Located in Sussex County, this lovely cottage for $210 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. 800 Sq. Ft. cottage on the edge of Red Mill Pond near Lewes. Pond view and plenty of privacy. Located on a one lane development with quick access to Coastal Hwy which is the main artery to beach Just minutes from downtown Lewes, seven miles from Rehoboth Beach and tax-free shopping at the outlets, and over 100 restaurants. Relax on the front porch after your day in the sun or in the Adirondack chairs in the back yard sand. This light and airy retreat comfortably sleeps two, Fully furnished large upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and armoire. Downstairs consists of the living area, kitchen, dining area, bathroom and closet space. Kitchen is completely stocked with coffee pot, microwave, stove and all dishes and pans needed to cook your own meal. Although air-conditioned throughout, the cottage rarely needs more than an opening of the numerous windows to let the summer breeze cool you. Flat screen smart TV with your streaming channels, free Wi-Fi internet access. Escape the confines of condo living and hotel rooms for the freedom of your own cottage near the beach. The cottage was just as I expected it to be - quaint, cozy, close to the beach and everything a person could want for a Fall getaway. I had cancer last year and the first 6 months of this year were very stressful and I just needed to get away from everyone and everything.
I walked on the Lewes beach every morning and evening, enjoyed the front porch for relaxing in the evenings and basically was able to de-stress and enjoy my own company.
I lived in Lewes during the summers I was in college so I am very familiar with the area. If I decide to do this again next year and the cottage is available, I'll be back.

Perfect size for two people. Traffic noise is definitely an issue if you want to sit outside. We had to turn the fan on upstairs to drown out the traffic noise in order to sleep. Location is convenient to downtown Lewes. Cute cottage.

No towels, no dishwasher, no washer/dryer, no privacy. The highway sound from route 1 is constant. Very difficult to get in and out due to poor visibility and no turning lane. 1 friend visited, stayed 1 night and we had to move her car so i I could drive. I was emailed by the owner to get back to her ASAP as the people monitoring the house found there was too much coming and going, suspicious for too many people staying in the home. It was me, one friend who stayed one night. Completely creepy and inaccurate. Choose another place.

I highly recommend this property and location. The cottage is gorgeous and has all the amenities of home. We went to Cape Henelopen during the day enjoyed both the ocean and the bay views. Spent time on the boardwalk in Rehoboth as well. We also enjoyed sitting out on the front porch and enjoying morning time together.

The cottage is lovely for a stay in the Lewes/Rehoboth Beach area. We loved the porch and sitting outside in the rocking chairs watching the birds. There is a nice back yard with a fire pit, tiki torches, and a grill. Bed is small but comfortable. Nicely designed and beachy-like. All you need for cooking. Only negative is it’s very close to the highway so you hear the roar of the constant traffic. If you are looking for perfect silence, this isn’t the spot. We placed our speaker towards the road and turned up the music which helped. Overall great though and we would stay there again.

This cottage met my best of wishes! I love going to the beach in the fall but still try to avoid the crowds and the traffic. Located just off the coastal highway—admittedly a bit of a challenge to enter or exit—but well short of the first congested intersection, this place offered a quiet, relaxing getaway, with fairly easy access to downtown Lewes, its beaches and Cape Henlopen. Well appointed and nicely arranged, it offered just the right comforts for a solo traveler like me, or a great getaway for a couple. Joanne was an exemplary host and made me feel like a VIP. Highly recommended!

This is such a great property. Fire pit, grill and Adirondacks in the back. The inside is so comfortably decorated. It bright and airy.

Just enough
This cottage was super easy to get to ( although the address is Pondview Drive and the street you turn off of is Red Mill Manor). Once we realized this, its right off of route 1, close to route 9 , town of Lewes and close to Rehoboth . The house is just right for a couple. The bed was comfortable, the house had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the little touches the owner provider ( like a lighted makeup mirror). We would definitely consider staying here again!

Cottage was super cute and beautifully decorated. It was an easy drive to Lewes. We were surprised no paper towels were provided and only one trash bag was there for the week. Otherwise, we had a great time and would recommend this cute cottage

Amazing get away place
This was a very nice get away place. Very very clean, close to the restaurants, shops and beaches. Very nice to have a fire pit in the evenings and front porch in the mornings . We will come back for sure! The hostess Joanne was very nice and accommodating!!

This cottage for two was the perfect place for a short getaway for my husband and me. The cottage is cozy and the owner very friendly and helpful. It’s near to Lewes and Rehoboth beaches, depending on your preference. Lewes is quieter than Rehoboth. The shops in Lewes seem to close early, not open in the evening, so we missed those. Great bike trails and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Beautiful!
We had a fabulous stay in the cottage! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Location was amazing and within minutes of everything in town. On a quiet street with peace and tranquility. We came to Lewes for our Honeymoon and loved it so much - We plan on making it our yearly vacation spot!

Owners dont check into things before new people book so beware before you get accused of something someone else did. I was honest and told her i broke a jar and then Joanne went ahead and accused me of other things i did not do, including breaking a ceiling fan so she could keep my deposit. Beware.

Cozy Cottage
This cottage for two was the perfect place for a short getaway for my husband and me. The cottage is cozy and the owner very friendly and helpful. It’s near to Lewes and Rehoboth beaches, depending on your preference. Lewes is quieter than Rehoboth. The shops in Lewes seem to close early, not open in the evening, so we missed those. This place is absolutely phenomenal! Such a cute little place to just getaway in for a week or even weekend! The maps does get confusing when finding it, but it gets you directly there! So cozy, and clean! Such a peaceful area, we loved staying, and would definitely return!

Yard is immaculate. Driveway convenient . Porch is charming. Hostess contacted us of a potential tornado , very thoughtful .

In fact, there was no street sign listing the street for the property address. The numbers for the property were black metal, on a dark brown post. We got out of the car and walked up to the porch so we could read the numbers. They matched the numbers for the property, but the only way that we could verify that this was indeed the right place was to key in the access code. I strongly recommend that the owner provide precise directions in the check-in information and paint the street numbers yellow or white, so that they can be read. It would also help to put the name of the street on the front door, since there is no street name on that street.
