Located in West Beach, this charming condo for $251 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. And we know that you will say 'WOW' too, when you walk into this professionally decorated condo and, immediately, cast your eyes on the incredible view of the ever-changing Gulf of Mexico. The surf and sand will beckon you to step out onto the balcony and ' take it all in'. You will see an endless stretch of sandy, white beach. You will see and hear the rolling waves as they rush to meet the beach. You will see families and friends playing in the water or sunning upon the beach. You will see a golden sunrise or a glowing sunset. You will see dolphins swimming East in the morning and returning Westward in the evening. You will see a kaleidoscope of stars at night or marvel at a lightning show that an occasional thunderstorm over the gulf may bring. The picture never stays the same, but you will see it all ~ from the balcony of this corner condo of Driftwood Towers. It was the view that hooked us, but we also know that you are looking for all the comforts of home as well, so we've furnished our condo with everything to make your stay comfortable. In the 2BR/2BA home away from home, you will find a TV and DVD in each bedroom. There is ceramic tile in the fully equipped kitchen as well as in the dining room, living room, and balcony. Both bedrooms are carpeted. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a window that boasts a view of the Gulf and a door that leads out to the balcony. It also has a private, full-size bath. The second bedroom has twin beds. This bedroom has a window that faces the Intercoastal Waterway. There is another full-size bath. There is also a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. From there, you can watch TV, listen to music, and gaze out at the ocean. The doorwall opens to a balcony that has a table and four comfortable chairs. All the sights and sounds of the Gulf are right there while you enjoy your meals. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the appliances and utensils that you might need to make your own culinary delights. The dining area can accommodate six guests comfortably. Or, you might want to visit some of Gulf Shores' finest eating establishments, many of which are within walking distance. Bahama Bob's is right next door~best burgers, seafood, and tropical drinks on the beach! For your convenience, the condo is also equipped with a washer and dryer, iron/ironing board, and a vacuum. All linens and towels are provided. Driftwood Towers is a well-built, six story building(less people= uncrowded beach) There is a beautiful pool and extensive lounging area(you can relax and watch the kids swim and swim). Two outdoor showers and foot washes are available, as well as 2 communal BBQ areas. Driftwood Towers is located just West of Hwy.59 and is within walking distance of, along with the restaurants, four large souvenir shops, several other 'quaint and 'quirky' little shops, and a small grocery/party store. Since it is located west of Hwy.59, it is in a less congested area of Gulf Shores. So... look no further. The key to this vacation get-away is yours. Contact Tim and Vicki. The pictures shown are accurate to the condo. Views were beautiful from the balcony. Kitchen was very well stocked also the bathrooms had plenty of linens and toilet paper. Beds are comfortable and we slept so well. The master bedroom and a private bathroom. The other bedroom's bathroom was located in the hallway. Plenty of parking and it was free. Elevators to all levels which was so handy since we were on the 4th floor. I would highly recommend this condo without hesitation. This condo is closed to restaurants and shopping.

It was very clean the view was beautiful and the host was amazing. He was Johnny on the spot with answering any questions that I had . However it was a smidgen of a let down that the pool was closed because that was really a selling point for me but other than that it was an absolutely wonderful property and enjoyed every minute of it.

We loved the view from the balcony. The condo is very comfortable and stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. We had a little issue with the TV. We called Tim and he took care of the issue very quickly. We highly recommend this vacation property.

Took my parents for my dad's 79th birthday. The view is spectacular. The building has been there for a minute, but this condo has been updated. Very clean and an easy, short walk to the beach. I highly recommend and would love to stay again.

2 Adults & 2 Teens, we enjoyed watching dolphins every morning from the 4th floor balcony! Beds were comfy. Kitchen fully stocked. I did have to run to the store for paper towels and coffee filters. Owner easy to communicate with via email and cell. We had a small doorknob issue, owner was quick to call a locksmith for us! Loved having two bathrooms as well as washer and dryer. Walked across the street for pizza and ice cream. Couple blocks to souvenir shops. About 4-5 blocks walk-able to The Hangout. We did not use the pool, but hit the beach everyday. Elevators are a bit old, we preferred stairs. Wifi & AC worked well. Decor was beachy. Hope to return to the Driftwood SOON!

Property is exactly as shown in the pictures. Beds were very comfortable; kids loved having separate beds in their room; very clean in the condo; and we felt like they had just about any kitchen appliance/utensil that you could want. Communication with Tim was excellent. Easy access to the beach. The location of the building in relation to everything else in Gulf Shores is really good. If you are looking for a new fancy looking building/condo, then this is probably not it. However, if you are looking for a comfortable quiet place to stay with great value, then this is a great place to stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Every year we visit Gulf Shores and have always had our camper in tow with us. This is not the first time we have stayed in a condo but it was the first time we have stayed at Driftwood. The condo was great, Tim’s room in particular was absolutely perfect. Our teenagers walked to the Hangout EVERY night and they likewise enjoyed the stay. We will certainly keep Tim’s place on our “short” list of places to stay if we condo it again. Tim was on the spot with communication and we did not have any issues with anything so I can’t give a review on anything else.

Our stay was great! We had the best time, we were able to walk down to the beach to see the fireworks from the pier. The condo was clean, had plenty of items to cook there. We couldn’t get one of the toilets to flush and I messaged Tim. He immediately called me and someone came to fix it. He notified me when they would be there. The communication was great. I would highly recommend this condo.

We were very pleased with our stay. The unit was very comfortable and accurate to the description. We spent a lot of time on the balcony taking in the gorgeous views. The rental process was easy, the owner was very responsive with detailed information, and the condo was very clean. The location was very near the Gulf Shores public beach access with great walking areas adjacent to the beach. The condo is right on the beach where you can open the sliding glass door and hear the ocean waves crash on the beach. We definitely hope to return soon!

Had a great stay here...exactly what I wanted for a personal get-away while visiting family. Condo building is a little bit older than others nearby, but still in excellent shape. Location is perfect, about half a mile from the Ala59/Gulf Shores Blvd. intersection. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed: pots, pans, utensils, etc., which was great. Owner reached out in plenty of time with info and was quick to respond to any questions/info. Enough of the basics were there (paper towels, TP, dish soap, etc.) that I didn't have to pick any up at the store—it's a small thing, I know, but greatly appreciated. New buildings have been built adjacent to Driftwood Towers to the east in the past year or so, fortunately with only minor impact. It's a great view of the beach with the sound of the waves from the balcony. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Breathtaking view! Seeing the ocean right out our window was amazing! The place was clean and comfortable. The owner of the property was lightning quick getting back to me when I had a question. Check in process was easy. There were lots of restaurants around and a delicious ice cream spot. We even saw dolphins from our balcony! Just a dream vacation. Would rent this again without a doubt. Oh. The pool was also clean and wonderful. You can see the ocean while you swim.

The condo was perfect for our family! Very clean! Plenty of room for the family to spend time together! A BEAUTIFUL view!! The owner was VERY helpful and quick to respond! The only thing is the pull out couch was pretty uncomfortable! The kiddos slept there so it wasn’t that big of a deal, we just laid a few blankets down for them! We had the BEST vacation and I’m so happy we was able to stay in this condo! Everything was such an easy process! I would say a 10/10 if your looking for a great get away!

We enjoyed our stay at Driftwood Towers. The two bedroom condo was great for my husband and I, and our three children (6, 3, and 4 months). The condo is a few steps from the beach and has a great pool on the ocean side of the building. There were several other families staying there, and my kids enjoyed playing with the other children during our time there. We also enjoyed checking out several nearby restaurants, mini golf, and nearby shops. The owner, Tim, was great at communicating, especially when he let us know the day before we were expected to arrive that a new dryer was to be delivered the day following our arrival. The beds in the condo were also super comfortable. We were informed that the ice maker was broken prior to our arrival, however two bowls of ice were left in the freezer for us. This was our first time visiting Gulf Shores, and we definitely plan to return.
