Situated in Hitchcock, this lovely house for $208 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Comfortable beach home located in the well-kept Pirate Beach Subdivision. From the deck, you can feel the cool coastal breezes and take in the gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico. Sunbathe, swim, or just enjoy the sand and water. You are in the first block, and the beach is just four houses down. You can rinse the sand off in the outdoor shower plus there is a half bath located at the ground level in the laundry room. Also, on the ground floor, there is a patio area with chairs and a barbeque grill. An open concept—kitchen, living and dining area with large breakfast bar—are located on the first floor with three bedrooms (2 queen beds and 2 twin beds) along with two full baths. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots/pans, and small appliances as well as dishcloths and dish towels. Sheets and towels are provided for bedrooms and baths to accommodate six guests. The futon in the living area is available for additional guests if needed.

The house was beautifully located in a quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors! It had everything you could think of that you would need and more! Talk about stocked! If you are looking for a brand new house this is not the house for you. Everything was a nice shape and had a lot of character! The view was lovely and a very short walk to the beach that you can see from both the deck and bedroom number two! We would definitely return!

Cute little house, very clean. Awsome view of ocean from 2nd bedroom. Owner was very nice and sweat when i couldnt figure out how to get the front door open(lol).. Had lots of extra essentials that i forgot.

Love the location of the house to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Stairs are an issue for elderly/handicapped. And, twin mattresses in bedroom were hard. Would have loved a table out on the patio to enjoy the sea breezes. Rich and Betty are great hosts and responded quickly to questions. They have good suggestions for shopping and restaurants .

We really enjoyed walking four houses down to the beach. The owner was very responsive when there was a check in issue and immediately fixed the problem.

You can not beat this location for the price. It was 4 driveways from the beach! The air conditioning unit was awesome, kept it very cool in this hot Texas week. Washer/dryer downstairs , beach chairs, toys, umbrella, and plenty of seating on the deck. Host was receptive to any questions. Local restaurants, Waterman’s was good and had relaxing views of the bay and only maybe a mile away. Pirates Beach is a quiet neighborhood . I won’t think twice about coming back.

My family stayed at the beach house for seven nights in July. While the weather was hot outside, the air conditioning inside kept us nice and cool. There was plenty of room for four adults and two teenagers. What I particularly liked: Loved the wrap around porch. There were plenty of channels on the television. The house was really clean. Nice washer and dryer. There was a touchpad lock on the front door so we didn’t have to worry about losing a key at the beach. There were pots and pans for cooking. There were basic amenities such as ziplock bags and aluminum foil in the kitchen. There were plenty of towels for the beach and for showers. We would stay there again.

The sand shack beach house is a comfortable 3/2 with great proximity to the beach. The neighborhood and beach environment is family friendly and provided a terrific environment for our beach vacation. The host was very accommodating and helpful, we would definitely love to return in the future.

Everything was as described. Very short walk to the beach. House was very well stocked. My only complaint was the beds. They are very stiff. Other than that, my family and I enjoyed our stay.

Perfect beach house for a family getaway. Comfortably sleeps 6. Lots of the amenities and little things that seem to be missing from vacation rentals these days. Away from the busier areas but an easy drive to anywhere. We will definitely look to stay here the next time we visit Galveston!

This was a great home! My kids enjoyed everything about it. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the quick jaunt to the beach. Made it easy for bathroom breaks and running back home for things. 10/10 would book again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was great to the beach. The home was well stocked for a family including kitchen spices and utensils, beach items, garbage bags, toilet paper etc. All the things so we didn't need to worry about bringing or going out and purchasing more. Not all VRBOs keep things so well stocked, that was a very nice bonus. We had one power issue, due to a storm and not the property, but the manager was on top of responding and keeping us as up to date as they could while that happened. Home matched listing, the price was great for what we needed! If in Galveston area again we would definitely stay and recommend to others.

This is a great place for family. We cooed great seafood, did puzzles and walked the beach. The weather caused some headaches ( frozen pipes) and the owners responded by sending a very competent repair person who handled the problem.

This was a short stay with my sister, daughter and Grandson. The property was perfect for the 4 of us but would accommodate more. Very clean and so much to offer. Near beach, great deck, fully equipped with everything you need for a great stay. We will be going back.

This house is just steps from a quiet section of the beach. It was perfect for 2 couples. House was well appointed and had everything we needed. Common bathroom shower is pretty tight with very little room to maneuver and the mosquitoes prevented enjoying the spacious deck. Otherwise everything was fantastic.

We booked this location on a whim. We will always book this location now! Everything was PERFECT, from location, amenities, comfort, bedding, bathrooms, etc. the super short distance to the beach was great! The AC stayed nice and cold. Plenty of beach items to use. So clean, so comfortable, and we felt very safe.
