The pictures are very accurate! Loved having the 2 car garage! Big plus! Definitely bring beach chairs. Easy walk to the beach. The porch was very enjoyable. Our family was very comfortable.
Working with Wrightsville Sands Realty staff, was great, they are very professional and wanted to make sure we had everything for our trip.

This is a review for the second floor unit. Pros: Great location with easy walk to the beach. Unit was generally clean and spacious. Check in/out process was easy, with good instructions. Parking also a plus and the exterior of the property is very nice. Cons: The property needs maintenance. There was significant mold in the main bathroom shower ceiling and grout. Mold was also noted in the 1/2 bathroom. The door knobs/locks on the doors are worn and difficult to maneuver. The fan control in one bedroom is clearly broken. Patio furniture very worn and not maintained (didn’t use due to this). Kitchen materials (pot/pans, etc.) also rather worn. Bedroom pillows need replacing. We have stayed in several 4 to 5 star vrbos previously and this was unfortunately not that. Some of these concerns I noticed were also mentioned in previous reports. I hope they are rectified for future renters.

This property is in a nice location and very pretty - you can walk to many shops and restaurants and beach is beautiful. All outside lights were not working when we arrived after dark but they did respond the next morning. They definitely need to take an inventory of kitchen stuff - only 4 spoons. Great for family and friends!

What a great 4 days! The house was just perfect. Large living space and deck. Comfy beds. Clean throughout. Detailed instructions. And the beach - absolutely gorgeous! Our daughter got married at nearby Wrightsville Manor and this house was just ideal.

We adored the front porch and all the accomodations of the house, especially having a W/D in unit. Third! Other reviews had mentioned the poor service you receive from the Realty Company. I must agree with their comments. Overall the property is as advertised, and very comfortable. The fan in one of the bedrooms does not work(or we could not figure it out), the master shower drain does not drain, and several of the lamps in the living room we could not work. I am not sure I would rent from this company again because they are 100 % unresponsive. And the fact it was "off season" is a poor excuse. There were very few wine glasses, and most plates and bowls are chipped. Bring your own sharp knife if that is important to you.

After dealing with five rental agencies and viewing 10 locations, we fortunately found Wrightsville Sands Realty Inc. Shannon found us a great place to stay and allowed us maximum flexibility. We wound up at “Beachcomer”and couldn’t be more pleased. The location was perfect, the unit was bright and cheery , clean and very well appointed. Shannon was an angel and we can’t thank her enough.

The house was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen includes everything needed if you want to cook some meals. If you prefer to eat out, several restaurants are within 5-minute walk. Beach is also only a few houses away (about 1 minute walk). We loved this house so much that when he checked out, we booked it for next year.

Our stay at the Beachcomber was great. The house is beautiful. We had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the porch. The breeze was great. Short walk to the beach and the bicycles were a big plus. We had planned to rent some when we arrived. We only encountered a few issues. #1 If you have kids, bring an extra sheet or two to cover the WHITE furniture in the living room. It is lovely but hard to keep clean with a 2 year old. #2 there were some issues with some breakers turning off. We had to call about the outdoor lights not working and the outlets in the bathroom and kitchen. They came right over and flipped the breakers. Might just want to be sure not to plug in too many things at one time. #3 the tile in the master bath could use a good scrubbing but that is a minor OCD issue of mine. Other than those small things, it was absolutely perfect for our family of 7. Will absolutely stay here again.

Great location, just steps away from the beach. In a bit of a dense neighborhood but noise was not a problem. Lots of space inside, plenty of bathrooms, cozy living room space, expansive open kitchen, and great outdoor porch with furniture, where we spent most of our time when not on the beach.
