About this house rental
Located in Bolivar Peninsula, this lovely house for $717 per night is a great choice for your next break. The Reserve is a non-smoking, no pets allowed and includes a whole house generator. There are frequent power outages at the beach during the summer. Don't let a power outage ruin your planned beach trip. Also, the new Bunkhouse Suite is now available. The bunkhouse suite measures approx. This area measures 450 sq.ft. and includes a full-bath, kitchenette, flat screen TV with Dish Network, queen bed and a full size bunk bed. The BASE rental price does NOT include the use of the bunkhouse. If your party is for 10 or fewer, then the main house is all you need. If you party has 11-14 individuals, then you must rent the bunkhouse. NO EXCEPTIONS. We do not allow blow-up mattresses or anyone to sleep on the furniture. Depending on the time of the reservation, the cost of the bunkhouse will add an additional $150-$400 per night to the rental cost of the home. Please note the bunkhouse is a en suite located on the mezzanine level of the The Reserve. While offering a great view of the beach and privacy from the main house, this area is designed for adults or teenage children. From the moment you arrive at the palm tree lined drive of The Reserve, you will come to understand this property is different from anything else offered for rent on the Bolivar Peninsula. The Reserve at Bolivar Beach is located on 3 private, gated beach front acres. Everything you need is included in the rental price. No hidden cost or fees. This Owner-Managed rental has 3,150 sq.ft. of air conditioning living space with an Elevator. The home also features a total of five decks. The mezzanine deck underneath the house features the new Bunkhouse and an outside bar. The home has six bedrooms and four-half baths. There are three Master Suites each with its own private bathroom. There is a master suite is on the first, second floor and the mezzanine floors facing the beach. Additionally, the house has three additional bedrooms. All but one of these face the beach. It should be noted that all bedrooms have water views. As The Reserve on Bolivar Beach is one of the tallest structures on the peninsula, the view from the upper level bedroom / sun deck is without equal. Located in every bedroom is a flat screen TV and ample storage space for your stay. The house contains a total of 4.5 baths. If being outside enjoying the gulf breeze or a sunset view is your idea of a good time, this house is for you. The home has a total of four beach facing decks with an additional sunset porch located on the front of the home with unrestricted sunset views over the peninsula and Galveston Bay. The home has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher) with a large island which accommodates seating for four adults. Just off the kitchen is a dinning area which also faces the beach. Dinning area accommodates six adults. Just off the dining area is the living room which has a gas burning fireplace and unrestricted beach views. The home has a large laundry room with washer and dryer. Everything you need is included with your rental of The Reserve. Linens, towels and your own gas powered golf car. Anyone stating at The Reserve has access to the private resort pool located across the street from the beach house. Please note all rates on this website are for vacation stays and no weddings or special events. Please inquire about the cost of The Reserve for weddings or special events. We do consider short term rentals (minimum of 2 nights), so please inquire if you have questions or require a quote. Please note The Reserve has Owner lock-off areas. The Reserve is designed for a total of 14 guest (adults + children) when the bunkhouse is rented. We are Owner / Managers and personally handle every check-in. Additional overnight or day guest to the property may be allowed WITH PRIOR CONSENT of the Owners. Please be very clear at the time of your reservation request on the number of guest (overnight and day visitors) that will be at the property. If additional guest are allowed, additional fee's may apply.

This was our second year to stay at The Reserve and we enjoyed every minute of it. The house is always so clean, and Marina and Oscar (the property managers) are beyond helpful and so so kind. We look forward to staying again soon.
My only suggestion would be to add an additional full-size refrigerator somewhere in the house. Navigating one full-size refrigerator (there is a mini fridge in the bunkhouse and another on the second floor) was tricky with that many people but we made it work.

Loved the house, even better than the pictures indicated. Kitchen wonderful for meal prep everything we need, beds comfortable, elevator a knee saver. The whole house generator was greatly appreciated when the power went off for 4 hours due to mandatory system maintenance on the peninsula. Beach access was very convenient. Golf cart a plus. 4yr old grandson loved playing with all the toddler toys in the closet. All the decks were fun to watch a storm rolling in.

My family and I chose this home for its size, view, and spacious acreage. Needless to say, it didn’t disappoint in the slightest. The owner was very informative, and accommodating to our needs. Check in/out was easy and painless and the property manager was extremely kind. We would and will gladly book this home again in the future and would highly recommend it for others.

Our children and grandchildren shared an amazing extended weekend with us at Crystal Beach. This home was the perfect place for family fun and relaxation…gorgeous home with so many extra amenities, numerous decks, incredible ocean views from every level, convenient access to quiet beach, and excellent owners and property managers who went out of their way to ensure a super stay! We highly recommend this property and plan to return in the future.

The only few complaints I would have is the entire week we stayed it was windy and hard to relax outside, not sure if it’s like this all the time but it would’ve been nice to have an area that had something to block the wind and hang outside. Also there is plenty of shells to find on the beach but bring water shoes!! It is almost unbearable to walk in the ocean!! The property itself was very clean and well stocked for our arrival. The elevator was very handy for several people in our group. The upstairs had a smart tv for 2 -11 year olds(they loved that) all the balconies and all the views are spectacular. The tiki bar is amazing, but as I mentioned unbearable because of the wind. Overall I would definitely recommend this property to any group size or age. It really

Perfect fit for our family of 12, and all of the balconies were great! Nice having the golf cart, as well as the Adirondack chairs, washer game & fire pit downstairs (although the fire pit has several holes in it & could get dangerous with really dry grass). Great location close to the beach, & enjoyed the use of the pool at RV Resort across the street. -Thanks!

The property was super nice and clean. Great location with easy beach access and not a super crowded area of beach. It had all of the amenities we needed and then some. Little perks like the availability of the golf cart were nice! Easy check in and check out.

This house is very well stocked house on the beach! We had 10 ladies 40-68 of age and this house jet all of our needs. One lady had just had surgery and was on a walker, the elevator and golf cart was very helpful!!! Plenty of beach supplies in case you forget yours. My only complaint is no trash pick up. You have to take your trash across the highway and put it in the dumpster!

First timers to Crystal Beach
The property was great. We had plenty of room and everything we needed was available. Even items for the beach that we didn’t bring. We did not get to enjoy the outside as much as we wanted because of the cooler temps and crazy wind! But we made the most of it and really enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the quietness of the house when we were inside. Even the construction noise next door was minimal. Thank you for a great experience!

Great views and great location!
Our family of 6 had a great time staying in this house! We didn’t use the way upstairs room bc of the narrow twisty stairs and how little our kids all are, but we didn’t need the extra space with only 6 of us.
Loved having use of the golf cart, and it was so nice not to have to buy shampoo, conditioner, body wash, foil, etc, as it was all provided.
Great views from just about everywhere in the house, and loved the quick walk to the beach!

It was great and we all enjoyed our stay. The house, property and access to the beach and pool were great! First time we’ve been able to have each family to stay comfortably without having some on fold out couches. Everyone was happy!

This was a 3 family vacation with grandparents who had never had a beach vacation. We had the best time here! The house is beautiful, well-stocked and very clean. We rented the bunk house with it so the young adult “kids” could have their own space and it worked out perfectly.
The beach was beautiful and very private. So unlike previous condo stays we’ve had where you have to get out early in the morning to have a spot on the beach. Lots of shells to pick up along the beach. The several decks around the house made sitting outside, listening to the waves so enjoyable and the outdoor furniture was very comfy too. The walk across the road to the pool was easy and the kids enjoyed having the pool option. The kitchen was very well stocked. We didn’t need a thing to make the majority of our meals there. There’s a grocery store nearby a cute little surf shop for beach supplies and souvenirs, and Galveston is just a ferry ride away for more touristy things to do. The house has plenty of beach games, sand toys and they will bring some extra chairs for the beach if asked. There was a BBQ grill and the golf cart was a great bonus! There are multiple TV’s with dish network on all of them. So after a day in the sun everyone can find a show to watch if needed.
Marina the manager was awesome. Anything we couldn’t find or needed she was right there to help us, and very friendly. Steve and his staff made our stay amazing and we will definitely book there again if we plan a trip in the area.

My brother and I rented this property for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. There were ten of us total, 6 adults and 4 kids. The main house had plenty of room for all of us. The elevator is an actual elevator and not just a lift. It was a wonderful amenity as we had a couple of family members that struggle with stairs. The outdoor living for this house is just amazing. There are decks on all levels with the mezzanine level having an outdoor bar. It was a nice place to enjoy the breeze and watch tv. Another special thing about this house is that you can get upstairs without being out in the elements. If it is raining, there are interior stairs, in addition to the elevator, that are protected from the rain. The house was exceptionally clean and the owner was quick to respond to any questions we had.
