About this villa rental
Located in Indian Wells, this attractive villa for $94 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. A downstairs Legacy Villas studio with a king bed, mini-bar, fireplace, full bathroom and private patio will make your next stay in La Quinta comfortable and enjoyable. The bedroom opens to a private patio on a greenbelt towards the back of the Legacy Villas community. The bedroom provides ample living space with a closet, desk and chest of drawers. The mini-bar contains a mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Disposable utensils and dishware are located in a cabinet above the mini-bar. The bathroom has a shower and a separate soaking tub with adequate linens for use during your stay. The condo is a short-walk to the largest satellite pool and hot tub within the community. The studio can be combined with LV202 to create a spacious three bedroom villa (subject to availability). The vacation villa is located at Legacy Villas in La Quinta. Legacy Villas is a community of 280 resort condominiums and townhomes. The community is nestled in a mountain cove on the western side of La Quinta with views of the Santa Rosa and Chocolate mountains throughout the property. Enjoy 12 saltwater pools and hot tubs, a fitness center and a community clubhouse and barbeque. Legacy Villas is a gated community with 24 hour manned security. The community is a 5-10 minute walk to La Quinta Resort and only a short drive from Old Town La Quinta, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the Indio Polo Grounds and numerous other desert attractions. La Quinta is home to over 30 public and private golf courses. The PGA Tour's Humana Challenge is hosted at several of the city's courses each January. The BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament is hosted at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden every March; only a 10-15 minute drive from a majority of our properties in the city. Don't forget the Riverside County Fair and Date Festival in February, La Quinta Arts Festival in March and the Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals in April. The Coachella Valley is a wonderful destination for outdoor adventure in all seasons. This vacation villa is the perfect place for your next visit to the California desert! you stayed here very many times, and like always, everything was fantastic at Legacy villas. This unit is just steps away from one of the private pools and in a very quiet location. Loved it!

Our group had larger spaces with full kitchens which I think is necessary at legacy villas. We added this studio on at the last minute for an extra bed but used the kitchen/living spaces in larger units. It was perfect for a bed and shower close to the side pool and central to the main pool.

Overall the room was in great condition the only complaint that we had is the water pressure for the shower was pretty much nonexistent so trying to shampoo and rinse your hair was a little bit tricky- other than that everything seems to be in working order. The TV situation and getting that to work was also a little bit confusing however we did get it to work and managed OK it was close to our event and the location was great we would stay here again if we needed to

This was a lovely spot and I hope to come back to this location again but not this unit. I did not notice the lack of real plates or silverware, a knife, a can opener, etc. It is perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep and are gone most of the day but I would have liked a little more comfort and utensils. I have food issues and need to eat a certain way and that means I eat" in" a lot. Make my oatmeal based breakfast with lots of additions like a mashed banana. I make large salads with different chopped vegetables and protein of some kind. All harder to do with this minimalist kitchen. I ended up buying some dishes and silverware. I also borrowed a foam topper from my sister (local) since I have back and hip issues. Helped a lot. I should have paid more attention to the description and photos. All that said, it was a lovely development, very quiet and well maintained. The pools were great, lots of options, the gym worked well for me and had great hours. It is located an easy drive to almost all the spots I regularly hit on my visits. I truly am going to try to come back to this location.

Beautiful area
Condo small, needs upgrades. The tv is a tiny 30 inch. Condo lacks a barbecue grill as most of the surrounding Condo's provide. The development is gorgeous, clean safe. The pools and Jaccuzzi's are everywhere and awesome.

Great Festival Stay
We had a wonderful time staying at this property! The location is very convenient, the condo is clean and there are many pools to take your pick from. Things to note, this is a bottom floor condo so you can hear footsteps from the top floor and it is a VERY small kitchenette (no freezer) or oven.
We enjoyed our stay and would definately come back :)

I was a little disappointed with our overall experience. Granted it was a busy concert weekend. My initial contact, the guards at the gate, was an unpleasant experience. With no hello or welcome they were immediately were barking orders, making threats about speeds over 10 miles an hour with in the community, had me put on a bracelet right there at the gate in front of them while still sitting in my car behind the wheel then told me it was over a hundred dollar money order from the bank only fee if the bracelet was lost. Also absolutely no guest allowed to include my 70 year old grandmother who was shopping with me and we just wanted to drop off our bags in our room before lunch. As far as the room itself, small hotel room style room bathroom and bed. Felt like I was in a hotel room the entire time with the exception of the front entrance. I will say the positives were a quiet relaxing gated community with nice pool areas and the booking experience was responsive and helpful. Overall for the cost, not a lot of value for the money and a lot of unpleasant experiences with the gate staff which also included long waits to get into the community due to lines of other vehicles checking in and getting their license plate registered at the gat shack in front of you. If you like strict peaceful gated communities within the almost crimeless palm Desert this is for you, otherwise your money may be better spent at an Airbnb with a private pool on one of the golf courses near by which are also gated communities. The AIr conditioner is very loud and woke me up multiple times. The bathtub was incredible. I would have liked to have a small freezer for ice for cocktails. Overall a nice stay

This was our third stay in a unit at Legacy Villas and we enjoyed it fully. The unit was clean, comfortable, and in a quiet location close to a satellite pool and fountain. It was also close to the path which meanders around the resort along the mountain base. Great place for desert walks. Management was very helpful in answering questions about the TV and the fireplace was fixed promptly. The whole property is beautiful and very well maintained. There are fountains everywhere.

Caught unaware that we would be charged to our Visa a further $106.00 for Homealone fees that had never been discussed, we were not impressed. We stayed only 2 weeks and expected a much nicer room for the amount of funds we paid. The Legacy Villa community was overall a lovely area but our studio suite was disgusting. The bathroom drawers were filthy, dirty kleenix and garbage were found under the bed and the bedside table. Cobwebs above window and shattered lamp shades left little to be pleased with. This owner needs to seriously look at her place.

Everything was amazing, but the AC unit was extremely loud. We were woken up each time the AC went on. In addition, the air vents were blowing in our faces when sleeping. No matter how we moved the vents the air was still very strong.
