, this location is by far our favorite. The unit was equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. However, the carpet, drapes and furniture were so disgusting. The fans they had available were either broken or filthy. Needs a deep clean for sure- otherwise it would be a 5 star place to stay.

this property was perfect for our family. It was close to the beach with minimal stairs. The beach on the north side of the property has less rocks and good walking. According to the teens, the waves are not as good for body surfing as the south side, but that is up for discussion. The unit was clean, modern. The king bed was really comfortable. The unit does not have left overs from other renters like some units do. There is salt, pepper, small bars of soap and that's it.
Knowing that helps with packing. Bring your own everything.

We are also Vacation Rental owners and know pleasing guests has its challenges. However, upkeep is a part of doing business. We started staying in this unit when it was first remodeled and it is a shame to see how much it has degraded in 5 years due to the lack of attention and high volume of guest traffic.
We have been going to NCV for 8 or 9 summers now. This was our 4th time in this particular unit. Overall this has been our favorite unit. However, this year's stay was a bit disappointing. There is a major lack of maintenance and cleaning. A couple of the portable fans don't work. The ones that do are covered in dust/grime. The carpet is dirty and falling apart by the hall bathroom. The carpet is frayed so much that the carpet nails are visibly protruding. I placed a rolled up towel there to remind my kids not to step there. The couch and blankets smell like they need a good cleaning. A button was missing off the dining bench and a piece of wire/metal was protruding. The master shower seal needs replaced. The master sink is missing a drain cover. The master toilet is loose and would move. One of the kitchen drawers is falling apart. A lot of the cookware looked dirty and beat up. A lot of the handles are starting to corrode due to the ocean air. The walls and baseboards could use a good cleaning and touch up paint. The outdoor patio table has really corroded and the finish is flaking off.
I really hope the owners decide to make the necessary repairs and do the upkeep needed as we do like the location and style of this unit. If not, we will have to start looking for a different one of similar style.

Check in was easy; We've stayed at NCV several times in the past 5 years and really enjoy the property - don't know that there is anything comparable on the beach in SoCal. The landscaping, water features and amenities are great - don't change those!!!; The view and location are ideal - would not trade that at all - almost perfect; The condo was clean; Didn't have some of the items like beach umbrellas and boogie boards that other places in the past had, but it was easy enough to rent or buy those and beach chair were included; Loved the bunk bed set up here in the second bedroom; Again, wish we could've stayed longer - Thanks for a great mini-vacation!

The pool was wonderful along with the game room. The property manager was great to work with; we had an issue with one of the beds and the handy man was there to fix it within an hour.

We absolutely loved this condo!! The view from the balcony was beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was nicely remodeled. The beds were extremely comfortable. We definitely want to stay here again.
