This was our 2nd stay in Union Pier at this property. It’s a great location and the house is a perfect fit for our family of 6. We particularly enjoy the large screened front porch. The back deck was a great place to watch a momma turkey and her babies. Many nice beaches are close by including Warren Dune State Park and the municipal beach in New Buffalo. This time of year(July) is a great time to buyfresh blueberries ! We hope to be back again next year!

Property was outstanding and exceeded expectations. The house was very clean, had an updated kitchen, and an amazing screened in porch. There was more than enough space for our family. Very comfortable outdoor space with new grill. Location was perfect and a short walk to the town. Matt was very responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend to any family. Thanks for a relaxing, fun, and memorable time away!

Matt’s home was the perfect place for our long weekend stay in Union Pier. Each bedroom was so comfortable, the two tv areas were perfect, and the front screen porch was just right for our breakfasts and for spending time together on our one rainy day. The home is ideal for families!!

We had a wonderful time in Union Pier, and the house was perfect for us! It’s adorable, and so clean and well stocked! Perfect location for walking to the bakery and market, and an easy enough walk to the beach. Matt was incredibly responsive, and very helpful. We’ve already rebooked for next year!

The home is so comfortable and cozy, great for hanging out with family and friends.
Kitchen has been remodeled and has new appliances with plenty of accessories.
Front and back porches where great places to play games and do puzzles.

Beautiful Home Close to Shops
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home and would highly recommend it. The house has been redone since the photos were taken and provided everything that we and our friends needed for our stay in Union Pier. The house is just a couple blocks from the shops, which was great, and while it is a little distance from the beach it is a super easy drive and there is ample parking at the beach. It would also be a great short bike ride. Matt was extremely responsive to any questions that we had and we would love to stay here again!

Annual Family Vacation
This house was wonderful. It was the best by far we’ve ever rented. We had 5 adults and 2 children. In addition to the four bedrooms, there were plenty of places to hang out. We particularly loved the huge screened in front porch. There are several beach areas close by, and we found 2 ice cream places we loved. Craig gave us good tips on family friendly restaurants.
We definitely will be back!!

Perfect place to stay!
The pictures do not do the house justice. It is bright, roomy and comfortable. Matt provided awesome details, suggestions and was easy to reach. We had 4 adults and 3 kids ages 13,14, & 16. I highly recommend this house and this part of Michigan.

Union Pier is almost exactly halfway between our family’s homes, so none of us had to drive more than 6 hours. The house is nicely furnished, well appointed, and actually had everything we needed. The screen porch was great for containing 2 toddlers. We enjoyed the area and would surely consider returning.

It would be helpful if listings could be a little more precise about location before final booking. We plan our vacation with another family every year and try to find listings near their location -- and it's not really possible to tell how close it is given how VRBO formats listing locations. This has nothing to do with this particular house or owner -- both were AWESOME and we loved the house. Just would have liked to have been a little closer to our friends staying at Gintaras resort.

Hummingbirds and Moonrise
We just got home from staying at the Good Life in Union Pier. This was the third year in a row that we have rented this home and it just keeps getting better and better! The outdoor space is my favorite with a giant screened in porch in the front for lazy afternoon games or cocktails, and the large deck off the back of the house where you can watch hummingbirds drink from the Rose of Sharon bush during the day or watch the moon rise over the trees in the evening.
The house is graciously decorated and fully equipped for fun. You will find nothing lacking in the kitchen for whatever you want to cook. We loved using the large grill on the back deck as well.
The owner, Matt, is very responsive and easy to work with. It is clear he wants his guests to enjoy their stay.
Union Pier is the perfect spot for family vacations and this house is right in the center of the action. The beach is a 15-20 minute walk or a quick drive. New Buffalo is just down the road as is Warren Dunes State Park. There is a sweet gelato shop just across the highway.
The Good Life is indeed that and we look forward to returning.

What a great place to stay!!! Went to a family reunion and stayed here with our family of seven. Plenty of room for all of us. We had a very relaxing time. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the place was just cozy and inviting. Matt is great to work with and we would definitely come back again if the need should arise. Good value as well!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The home is clean, quiet and conveniently located. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the equipment we needed, the beds are comfortable and the furniture is up-to-date. Our weather was mixed, but with the option of a screened front porch, pleasant deck and easy beach access, we were all set. Matt was pleasant, attentive and easy to contact. We highly recommend this property and hope to visit again.

Loved the house!
It is a great home. Plenty of room for our family of five adults and two children. The kitchen is so well stocked that all we have to bring is food. The home is very well taken care of.
