About this condo rental
Nestled in Wailea, this lovely condo for $227 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Ours is a one bedroom condo, on the top corner (2nd floor) of building #3, which is the second floor of a concrete building. The unit has a full kitchen and amenities. Our Lanai is a good size with ocean and beach views and there is a nice table and chairs on the lanai where we eat most meals. We have recently fully renovated our condo (down to the studs in every room) which means it is brand new. It is furnished with high-end appliances and furniture etc. Our bathroom is completely tiled with a very spacious shower, and all new towels etc. Kamaole beach II is directly in front of us, about 100 yds from the door. The pool and laundry room are about 100 ft. away. Restaurants and shops are 1/2 a block away. Our complex, Kihei Kai Nani, was one of the first two Kihei resorts built in the seventies. They could have chosen any of the beaches for miles around, but they chose Kamaole II, what more to say? Actually I should comment on our decision to not install a dishwasher, washer and dryer, We have been visiting our first condo in Kihei Kai Nani for about 35 years now, and have never felt the need for such appliances. Two people can surely wash dishes in a large double sink, and a washer and dryer take up a lot of space, and are very expensive to operate with Maui electricity costs. They give off heat, they are noisy, and they can leak and need repairs. When the laundry room is steps away, beside the pool where you often meet other vacationers, it is a no brainer. In our opinion, A/C in Hawaii is generally not necessary,, but we have installed quality units.for those that desire it, I have owned my 1st condo in Kihei Kai Nani for 35 years and have never lost a guest due to not having the appliances aforementioned. Finally, if you are looking for the cheapest deal, in KKN, then ours is not it, but I do believe for a few dollars more, we will give you the best deal for your money,

Very good location, it was nice to have a view of the ocean and sunset from the balcony. Close to beaches and shopping. Nice pool and friendly maintenance people. Great communication from host for small repairs that were needed. Would prefer a softer bed

We had the most amazing stay in this condo. The view each morning/day/night was incredible and the condo was well appointed for our stay. I appreciated the quick communication from the owner and would definitely stay here again!

Bob's condo is clean and well equipped for a beautiful stay in a perfect location! Walking distance to shops and restaurants, right across the street from the beach. Saw whales breaching in the distance right from the balcony!! Would 110% recommend this place to anyone visiting Maui, was an excellent base to explore the island and very reasonably priced for all that it offers. Thanks!!

Robert is a very attentive host, he sent everything on time and took care of everything! The Apartment in the best location in Kihei with a beautiful view of the ocean, we watched all the sunsets! The condo is very clean, comfortable and well stocked with kitchen items/pots and pans. The ocean view from the lanai was wonderful. We enjoyed the stunning sunsets! This condo is truly in a great location. Many restaurants to choose from and shopping close by. A minute walk and you are sitting on the gorgeous sandy Kamaoele II beach! We appreciated Bob’s quick responses and clear communication. A pleasure to deal with. Easy check in process. We will be back!
(only con) Garbage/delivery trucks arrive between 3-6am at the restaurants next door. They are loud. But we were able to get back to sleep when they left.

My husband, toddler and I had the best holiday in Kihei in large part because of our stay at this condo. We loved it so much that we hope to make this an annual trip! The highlights:
Location/walkability: couldn’t have been better. Directly across the street from a world class beach; a very short walking distance from a general store, restaurants, snorkel/water sport equipment rentals, and health food store; within blocks of an ABC store; and ~30 minute walk to Foodland. The best part is that the condo has a view of the water and sunset in the evening!
Pool: great sized pool that was never crowded and always had lots of seating available.
Cleanliness/comfort: the unit was clean and had cleaning supplies and vacuum available to clean up any residual sand brought in from the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with kitchenware and Tupperware which made cooking and storing leftovers very convenient. The unit included a cooler backpack that was very handy for packing lunch/snacks for our daily outings. Beach chairs and an umbrella were also including which offered comfort at the beach and prevented us from having to rent these items. While AC wasn’t required during our entire stay, it was a luxury to have during some of the hottest afternoons when my toddler was napping.
Responsiveness: Bob was a delightful host and very prompt with his responses and with providing information.
We can hardly wait to return and make more memories! So grateful.

EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER WANT! Sunset View from Lanai, very comfy bed, easy and wonderful communication with hosts, everything in the kitchen was excellent for cooking and the condo is soooo very close to awesome shopping and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. I had an amazing stay. Mahalo.

Very enjoyable; liked having the locking screen door, nice balcony, good location. The AC was nice, very hot days outside. The surfaces were somewhat dirty so we needed to do some cleaning, but that may have simply been due to the unit not having being rented for a long time, and dust and dirt settling from the air after the last cleaning?

Listing was as described. Bob had great communication. We had a nice time cooking breakfast in the pretty well stocked kitchen, and eating on the Lanai facing the ocean. An added bonus were the beach chairs, beach cooler & umbrella. We walked to a few places to eat, and packed lunch for a day at the beach. All in all a great stay.

Very clean rental unit with plenty of power plugs and modern upgrades. AC available but you won't need it, just crack a window open for cool air. Great location next to beach parks, local restaurants/cafes, ABC store and gas. Great view of ocean. Free parking next to unit but there's enough to do in Kihei that you won't need a car. 25 min from North Maui, easy drive. Bob was very helpful and communicative and has lots of recommendations.

Our accommodations in Hawaii have ranged from tents to resorts and our favorite type has been a place like this. It's the personal touches that make your trip so much better. Firstly, the condo is thoughtfully decorated and has a nice beach vibe. Second, accessories like beach chairs, umbrella, and a backpack cooler are super convenient. The timers on the AC are a nice touch too. Last, but not least, is the location. It's a quick walk to the beach across the street and we spent several evenings watching the sun set or just lounging there. Kihei has more to offer since we were last there 12 years ago. Not far from the condo is South Maui Gardens which is a nice place to stroll with coffee and food carts. The host is very responsive and he puts care into ensuring you enjoy your stay. We'll be back!

Have been to KKN many times over the years and several times at Bob's units. Great location, nicely maintained property. Ideal for families and couples/singles. Beach is a gem and the pool is a nice touch. We'll continue to return as much as we can. Our deepest heartfelt and sincere condolences to the people of Maui for the recent tragic events.

Beautiful 1bdrm, 1bath with well appointed kitchen, handy beach supplies (umbrella, beach chairs, coolers)!! Conveniently located just steps away from a beautiful beach & great place to watch sunsets over the ocean!! Variety of good restaurants, deli, cafe, coffee shop, shopping (ABC store), & beach supply rentals (snorkelling equipment), & discount liquor store, are close too! Pool area has lots of lounge chairs & a shaded area …… lady who works in office was super friendly!
Robert made it easy for us to extend our stay 1 night, thankfully!!

Overall had a great time staying at this property. It had helpful amenities and was located in a spectacular area with the beach, stores, and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The floors were slightly dirty, but otherwise the space felt very well kept. This was a great home base for our time on Maui!

Bob’s property is outstanding. The attention to detail for each room was superb. The condo is light, bright and airy combined with an excellent view of the water at the park across the street. It has a comfy bed, great couch, well equipped kitchen, great shower. We settled nicely into a rhythm of morning swim, afternoon play and rest, sunset walk and sundowner. Veeeeeeery relaxing!

The apartment is just a few steps away from a beach with beautiful sunsets, restaurants, gifts shops, and other commerce.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was so well equipped that we felt like we were staying at home. Things like a beach umbrella, beach chairs, cookware, spices, ice, TV with Netflix... And the list goes on and on.

Booked last minute trip to Maui. Found this nice condo in Kihie. It's across the street from Kamaole II Beach and close to lots of shops and restaurants. The condo had a partial ocean view. It was clean and comfortable. Complex amenities include pool, one parking space and laundry room.

We loved the view of the ocean from the balcony! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and such and the bed was comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and there were plenty of bath and beach towels. The beach chairs and umbrella were very useful! The backpack cooler was handy as well! We enjoyed putting our feet up to watch TV in the living room. Wonderfully big and clean swimming pool. Easy to walk to multiple places to eat. The beach is great and never too crowded. Overall it was just fantastic!

Property was as advertised, across the street from a nice beach and several beach rental businesses, along with some good restaurants in walking distance (Moose's, Fred's) and a short drive to others. Must have Ululanis Shave Ice.
Two beach chairs provided, and plenty of cooking supplies. The sofa bed frame was uncomfortable, but we put the mattress on the floor, and got good sleep.
Bob, the manager, communicated adequately. The only thing I didn't expect was an additional charge of $280 for two friends who decided to join us about 10 days prior to our stay. (Another place we stayed this trip did not charge to add them.)

We were looking for a place to just hang on our last day as our other unit was booked and our flight left at midnight. Had great communication. Unit is exactly like the photos. You get a great view of the sun setting from your lanai also all beaches are super close to walk to and you have Moose McGillycuddy's (Best Lava flow) and Freds Mexican Cafè right beside you with great happy hours and fun events thru the week.

Where to begin… first of all, Kihei is incredible. The communication, professionalism & check-in couldn’t have been smoother - it was a great experience. Bob was amazing, very responsive and always willing to help with any questions. The home is nicely furnished and it has a terrific view.i It’s in a great location, just a short walk to the water. We’ll definitely stay here again in the future. Such a special place!
