Kalapana is truly “Privacy in Paradise” as the home is surrounded by 1.5 acres of lush tropical gardens and fruit trees, in the beautiful neighborhood of Launiupoko, Lahaina. This luxury home is fully air-conditioned and features an expansive 'great room' spilling onto an outdoor lanai with unobstructed views of our neighboring islands. The pool captures the same views and is surrounded with ample outdoor seating and chaise lounges. The elevated jacuzzi for 8 is a great place to start your day or catch the sunset. Adjacent to the pool area is an outdoor shower made private with lava rock construction and foliage.
The 'great room' separates the bedrooms for maximum privacy with a master bedroom suite in one wing and 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths in the other. Above the great room is a spacious loft with pool table, wet bar, and Eurolounger. The master bedroom features a dual walk-in shower and oversized tub.
The loft includes a complete ‘business center' with printer/scan/copy capabilities. Bring your laptop and share your experiences while staying in touch. We are also equipped with a SONOS music system.
The bedrooms are elegantly furnished with new Simmons Heavenly beds made famous in Starwood Hotels. There is a Heavenly California King bed in the master, Heavenly King and Heavenly Queen in the other 2 guest rooms.
Kalapana is at an elevation of 700 ft. and only 10 minutes from Lahaina . Total interior living space is over 3,500 sq. ft. plus a wrap-around lanai (terrace). Spacious walk in closets are featured in two of the bedrooms. There is an enclosed garage and fitness area which contains Powerblocks, yoga mats, stationary bike, and rowing machine. The neighborhood offers wonderful walking, hiking, and biking trails.
Kalapana is part of a farmstead and in addition to the gardens includes 2 organic fruit orchards. Guests are welcome to (and encouraged!) to pick the avocado, banana, orange, grapefruit, guava, tangerine, lemon, lime, starfruit, and much more. Start your day with fresh fruit straight from the garden.
The chef's kitchen is open to the great room and enjoys the same panoramic views. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and service for 12.
The lanai and lawn areas include a gas BBQ, several seating and lounge areas, and a large dining table set under a large pergola. The expansive lawn has a hammock for reading or napping, and is a great place for a game of croquette, bocce ball, or corn hole.
There are plenty of pool toys and beach gear for your use, including beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, pool loungers and beach towels. We also have children's toys, a high chair, and pack and play you're welcome to use.

The most amazing home for a magical vacation on Maui. Perfect for our family of 5. Well stocked and everything worked. The pool was a hit. We will miss waking up to the stunning view of the mountains and water. Thank you for sharing this incredible home with us.

Our stay in Maui was absolutely incredible. This home exceeded every expectation we had. The views of both the ocean and the mountains were breathtaking, and the sunsets we captured in photos honestly looked unreal. Every evening felt like a postcard.The property felt extremely safe, secure, and private, with plenty of parking for everyone in our group. The home itself was spacious, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described. We had six adults staying comfortably, and the upstairs futon worked perfectly as a fourth sleeping space.The loft pool table became our nightly gathering spot, and we loved all of the outdoor games including cornhole and croquet. The pool area was fantastic, and the home was stocked with plenty of pool towels, bathroom towels, and clean linens. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared.The owners truly thought of everything. We used the boogie boards, coolers, floaties, workout area, and laundry room throughout our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped and made cooking easy and enjoyable.One of our favorite parts of the property was the gorgeous yard and landscaping. Having our feet in the grass after spending time at the beach felt amazing. The tropical setting was beyond anything we expected.If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable, secure place for your family to stay in Maui, you have found it. The only thing missing for us was having my grandsons, daughter, and son-in-law there to enjoy it with us.

Almost everything looks better online than in person. This place was better than the listing! It was clean, modern, SO quiet and peaceful, private, functional, fun, relaxing, and so much more. Location was quiet yet convenient, amenities were plentiful and useful (beach chairs, beach wagon, umbrellas), and we had what was our best family vacation ever. Thank you, Maya, for sharing this beautiful slice of paradise with us!
