Located within the premises of the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort gated community with access to restaurants, two 18-hole golf courses, 13 har-tru courts operated by Peter Burwash International, bicycle trails, plenty of water sports, hiking, casino, live entertainment, beauty salon, business center, concierge, and shopping boutiques. The grounds have beautiful, lush, tropical gardens.
If you like golf, just take any Wyndham Rio Mar Resort's shuttle and you will be in less than five minutes in the Golf Club House where you may play at Greg Norman's 6945-yard River Course and Tom and George Fazio's 6487-yard Ocean Course with its famous oceanfront 16th hole.

The view is spectacular. The property is very nice with multiple pools, ocean swimming, volleyball, tennis, golf courses, and access to workout facilty in the casino. The kitchen was adequate but honestly did not cook very much because there are numerous great local restaurants. The beds were comfortable and unit was well kept. Super comfy furniture on the deck, which was my favorite spot. Very close access to the rain forest and luminescent bay.This was our 2nd stay at the Ocean Villas and definitely will come back again. Thank you for sharing this great unit.

The location and amenities made for a perfect island vacation. Steps away from both the pool and beach meant that our group (ages 9 to 80) was never bored and could move across activities with ease.

The best part of this rental was its location within the resort. The resort property itself is beautiful, quiet, and well-maintained. We enjoyed the beaches, casino, café, and pools. The villa pools were clean and pleasant, although they were typically serviced around 11 a.m., which was right when many guests wanted to use them.Unfortunately, the villa itself was disappointing, especially considering the premium price. Check-in instructions were limited, and arriving at 11:30 p.m. made it difficult to determine which building to go to, where to park, and where to unload our luggage.The unit was much older and more worn than the listing photos suggested. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. The AC in the double-queen bedroom did not cool properly despite being set to 60 degrees. Maintenance came the next day and attempted a repair, but the room remained uncomfortably warm. The living room AC worked better, but the exterior unit on the balcony generated significant heat, making that space less enjoyable.The unit was generally clean, and the beds were comfortable. However, the microwave was very dirty upon arrival.Overall, we loved the resort but felt the villa did not provide good value for the price paid. Had the rate better reflected the condition of the unit, our review would likely be more favorable.
