About this house rental
Situated in Los Olivos, this charming house for $629 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Casa Del Toro is ideally situated in the picturesque Santa Ynez Valley, in the quaint historical town of Los Olivos. Lined with turn of the century Victorian Architecture and old growth Oaks, Los Olivos hearkens to a bygone era. The only difference today is you can now embrace the unhurried pace and peaceful vibe while sampling award winning wines, a variety of top notch restaurants, and boundless opportunities to explore. This place is like the Napa and Sonoma of 30 years ago...but without the crowds and pretense. Casa Del Toro is situated on a beautifully landscaped 1/4 acre, just steps from numerous tasting rooms, restaurants, and galleries. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath retreat is perfect for couples and adult family gatherings. Living Room/Dining : When you enter the front door, the country feel is unmistakable, From the high ceilings and Hickory wood plank floors to the California country decor, this room sets a relaxed tone. There is ample comfy seating for 6-8 as well as an inviting fireplace adjacent from the country pine dining table.. There is also a 60" LED Smart TV for "Movie Night". Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen is located off the living/dining area and is exposed to the fire place as well. (6 burner gas cooktop, double oven, toaster, micowave, coffee machine/grinder) Master Bedroom: The master bedroom has a king size bed, in suite full bath, and opens to the front patio. The Master is located directly to the left when you enter the front door, while the other two bedrooms are across the house. This provides nice privacy and separation. Bedroom #2 and #3 are located off the dining area. Step down into a small vestibule and you will find bedroom 2 to the left and bedroom 3 to the right. The full "jack and Jill" bathroom is located between the bedrooms. Bedroom 2 and 3 each have a Queen sized bed. Bedroom # 2 has a slider to the back patio. The large lower flagstone patio with outdoor kitchen, string lighting and custom fire pit caters to those joyous gatherings the wine country is known for. NOTE: There is a pool onsite that is not part of the rental and is covered and locked off for safety and liability purposes.

We had a group of girlfriends for a wine tasting weekend and this property was perfect. We walked to coffee in the morning, dinner at night, and used the hot tub. We’d definitely stay here again!

We picked this location as a post Christmas R&R trip. The property was well maintained and stocked with everything you could need for entertaining. The aesthetic was nice and the property is a few minute walk to restaurants, wine tasting and shopping . Very comfortable … would recommend

Spent a fabulous weekend in this house. It’s right in the center of town. Gorgeous house and gorgeous yard. We spent both nights on the backyard enjoying dinner and sitting around the fire pit. Will definitely be returning!!!

Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Walking distance to charming downtown Los Olivos! Back yard was such a nice place to gather after a busy day. Did not use the pool, but the hot tub was a real treat! Perfect rental for 3 couples. Thank you!

This house is walking distance to lovely Los Olivos. Convenient for dining, shopping and wine tasting. The home was comfortable and well-equipped. However, it had not been occupied for a while before we came and there were some shortcomings in the preparation for our stay. The host swiftly dealt with the most pressing concern - no hot water in the kitchen - and we enjoyed the rest of our stay very much.

The owner was very nice and flexible, allowing us to check in early. The property was in a great location just a short walk to wine shops and restaurants.
The only issue was that we could not get the television in the master bedroom to work. The yard was not quite the same as the pictures but it was too cold to be outside anyway.

Plenty of room for all three couples, lovely outdoor space, and short walk into town for wine tasting and great meals. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to other folks looking to stay in town in Los Olivos!

It was a lovely little place tucked right in town. So easy to get to everything you would need or want. Had a lovely time experiencing the wine country and had an amazing dinner at Nella.

We were also unclear about the status of a working bbq but would be a great feature to include. The showers could be cleaner. And the toilets were difficult to flush. All in all a good option in Los Olivos for a family or 2-3 couples traveling together.

What a great place! This was my first time renting a VRBO and it was a good experience. The property was beautiful and house clean (my biggest concern). Los Olivos is such a charming little town.

50th birthday weekend getaway
The weekend was amazing! The house is in the perfect location to walk to wine tasting rooms and restaurants in Los Olivos. The town is small so you're never more than 10 minutes walk away from anything. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of seating for lounging inside and out. I appreciated the SmartTV so we could watch Netflix or whatever streaming channel you wanted at night. The garden is so pretty with lots of areas to hang out and enjoy the beautiful weather. Los Olivos does get quiet early, so having a great home like this to spend the evenings in makes for the perfect weekend. Also, I want to know what kind of mattress is on the bed in the master bedroom - so comfortable!

The property is as pictured, contemporary inside and beautiful outdoors. This was a three generation Mother's Day trip and the home provide everything we needed, close to town, a quiet neighborhood, and room outside for the young ones. We definitely will be returning.

Los Olivos Perfection
We are trying to plan our next trip now. It was the nest house we have ever stayed in through VRBO. Clean, well appointed and a perfect location. Great communication from the owner!

We loved the house as it was very close to town and was a clean and quaint home. Our wine tasting was cancelled due to CA regulations but one of the local wineries allowed us to visit their vineyard and do our own tasting there. A very nice and relaxing time!
