Located in Everett, this lovely condo for $275 per night is a great option for your next trip. Character and history abound in this utterly charming duplex furnished apartment, in metro Boston near Logan Airport. Awarded for outstanding achievement in historic preservation, the apartment has been completely renovated with loving care, incorporating architectural details and décor that hark back to the building’s rich history as a firehouse. The rooms are chock full of nooks and crannies and charm galore. The gleaming hardwood floors and 11 foot ceilings give an airy, spacious feel as a family friendly vacation rental for Boston visitors. The open concept first floor features a fully equipped kitchen with beautiful wood cabinets and a living room area with flat screen TV and desk area perfect for computer time. There is also a ½ bath and a full bed in a corner away from the living room area. The second floor has two bedrooms with queen beds and a full bath WITH CLAW FOOT TUB AND SHOWER. Central air keeps you comfortable in summer, and environmentalists will appreciate the solar heated water and eco-friendly products. Located close to biking and hiking trails, playgrounds and state parks (bike storage provided). 4 blocks to the bus or 20 minute walk to public transit, or drive and park to another metro in 10-15 minutes. All take you Boston’s historic sites, Tufts University and MIT. History buffs will delight. (NOTE: STAIRS TO BEDROOMS A LITTLE STEEP.) Off street parking for one car, must be reserved. We had such a great experience at Chez Fuego. Not only was the space beautiful, clean and comfortable but the owners were so friendly and helpful. We were close to wverything yet away from all the big city traffic. Thank you so much for everything and making this stay so relaxing.

This gorgeous restored Firehouse was a perfect getaway for our group of adults. The property is maintained beautifully and the owners provide everything needed. The beds we’re comfortable, the house was spotless! The owners had great advice on how to ride the train and commuter rail. They also provided great advise on places to eat and things to do. The location is perfect whether your visiting Boston or adventuring to Salem! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

The property was clean, had everything we needed, great location. Close to the commuter rail, 30-45 minute drive to Salem (depending on traffic). The owners greeted us upon arrival and gave a tour of the property. They have a folder with directions to the commuter rail, restaurants and places to visit. The owners do live in the apartment that is connected to the property but we never knew they were there. We really enjoyed the property, it is beautiful. Property is just as described.

The unit is very big, but still cozy. It is part of a beautifully restored old firehouse which makes it a unique stay. Easy parking in the driveway. Quiet. Short drive into downtown Boston. We really enjoyed our stay.

As advertised....clean and organized. Loved the fire station and owners were good to work with. Stairs can be a challenge, so you must be fit and able to climb a bit, but manageable. Owners were easy to work with. Would stay again.

This refurbished fire house was charming. Clean, comfortable and roomy. Close to Salem. It was a great get away. Owners pleasure to work with and we were kept informed and greeted for a walk through.

We spent a week exploring Boston for my Mom’s 80 birthday 🎉 Malden was the perfect home base for everyone to gather! The firehouse was fantastic!

We stayed 6 days with friends two couples. Rented a car, drove to Salem, Newport Rhode Island, and Cape Cod. We also visited Fenway Park for a game. We did take one day to visit the downtown area. We used the rail system in and out of the city, no issues would recommend. Overall fun time Firehouse and property managers pleasant and easy to work with.

Our stay was great, hosts were amazing. They have info and brochures of the surrounding areas of stuff to do. Great central location to attend a ballgame at Fenway Park or taking a day trip to the Plymouth or Salem. We would definitely stay here again.

We were very warmly greeted by both the owners who were both super friendly. Neighborhood was quiet, place was clean. Some VERY cool old cemeteries to check out that were very close by. After looking around for places around Boston, this one caught my eye, one because my husband's daughter was graduating in Manchester, she also works for the fire department so we thought we would surprise her with this property. She loved the place and so did we. Loved the history behind this place. It was quiet, very clean and we felt safe. Jon and Lisa, thank you for an amazing home away from home. We enjoyed our stay and thank you for being great hosts and always being on top of communicating with us. I've worked in the travel industry for 30 years and that is always the key for a great experience. May others have the same experience we had.

We loved our stay at ChezFuego! Perfect restoration complete with charm, interesting decor, perfectly creeky floors, and space! 6 of us stayed comfortably and enjoyed every square inch! Definitely check out the restoration website!

We were looking for a place to stay for a Thanksgiving getaway with my husband, his daughter, and her two kids. Since he is a former fire chief, I knew instantly when I saw this rental that it would be the perfect place. The owner response prior to arrival was exceptional. When we arrived it was dinner time on Thanksgiving, Jon greeted us and showed us the house and answered our many questions about the history and restoration of the house. We settled in for dinner and a relaxing evening. The beds were all very comfortable. Everything was spotless. There wasn’t anything we needed although they offered that if we needed anything to give them a call. Extremely generous considering it was Thanksgiving. We spent the next day in Boston at the Children’s Museum (great for kids 6 and under) and the following day in Salem. Everywhere we wanted to go was about 30 minutes which makes it a great launching pad for area attractions. Our grandchildren couldn’t wait to get back to the firehouse every day to settle into the comfortable couch and watch Netflix! Thank you to the owners for making this Thanksgiving one we will always remember. Book this place! You won’t regret it.
