As a first timer in the mountains of Gatlinburg, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect of the area or the rental but everything was beautiful! The cabin is conveniently located within 10 minutes of local stores should you need to restock on any personal belongings. Onsite accommodations are clean, spacious, and well maintained. The heated pool was a highlight of the stay! Our friends group all agreed we have to return in the Fall to experience the foliage from the wrap around deck located on the center level. Check-in/out process was simple and stress-free, and property management quickly responded to any inquiries we had. Overall perfect stay!

We had a wonderful time. The location is great with plenty of level parking. Convenient to the arts and crafts loop. The cabin was clean and everything was in working order. We had a early Thanksgiving dinner and the only thing we were missing was a second 9 by 13 casserole dish. The kitchen even a Kerrigan with 6 coffee pods! Pool has towels and restroom to change in the separate pool house. There's an alarm on the pool door that surprised us but it was easy to figure at (and there's instructions posted by the door). We enjoyed movies in the theater room. The recliners were extremely comfortable and there were super soft blankets on the rockers. We used the firepit with morning coffee. Theres not really a view from the balcony, just woods, but fairly private. We had older teens and young adults with us and all had a great time. The floors are squeaky, especially in the kitchen, so no sneaking around. Overall it's a great cabin with an awesome pool and amenities.

The cabin was excellent, the pool house and outside decks were perfect. We would NOT reserve this cabin again for two reasons: 1) every door and all the floors creaked loudly and 2) the kitchen was not well appointed with enough coffee cups, dishes, pots and pans or utensils.You would think the cleaning crew would have reported that the doors needed to be "oiled" and the floors were exceptionally creaky.

We had a great stay at Lumberjack Losge. The house was clean and ready when we arrived. The communication from the company was easy to follow and made check in easy. The house itself was perfect for our family with room for everyone to comfortably have their own space. We enjoyed using the hot tub. The kids loved the pool. The outdoor deck with a TV was perfect for relaxing and watching football. The location was also great and a short drive to downtown gatlinburg. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Thank you Elk Springs Resort for a wonderful Labor Day family weekend. Lumberjack Lodge did not disappoint. It brought our family together in a beautiful rustic atmosphere. We felt like we were staying in a treehouse. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our family reunion. Our vacation rental experience was wonderful. The pros outweighed the cons. Pros: We had enough room for everyone. Parking was spacious (we had 3 cars). Customer service was very informative, understanding and available. For activities we truly enjoyed the Diamond Heist Escape Room and the Alcatraz Museum!! Cons: For movie night the sound system wasn't as loud as we expected. There was a water bottle left in one of the movie seats. Instead of putting the top sheets on one of the beds,they were folded on the bed rail. Crumbs found in chair at dinning table. Despite the cons, we are looking forward to returning. :)

Nice cabin and plenty of room. Kids enjoyed the pool. The cleanliness of the cabin is not great. The bed sheets had hair and eyelashes on them. Dishes and spatulas had food still on them. The office handled it well and sent clean sheets.

The cabin was not cleaned as one would expect a hotel or vacation rental to be cleaned. There were sticky films on the night stands, flooring, and windows. The bedding is old and worn. The air hockey table had a broken paddle, the washing machine did not work, and there was a smoke alarm chirping because of a low battery.

We had a great visit at lumberjack cabin. It is in a great location ! Not far from Gatlinburg and about 30 minutes from pigeon forge. The beds are very comfy, plenty of room for your whole family to stretch out or hang together ! The only things I would change extra heater in bottom floor( we did everything they suggested but was still very cold) nicer bath towels and a different shower head or glass doors on shower upstairs very hard to keep all the water off the floor !

Amazing, our family had a fantastic time!!! The cabin is beautiful but the cleaning not so much. There were lots of cobwebs, cheese curls on and in the couch and the large windows in the living room were filthy. It was “surface “ clean only.Also, when we booked we were told that an indoor pool was being put in and could possibly be done when we arrived. We called the morning we were to check in to verify if it had been completed. We were told yes..... it was NOT! Very frustrating!! The staff we spoke to were very professional and friendly but apparently not very knowledgeable on the specifics of the property.

The cabin was spacious and very clean. All appliances worked and we had a great time. I would suggest an upgrade to the cookware to include some type of skillet. Also, renters need to know that the water gets extremely hot. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again. The porches were very inviting and relaxing.

The size of the cabin is perfect for two families. This was our second visit to Lumberjack Lodge however I do recommend some updates. The bathroom on the main level smelled of urine terribly upon arrival. The third level began to smell on day three. The bed sheets need to be replaced. We should have been told there was construction adjacent to the cabin. The rocking chairs on main level were encased in spider webs. There were multiple kitchen utensils dirty. The cabin was very clean on our first visit in 2011. This visit was disappointing from a cleanliness review.

Family vacation with 9 people. There were 5 bedrooms which made it nice. All king beds except one room with queen size mattresses. Price of rental was fair. On the day we checked in we were told the cabin was ready earlier than expected. When we go there we walked into a dirty cabin. Dirty soiled sheets, stained bed mattress covers, dirty tubs, broken kitchen sink stopper, black dirty broom (molded), dirty dishes, crud in the bottom of the kitchen trash can, toilet water leaking in the bottom bathroom, obvious fingerprints of previous guests on surfaces. Me and my family were totally and utterly disgusted. We wanted a refund , was told no. I was refunded $100 for the cleaning and they offered to resend out house keeping. So help me understand, if they did not do their job originally why in the hell would I ENT them to com out and try it again. I will never book through this site again. It is a bait and switch and the customers did stuck. My family and I were looking to have a great vacation and it was ruined from the moment we walked through the doors of the fact were staying

This cabin slept 13 people comfortably, 4 teens in the queen bunks, 2 adults to each of the king beds, 1 toddler on the pull out couch. Take blankets, the lowest level gets cold. Follow the instructions on the fridge, close the upstairs vents to make the lowest level warmer. The fireplace on mid level heats up real nice. Always latch the trash bin cage, had to clean that mess up early in the morning. There's plenty of dishes for all meals. Take extra dish towels and rags, there's only one or two. Take extra bath towels, 10 was not enough for all those people plus hot tub towels. Been with these cabins 9 years, always love them.

The cabin was great, modern appliances, WiFi was very spotty. Kids had a hard time with remote learning. Some areas didn't have Wifi at all. We had Verizon & T-Mobile phones which didn't have cellular service and WiFi calling was spotty also and not able to FaceTime. There are landlines phones provided. Our first day out the digital keypad didn't work to lock the door had to call maintenance which put us 2 hrs behind schedule. Two days later on next outing it didn't work again and had to wait an hr again. Tried cooking a Thanksgiving dinner, however the oven did not work properly. It would not heat at set temp took a few hrs before we realized this & had to set on 500° to reach a temp of about 350° which several dishes to bake dinner was finally done at 9pm. Lastly the grill was not cleaned. We used aluminum foil to BBQ. Thought it was a propane grill and was missing the tank but when maintenance came out on day 2 was informed it was a gas line grill. Wish this was stated in cabin info bc we planned to BBQ the first night. Other than that our family had a great time!
