About this cabin rental
Located in Apex, this attractive cabin for $250 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. (***We are not set up at this time as a wedding venue***) Log Cabin - This cabin sets on a little more than 3 acres of land overlooking a pond in the front and a field in the back. Located not far from the city but with the feel of the country. There is a covered front porch with two tables. In the back of the cabin is a small covered porch with gas grill. This cabin is fully furnished. It has a country kitchen that features an old style gas ceramic stove. There is a pantry that is stocked with spices and a washer and dryer room. There is a dining room that has a table that sits 6 - 8 people. In the living room is a stone fire place and mantle. There is a beautiful wooden architectural desk (this was our Uncle Marvin's design desk), a table with 4 chairs, bonded leather sofa with recliners, love seat with recliner and rocking recliner. TV, blue ray player, CD player, internet, cable. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. The master bed room has a queen bed, night stand, dresser with mirror. Also in the master bedroom is a full sized bathroom with shower and walk in closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed with closet, dresser, lounge chair and small table and TV with Blueray/DVD . The third bedroom has a bunk bed. It also has an additional single bed. The loft has a rocking chair and lounge chair with ottoman for reading. Displayed on the wall is a beautiful quilt that was made by our great grandmother. The front porch features several tables and chairs for outdoor enjoyment. Outside there is a simple fire pit for roasting marshmallows by the pond. You are welcome to go fishing as long you clip the barb from your hook and throw the fish back. It was my son and his best friend and my girl best girlfriend. It was a weekend to get away and play games. Have a little fire is and eat some Brunswick stew. The house was perfect reminded us of a place we used to stay when the kids were little was clean everything was there that we needed to make food and enjoy each other’s company and stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay. The decor and the surrounding area were rustic, but the house was well provisioned and the location was close to "civilization." We hope to return in the future!

Kids and spouse spent hours fishing in the pond. Reading spaces on the porch or swing. Comfy beds . Just about anything you would need to prepare a meal. We didn’t hit up restaurants at all. Enjoyed every second of this charming place. Loved the western theme, too. Perfect!

4 ole friends from college met for long weekend. We spent a lot of time on the front porch listening to and watching area wildlife as we caught up. Evenings dining in and sitting in front of the fireplace. Awesome cabin, highly recommend!

The whole stay and experience was better than expected. Check in, communication with the owners, close location to groceries, shopping and restaurants was all beyond easy and convenient. The house had everything we needed so the extra paper products, toiletries, hand soap and detergent we bought were not needed. It’s a warm and welcoming place and we would stay here again without hesitation. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and they decorated the house for Christmas including a live Christmas tree. It made our holiday week so special.

No idea how this peaceful neighborhood has managed to survive the sprawl but it was great to get to enjoy the spacious yard, pond and privacy, so near to our family in Apex. We came down for a family wedding and were only looking for something more affordable than three rooms at a hotel but completely lucked out with this booking! This house is to log cabins what glamping is to camping — beautiful and woodsy but with AC and a dishwasher😇 looks remote but we easily had groceries and takeout delivered. The kids loved playing cornhole and checking out the paddle boat and canoe. There was a dedicated toy and game closet with baby gates and some awesome open fish tanks on both porches the kiddos were absolutely mesmerized by. The tented structure with Edison bulb strands and fire pit were super cool, though we didn’t get a chance to make much use of them. The tree in the side yard attracted all kinds of butterflies and hummingbirds… even in bonkers heat, it was idyllic. We met the owner on our first evening and couldn’t have been kinder or more welcoming. We loved our stay and hope our travels will take us this way again!

Our family and dog enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was clean and comfortable and we had plenty of room. It is just minutes from downtown Apex. It was also just a short distance to PNC arena, which was nice since we were in the area for a hockey game. We hope to stay here again when we are in the area.

Definitely a great place to reconnect with nature. We took full advantage of the lake and outdoor property. And our dog had the best time of his life. The dog run out the back porch was amazing for him and us to let him off leash.

We had a wonderfully relaxing time at the cabin. Beautiful very quiet setting. A little problem with the water pressure was handled right away. Will definitely be back when it’s warmer to check out the pond fishing!

Definitely a great place to reconnect with nature. We took full advantage of the lake and outdoor property. And our dog had the best time of his life. The dog run out the back porch was amazing for him and us to let him off leash.
