We have vacationed in the Chelan/Manson area for more than 15 years. This house and location has been one of the best. Loved the wraparound porch and pool. Carol was a terrific host. We’d definitely return to this special place!

I have lost track of how many times we have stayed at this house with our family group of 11 or more. We just love this property with it's large house, location, wrap around deck, view, pool, rooms for everyone and how easy it is to work with Carol the owner. This is the vacation and the house that all our kids and grandkids look forward to every year. We will be back!

We are a group of a dozen women in our 60’s and 70’s who travel together in the NW US every year. This year we spent a week in Carol’s lovely Lake Chelan hillside home. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities. The house can easily accommodate large groups and would be particularly great for families. The pool was fabulous on hot afternoons and we enjoyed the cool morning walks into town and back up the hill. Chelan has so many things to do for both adults and kids! In addition to cooking and eating together, members of our group spent a day in Stehekin (1.5-hour boat ride each way), played golf and mini golf, shopped in town, went to the farmer’s market, visited a winery, para-sailed, and enjoyed several hikes.
Carol went the extra mile by communicating clearly and often. She answered all our questions and made sure everything was ready for us. We would recommend this home enthusiastically and would love to return.

Great house for 3 generation family vacation. Plastic plates and glasses would be good to have. The trees that line the driveway could use a trim so you don't hit them backing down with a boat and tower. Pool is awesome! Loved the wrap around porch! Cant wait to go back.

We have been going to Chelan for a decade, and this is the best house we have gone to! Lots of space, huge wrap around patio, private pool, great view, near golf course, near town and wineries. Just perfect

The house was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The covered wraparound deck was perfect on those hot days. We all had fun in the pool especially as it was shaded for part of the day. Everything was labeled so the house felt familiar. The books in the library were a hit with the grandkids. Sitting on the deck in the early morning, drinking coffee, and just staring at the lake was so relaxing. We were together, but everyone had space. We’ll definitely be back.

We were a family group of 10 that included grandparents and two sets of twins, ages 5 and 9. We were there for a week, a first visit. When you read all the other previous reviews, we would totally echo their perspectives. One thing that was particularly noticeable was the cleanliness of the expansive porch. There was not a spider's web to be found. Staying here was a great experience and we would like to come back!

We absolutely love this property! This was our 7th stay here at this property and it was just as enjoyable and comfortable as our first 6 times. The house is well furnished and comfortable in every room. The wrap around porch with amazing views and comfortable seating all around is one of our favorite features. Early morning coffee and late evening wine enjoying the view uplake from the porch lead to a gathering of family every day. The very clean and well maintained pool kept all the kids and adults busy and refreshed. The easy access to the lake, town and drive-in were all appreciated. The 12 of us really enjoyed our stay here. The property is quiet and the owner is attentive and so easy to work with. Of all the places we have stayed and homes we have rented for vacations, this is by far the favorite. No one wanted to leave and everyone is already looking forward to next year.

We enjoyed the week at Carol’s hilltop home with it’s unmatched view of the lake and town. Very convenient to all the activities our family loves about Lake Chelan yet very quiet and private.
Our one technical problem was handled promptly when asked.

Our family had a wonderful time celebrating our 50th anniversary! The house was very well appointed, kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Having the 2 refrigerators worked out perfectly!!

Our rental experience was smooth and clear from start to finish. Carol communicates regularly and makes sure all questions are answered. The home fit our three families of differing ages very well. The pool was clean and the temperature was perfect. While it was 100+ F every day, the AC kept the home cool enough for all to sleep comfortably. The home was also clean and well stocked. It is definitely a 'hideaway'. While it is a quick drive to town, because of the hillside location, it is not an easy walk or bike ride. This is not a problem, but it is nice to be aware of. Also, the checkout time is 10am so you need to be ready to get moving on your last day. :) We had a wonderful week and would love to return!

Perfect location and home
We travel to Chelan all the time, and this location is truly special. We were 2 families with 5 kids under 11, and we had a great time here with plenty of room. Location is great, tons of privacy, views from everywhere, and house is well stocked. We'll be back!

Wonderful house
This is our 2nd year staying at this property. The outside of the house and the private pool is absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed staying at the house. The house well stocked and enough space for all.

Outstanding Getaway
A very comfortable home with a great view in a quiet location. The house is very comfortable, well furnished with a clean warm fenced in pool. This was the 6th time our family (11 of us this time) has stayed at this amazing home. Carol the owner, is friendly, easy to talk with and very responsive to any questions or needs. There is plenty of seating in three different outdoor areas including a large table with a great view of the lake and surrounding hills. Inside there is comfortable seating in several areas along with a large dining table. Our family really enjoys this home and it's location. The kids would all like to move into this wonderful home and they all consider it their home away from home. We really love this quiet location and the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere surrounding it. Our stays both summer and fall have been amazing so next up may be a winter getaway. We plan to return again next summer.

We spent another great week at this house overlooking town and the lake. Lots of sleeping options for our family groups. Enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and the BBQ, as we ate most meals in.

Our family could not have found a better place to reunite after so long apart! Our group ranged ages 2 to 69, and everyone had what they needed. A few things made this a standout rental, better than we’ve ever stayed in:
- The beds were comfortable and sleeping spaces private enough to allow for naps or early kiddo wake ups without the whole family being impacted.
- We cooked all our meals at the house, and the kitchen was so well stocked and had ample dishes, pots, and counter space. The extra fridge and oven were amazing for a group our size. The only thing we didn’t find was a coffee grinder, but a quick trip to Safeway for coffee saved the day. Loved having groceries so close!!
- The pool was just as promised and perfect, but the lake is only a few minutes away with a very family friendly beach that we often had to ourselves early in the day. We loved having both options.
- A crazy heat storm kept temps above 110 for most of the days of our stay, but the powerhouse AC kept the house comfortable and the large covered porch gave shade any time of day. Everything has been thought of, even fans to help move air upstairs and shades on all the windows to block the sun on the hottest of days.
We couldn’t have asked for better. Thank you Carol for the effortless stay and all the memories!

Relaxing Respite
This place is awesome! From the moment you pull up and see the view and wraparound porch, you are hooked. Our family loves just sitting outside and looking at the view. The house is big enough to accommodate several families and still have plenty of room. There were 6 of us with a 7 week old infant. The downstairs bedroom/bathroom set up worked great for the parents/infant as they could get up in the middle of the night and not disturb anyone else. The kitchen is well-stocked and there was not one utensil/pan/spice we needed to bring with us. While the weather wasn't as warm as we wanted, the pool was a nice warm temperature and the hot tub was always inviting in the cooler temps. Carol was always very responsive and quick to help us out if we needed it. Look forward to more fun times at the Campbell house!
