About this house rental
Situated in Saint George Island, this attractive house for $613 per night is a great option for your next break. This magnificent home has an open floor plan with warm, inviting decor and gorgeous views from the large sunlit great room. The pristine beach is a short walk away on the beach path next to the house, with no streets to cross. The great room features a vaulted wood beam ceiling and a gas fireplace. Two French patio doors lead to a large new Trex deck with a patio table and chairs where you can enjoy the beautiful view with your morning coffee. The dining area offers a big table and comfortable chairs. There is an exceptional kitchen with custom-built cabinets. Stainless steel appliances, wine fridge, granite counters, and a wet bar make meal preparation a breeze. It is well stocked for any chef. The upstairs laundry room provides a washer and dryer. Three master suites (2 king, 1 queen) - each with access to spacious decks have various bathroom amenities such as a jetted tub and a walk-in shower with double shower heads. 4th Bedroom has twin beds and its own bath and deck. A second living area can be used as an office or fifth bedroom with a daybed and trundle. Indoor entertainment is provided by TVs in every bedroom. There is a Playstation 4 console in the large living room and an XBox Console in the office/fifth bedroom. Other amenities include 2 WIFI networks, a high chair & port-a-crib for the little ones. Outside features include a private heated pool (a fee of $300/week to have heated), a hot/cold outdoor shower, a park style grill, and an outdoor sink with a fish cleaning station. There are several bicycles, 2 beach carts, beach towels, and plenty of other beach gear in the storage room. Stayed a week with family aged 2-78. The house accommodated everyone with private bathrooms and patios for each bedroom. Nicely equipped for infant and lots of beach accessories. The only issue was a missing screen on the porch and it was fixed in less than 24 hrs - great response! There is no elevator so make sure everyone can do stairs - kitchen / family room is on the top floor! Great place, beautiful neighborhood, not crowded beach with shallow sand bar. I wish we could have taken advantage of the wonderful walking/biking trails in neighborhood but it was way too hot.

We were very happy with the house and pool the 200 steps to the beach is miss leading. It's a good 350 or more on a path not very well maintained.

Very nice house with great layout for 6 adults and 4 children. Short walk to the beach on the nature trail was fine for all (even the 3 year old). Pool area was fantastic.

Loved the property. Lots of room, nice pool, and private deck for each room. Only problem for us was that it was crappy weather and would have like to been closer to the ocean with a view. Very good time!

We had a short walk to the beach and a private pool that was plenty big. The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook at home and we were in a beautiful part of the plantation. The drive in is gorgeous. Everything was freshly cleaned when we arrived and beds were very comfortable. We loved St George and will definitely be back soon!

This is the first time visiting St. George Island for my immediate family. We are beach/coast loving people and we were not disappointed! Exploring new locations is always exciting. The property was perfect for my family, 7 adults, 1 four year old, a 3 month old and small dog. I cannot say enough about the host and how accommodating he is. Very concerned that his renters have an enjoyable vacation. The house, pool, and surroundings give you that relaxed, tropical feel. Would highly recommend this property for anyone interested in renting, the whole process went so smoothly. Loved the relaxed, lay back feel of the town. Mary E.

This is a well kept, beautiful and secluded property with ready access to the beaches as well as to the many wooded walking paths on the plantation property. It was wonderful to wake to the roar of the surf and to look out into the surrounding woods to watch the bird life and the swaying pines. The home is comfortable and well laid out with everything needed for a stress free stay. I would highly recommend this rental for both small and large groups as, for several weeks, it was just my wife and I alone with other family staying for one week of our rental ... we did not feel "lost" in a house that was too big as the layout is quite cozy but we did not feel at all crowded when joined by 4 more adults and several toddlers.

This was exactly what we were wanting, a quiet respite from our crazy day to day life. October was a beautiful time to visit, water was a great temperature and the weather was perfect. Lots of shells to find on the beach which was a short walk from the property. There were lots of items in the storage closet to use for the beach. Plenty of space to spread out and lots of porches off of each bedroom which was ideal. We rode bikes that were in the closet and the kids loved swimming at the pool which was the perfect size and heated. Overall a great property and will definitely come back to SGI

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay this past week! It was our first time visiting St. George Island and we are so glad we decided to book here. The house was spacious and beautiful.. honestly the photos don’t do it justice. We loved the open floor plan of the kitchen, dining, and living room on the top floor. We had 6 adults, 2 infants and 1 toddler and the house easily accommodated all of our needs. The kitchen was well equipped and the washer and dryer came in handy to do some laundry during our stay. The beach was just a short walk away, and on days we wanted to hang at the house we spent our time enjoying the pool. The provided beach chairs, towels, bikes and pool toys were very convenient to have. There were also plenty of board games as well. Thank you Vlad for a relaxing stay, it really was As Good As it Gets!

The best part was the pool. Clean and well maintained. Also the garden was beautiful and well landscaped. Owner was very responsive and the local management company was excellent. The house was adequate for the month. All problems were quickly and efficiently dealt with. House is very noisy. No insulation in the floors

The house was beautiful and comfortable. Everyone had personal space to retreat to when desired, but we all spent most of our week together playing games and preparing meals in the main living area. The pool was a favorite gathering place morning, afternoon and night. The beach, a short stroll away, was great. All the beach toys you will need are available in the first floor storage area, including a great wagon for transporting them to the beach. We saw dolphins rolling along in the waves everyday!
I brought a spotting scope for watching dolphins, but we ended up using it more for star gazing.
I highly recommend this property. It is As Good As It Gets.

Beautiful house and lots of extra amenities! Bedrooms and kitchen/living area are spacious and kept clean. No need to bring beach items because this house has everything you need to head to the beach or use at the pool. Only drawback were mosquitoes but bug spray is easy to pack or buy at local store on the island.

Excellent communication with owner, great location, very short walk to beach, lots of beach toys including wagons to transport items to and from beach! Each bedroom had its own bathroom and private porch - very nice. Kitchen used frequently and most items needed were already there. Will be returning in future!

Just a short walk to the beach, this house had everything we needed! The pool was great. The closet full of beach goodies and bikes were awesome. The property owner is a true gem. The weather was wonderful all week, unfortunately, red tide on day 3 of our stay made beach time unbearable.
We were not able to go down to even walk the beach at all.

The last 2 days, we were able to go to the beach and enjoy the island fully. The walk is effortless and shaded almost the whole way. It takes about 2-3 mins and you don’t cross any actual road, just the bike path. There are few houses on this side of the island so there is plenty of room to have your own section of beach.

Vlad is the best host!
Myself and friends stayed at Plantation the last week of September into October. The house was wonderful and perfect for us with plenty of room and a great area for us to visit and discuss the day's activities. Vlad was so gracious as we had to move our reservation 3 TIMES because of covid issues and he moved our reservation graciously every time. So glad that we finally were able to experience this property! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful house with us! I would book it again!

All we were hoping for and more
Covid thru us a last minute curve that kept half of the family away—a big disappointment, but the rest enjoyed a wonderful week-long stay. The house was situated close to the beach which was great. We fished on the beach at dawn and dusk with good success, and the provided beach carts were invaluable. The privacy and seclusion of the Plantation community made for a wonderful beach experience. All in all it was a great family vacation. It was our first visit to St. George Island but I suspect not our last. Thanks all, for a memorable trip.

Family fun!
We had a great time! The description was right on, the beach was within walking distance and never crowded! Almost everything we needed for the beach was provided. The owner was quick to respond anytime we needed him and was very easy to work with when we needed to reschedule because of covid.
