Six adults stayed 2 nights at the property. It's a nice old house full of character. The 2 king bedrooms are lovely, one with en suite bath. The bunk room is a bit cramped and we could not find stairs for the upper bunk, (which we did not use). The room with the futon downstairs is a bit "public" but worked out OK. Our biggest disappointment was that the wood-burning stove was out of order. It would have made the house so much more cozy. The kitchen and living spaces were fine and well equipped. We liked the short distance to the Green and village. The only other problem was access via the driveway, which is steep and rather narrow. Unfortunately, the weather was very cold and wet and the hill and driveway were very slippery. It was a real problem but no one's fault but the wintery weather. We'd stay here again but would like the stove to be fixed! Thank you.

Great location and beautiful home! Pictures don't do it justice. I stayed here with a group of 6 girls and there was more than enough room for all of us. Walking distance to the Woodstock Inn and the shops downtown. Would definitely recommend this home!

Sarah and Ryan quickly and ably responded to issues that almost inevitably accompany checking into an unfamiliar property. In addition, the property was as advertised.

This was an unusual house for a VRBO. It seemed as though the owners had moved out for a week and we moved in. The refrigerator was full of old jars of condiments, the freezer was completely full of items, including several ice cream cartons whose lids were missing and whose contents had melted over the freezer's other contents. The refrigerator looked as though it hadn't been cleaned out in a long time. While the kitchen was very well-equipped, it had not been thoroughly cleaned. Some of the bedrooms had no curtains, and the morning sun woke us up at a very early hour. The queen bed in an upstairs bedroom creaked when its occupant moved, and we noticed that this condition had been reported in previous reviews of the property and obviously not fixed. Closets were full of items and were very messy. The hot water heater could not keep up with the demand of six people taking showers; once we ran out of water (after three showers), it took four hours for the hot water to return. When we contacted the owners about this situation, they were completely unresponsive. We also contacted VRBO and Home Away about this, and these agencies could not get responses from the owners either. The location was wonderful, but the overall conditions in the house were substandard, especially at the price we paid to rent the property for a week.

Cozy and convenient
Cozy house and convenient location to the green. Generally speaking, the house is clean and functional but some aspects of the house are a little tired. Yard is a little different now than in photos because of a large outdoor wood stove.

We had a super time staying in this home. It was spacious, comfy and very well equipped. As we were staying in October, we lit the fire and it was really cosy😊

We were in town for a wedding and were two couples and a young adult. The living spaces are very nice in this house with lots of good chairs / sofas and a lovely surrounding. The kitchen with very well stocked. All the bathrooms are updated and very nice. The master bedroom is comfortable but the bed in the second queen size room is extremely creaky when a person moves around. The kids room is just that...good for kids with bunk beds.
The only issue we had with the house was the that of cleanliness. All the bathrooms were apparently not clean when we arrived and the kitchen was quite grimy. The bathroom issues were immediately addressed by the owner (very responsive), but it wasn't the way we wanted to start our wedding weekend. All in all, a very nice house with issues that were addressed.

Fantastic location and a warm inviting home.
We recently packed our two children and dog for a last minute Woodstock getaway. This house couldn't have been more perfect. Casual and inviting and just a short walk to town. Our kids loved the bunk beds and despite all the wonderful restaurants in town we still chose to cook dinner, relax on the porch, and enjoy the firepit instead! A charming Woodstock home. A wonderful weekend retreat and a great place for any family.

This is a beautiful home and a great location in Woodstock !
We loved our stay here. The property is charming inside and out. Our family with 3 couples was comfortable and enjoyed the kitchen and common areas. We cooked one dinner and brought breakfast in one morning. The kitchen is well outfitted. We made a fire one night and enjoyed the coziness of the living room. (one of two! )
Our youngest couple took the bunk beds but we realized later that they could have used the pull to futon in the den and then would have had a bathroom to themselves. We wished this option had been made available. One adult had some concerns about cleanliness of the shower area and the kitchen, but the the rest of us were too overwhelmed with the home's charm to notice anything amiss.

Cozy home, great kitchen
Our group of four adults enjoyed our stay in this cozy home located close enough to walk into downtown Woodstock. The kitchen was great -- well stocked and easy to use. Recently renovated bathrooms were a plus. One downside -- the queen bed in the upstairs bdr creaked loudly with every toss or turn. We would recommend this house to a family or 2-4 adults looking to visit this lovely area of Vermont.

Delightful cottage in the heart of Woodstock
Four of us had a wonderful stay in Woodstock over Columbus Day weekend in this absolutely delightful cottage, full of charm and good vibes. Location-wise, it would be hard to ask for more, and we found everything we could possibly need for a long weekend stocked in the house. I would recommend to others and will certainly revisit myself!

Great house in perfect location
We enjoyed our stay here. It's a really short walk right into town. House is very spacious and generally well kept and well stocked. Wish we could have taken more advantage of some of the beautiful outdoor space. Sarah was extremely helpful and responsive leading up to the trip. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great place!!!!
This was a great house for our needs. Less than 10 minutes to town - walking. Fabulous for us (6) for a wedding at Woodstock inn as we were constantly coming and going. Although we used car as weather was raining on and off, couldnt have been better Ferns and gardens are great. Wish we could have had more time to investigate the area. The great Fire pit would have added to the ambiance but rain prevented it. not the fault of the house!!!! There was a protected porch area which we used most of the time. Didn't know there was a blow up bed which we would have used. Maybe we just missed it. Had all our family for weekend. Definite do😍

beautiful property, excellent hosts
This is our second winter staying at Sarah and Ryan's place. I can't say enough about the house - location is great (right off the green, walking distance to everything in town), house is beautifully kept, well appointed, and comfortable, and Sarah and Ryan are wonderful hosts. Would recommend their place to anyone!

Great house for a weekend getaway
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful 3 bedroom house on a quiet street in Woodstock. Location can't be beat. It's within a short walk to the Green with all cute shops, galleries and restaurants. Kitchen is fully provisioned with condiments, spices, pots and pans. Loved it! Thank you Sarah!

Great Family Vacation Spot
We enjoyed our week here with our son. The house is very family friendly and the fire kept us warm as it snowed outside. We enjoyed being able to walk right into town and easily cooked our Thanksgiving dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. We are sorry our week had to come to an end.
