Located in Nags Head, this lovely house for $846 per night is a great option for your next vacation. SAND DOLLAR-Located RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE OCEAN Mile post 17.5 on the Beach Road - 8308 S. Old Oregon Inlet Rd., Nags Head, NC 27959 ***During the Coronavirus Health Scare, We have added steps to our cleaning process to make sure you are protected from the spread of infection. We want you to feel confident that you wonʼt catch any kind of bug – severe or otherwise – in our houses. ***** SAND DOLLAR- Tastefully decorated with fresh paint, updated fixtures, and new furniture. You'll feel right at home the minute you step inside! Sand Dollar has 4 bedrooms, two and half bathrooms and enough sleeping arrangements for up to 12 guests to spread out comfortably throughout an impressive 1,500 square feet of living space. There is a roll away bed that you can use if you have 13 guests. We just added an outside ping pong table! Sand Dollar is our most affordable. This makes it an ideal accommodation choice for a family or a group of close friends looking for the ultimate beach experience that won't break the bank! As you ascend to the top level, you will be pleased to find an open floor plan with SMART TV with DVD player and free WiFi. (There are also SMART TVs in the bedrooms.) The family room features Leather Reclining Chairs as well as Couch & Loveseat. Just added... the Coolest Coffee Table! It has Foosball built into it! A fully equipped kitchen make dinner time no problem. with Two (2) refrigerators, a Crockpot, Blender, Mixer, & Seafood Steamer pot, is all you need to keep your hungry family happy. Your dining table seats eight plus there are 4 stools for bar fare. This home features 3 relaxing decks, all of which include comfortable outdoor furniture. -The Upper Front Deck is large and offers views of the ocean. -The Upper Back Deck overlooks the pool and the Hatteras National Seashore Sanctuary. -If you are lucky enough to be staying in one of the two bedrooms on the front of the house, you can enjoy the evening breeze on your own private deck. Decently stocked but not very clean. Feet were black within 10 minutes of walking in house. Definitely needs TLC. Doors and walls marked up. Patches made in walls but not sanded down and painted. Very worn stairs and sticking doors. All the outdoor furniture was torn and worn. Nice location, got an early check in. As someone has stayed in the outer banks since a child this house was overpriced.

What a great cottage with all the trimmings. Kitchen is extremely well equipped with sharp knives and even cast iron frying pans! Beds are huge and very comfy with lots of pillows. And a GREAT location - easy 5 min. stroll to the wide beach. The area is also in a perfect less-busy location and in walking distance of the BEST restaurant on the island - Sam & Omies!

Great location
House met our expectations, location was great! One of the BEST equipped kitchens we have ever seen. Beach access was just a quick walk across the road and on the beach in a couple minutes. Pool was nice and clean and furniture was comfortable.

Unfortunately the house does need a few repairs from leaks in the past and there was a ceiling leak while we were there related to a rusted out air conditioner drip pan. The rental company did fix it right away and gave us some money back on our rental for the loss of sleep related to not being able to use that room for a night. Overall we had a good time and would recommend.

Great location, fully stocked kitchen with everything you’ll need and the pool was an added bonus. Mother Nature has taken over the private boardwalk and we had to use the public beach access. It has become one with the dune. Thankfully it wasn’t far but would have been easier with our little ones if it was usable.

So when we were all together, several had to sit on the dining room chairs. Most of the time, they just went outside and sat on the deck. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. The convenience of being nearer shopping/grocery facilities was also appreciated. Overall, we did enjoy our time and was thankful to have found a place to stay in the high demand for vacation homes!
