About this house rental
Nestled in Lake Geneva, this attractive house for $1,023 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This beautiful 1920's Federal style house has been completely remodeled for the sole purpose of ensuring the comfort of large gathering. We took down walls to create more open spaces and added bathrooms. Located on a corner lot, one block from Lake Geneva and 3-5 blocks from everything else you want to do-eating, shopping, boating, etc. this house is the perfect retreat for your family reunion or large group. Everything from the kitchenware to the luxury bedding is new and beautiful with a designers touch and great attention to detail. The private fenced backyard with screened 10x14 Gazebo has a comfy sitting area and lower lever deck for outdoor dining. A large weber grill is waiting for your favorite recipes. Inside the back door is a fully stocked chefs kitchen with triple ovens and antique workbench island. You will walk through a small butlers pantry to the formal dining room with 10ft. farmhouse table, seagrass chairs and monumental captains chairs. The living room has it all! Abundant seating, 65" Flat screen TV with expanded cable, antique pool table and windows, galore. The windows connect with the large wrap around 4 season porch that faces towards the lake. There are plenty of places to enjoy your morning coffee, evening glass of wine or maybe a game of foosball. The main floor can sleep up to 7 with 2 Queen bedrooms, one with private bath and one with a bathroom a few steps away and a twin/twin trundle bed on the porch. The porch has been completely outfitted with blinds for privacy and shade and ceiling fans for your comfort. Upstairs, there are 4 very large king bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. All the bedrooms have premium mattresses, gel pillows, and luxurious linens for a great night sleep. The Main house will sleep up to 15 people. For parties larger than 15 or if you just want to spread out, "The Barracks" is a separate building a few steps behind the main house. It is the perfect "escape" for the kids with sleeping for up to 8 in twins, a bathroom, TV and DVD. The last of the many attributes that make South Shore House an exceptional place for your Lake Geneva vacation is parking. We have private parking for up to 9 cars. If you have ever tried to find parking in Lake Geneva in the summer, you will understand how valuable that is. We brought two sides of families together from Wisconsin and Texas here over Christmas! We had an amazing time gathering, cooking, eating, talking, and playing games!! We even brought in an actor from the Murder Mystery Company and had our own little crime scene game. Perfect place for all of that. Very clean and very well stocked!! Great host.

Lovely area near the Lake. Nice property; dog friendly. Included many games, foosball, pool..Nice area for dining and game playing. Kitchen could use some updated non-stick skillets. Overall, generous accommodations.

We had a group of 7 adult couples in their late 40's, 2 teenagers, and a dog.
6 of the 7 rooms have on suite bathrooms. The detatched just a few steps away from the room. One room is a bunk beds room with a bathroom called the Barracks.
My wife and I made it work as our bedroom. Was kind of like having our own suite. A good place to get away or a great place for kids to stay.
People were amazed at how many bathrooms and extra spaces there were to talk, play games in the house, and places to lounge outside.
The pool table and foosball table were popular, and at the dining room table we fit 14 adults around for a game one night.
The kitchen is on the smaller side though we made it work for every meal. It has 3 ovens! Pretty much anything you need is there.
Communication was great throughout the process. We really appreciate Tisha's accommodations and hospitality for our group. Made things easier for us and more enjoyable for all.
Also, the location is very ideal. A short walk from the Lake and downtown, near the lake trail to walk further. There's even a miniture golf course nearby.
If our group were to gather again in Lake Geneva, I think we'd all agree we would be staying here again. Was a wonderful weekend with friends. Thank you Tisha!

Location was perfect and everything in the house was as advertised. Only complaint would be the water pressure in several of the bathrooms is non-existent.

We truly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty to do. Walking to town and the lake only took 10 minutes The house was clean and fully stocked. We would definitely recommend this place and visit again!!

The house itself was perfect with bathrooms attached to every room. Bunk house was perfect for the kids.
The house is on a busy street so if you’re a light sleeper you want a room toward the back of the house to minimize street noise. Air conditioner broke, but Tisha was responsive and fixed it quickly.
The location isn’t bad, but the public beach is a walk and costs $ per person so if your group wants easy, regular swimming it’s not ideal for that.
Overall a great house and responsive, communicative owner.

Our stay at South Shore cottage was prefect for our family that consisted of two 3 year old's and 9 adults and 1 88 pound boxer. There was plenty of space for all of us to gather as well as comfortably retreat to our bedrooms. It was 2 blocks from the lake and a few more to town. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were as beautiful as advertised. The dining and living rooms + porch were very accommodating to my large family and 3 little ones under 5! We loved the location and proximity to Lake Geneva. It’s a gorgeous area and the house served us well.
PS — the outside grounds are lovely and may be due for some trimming.

This was the first time our group of 7 women brought partners and children on our annual ladies weekend, and we couldn't have asked for a better house to be in. Plenty of space, a well-appointed kitchen, centrally located (my toddler loved the playground just down the street)...the whole process was smooth and easy, which made our weekend together so much fun.

This was our 1st extended family vacation. We had 6 adults and 6 kids (aged 4-12). The house was PERFECT! The rooms were big and comfy! Lots of bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The kids loved the back house with all the bunk beds. The patio was super comfy and welcoming for adult hang out after kids went to bed. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots/pans/plates, etc we needed.
We definitely would love to stay here again next year!!!

we loved the closeness to town, the open space in the home for the whole family to enjoy each other’s company, The pool table was a wonderful winter time asset as almost everyone in our family of 11 took turns playing pool. Seven my 12 year old granddaughter enjoyed playing with her dad and uncles. It was a fabulous together time for all 5 of my grown children and their spouses to enjoy time together as they they live in 4 different states.

Wonderful home and location. 2 blocks from the lake, the lake trail, and about 6. Blocks from town. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable rooms and beds. Great outdoor seating area. We used the barracks in the back and slept another 8 people. Clean, warm and convenient Tisha was super helpful!

I just spent the weekend here with 22 other women all family! It was a fabulous place. Plenty of room for all of us. Easy walk to downtown and the path around the lake. The house and barracks were exactly as we expected. Wonderful experience all around.
