We loved our stay at this beautiful home! It was beautifully decorated and very tastefully done!
The neighborhood was quiet and safe.
The backyard was perfect for our granddaughters to let out some energy!
Everything was very clean and tidy except the floors, which I told Gary about. He said he would check with his house cleaner.
A couple very minor cons were the bedroom doors squeaked and the main bathroom was small, but the pros by far outweighed the cons and we would highly recommend this property!

We had a great time staying in the Oceanside Retreat! It was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Very nice appliances and furnishings. The neighborhood was quiet and in a great location for our needs. We have never been to San Diego before and didn't really know what to expect, but we would stay here again without hesitation. Fantastic property and the host was great!

We spent our spring break in Cali visiting our son. The house was perfect in every way. It was clean and inviting with all needed accommodations. The price is reasonable given the area, number of people and current economy. Gary (owner) was super friendly and available for questions. He went above and beyond in offering advice on where to shop/purchase a car (which we helped our son buy one during our stay). The location is in a quiet neighborhood, close to Oceanside, the beach/pier. I'm sure we will be visiting California again and will look for this property again. Thank you Gary for all your help!! You are appreciated.

What an amazing find. Iām in awe of how well presented this property was because from the first sight it gave more than I couldāve hoped for. Upon entering the property, it was super fresh and amazingly clean. Iām not even exaggerating. It was also cozy for our whole family. Neighborhood was really quiet and everything was in working order and newly remodeled with beautiful decor. All the supplies we needed were already there. My only recommendation would be to have a full length body mirror, and because my family stays cold all the time, it wouldāve been nice to have more control over the thermostat. Gary was amazing and responded instantly to my question about the heat and fixed it instantly too. Donāt miss out on this hidden gem! 10/10 in my books and Iām picky!

Beautiful secured house. Very neatly kept. Gary is a great host, very prompt in answering questions. Stayed for 5 days . Nice neighborhood. Would love to visit again . Close to the beaches and Legoland.

We celebrated my sons 6th bday at Legoland with our family and the property was very close to everything. It was comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious. Cute backyard and kitchen is fully stocked. Please be mindful to bring seasoning items if cooking (including salt and pepper). Weād stay at the property again next time we visit the area. We were attending a wedding and it was spacious enough for our entire family! Gary was quick to respond to emails and is a fantastic host. Enough room for everyone and backyard looked great. It rained so we did not use. We will be back!!

Perfect place for a family of ten!
We really enjoyed our stay with this house in Oceanside! It's got all the amenities, plenty of room, clean, comfortable, and perfect! If we ever go back I would definitely rent this again! I highly recommend it!

Pristine house close to Oceanside
A group of soccer parents stayed here for a week during a soccer tournament and it was such a great spot. Impeccably clean and very well maintained. Enough space for everyone to be comfortable and a fun backyard to gather in. The neighborhood was meh but it was just a 5 min drive into Oceanside which was so perfect. Very nice VRBO house!!

A few things that would make the stay even better would be a gas firepit, corn hole boards and a more fully stocked kitchen with towels, pots, pans, sheet pans and maybe some cooking essentials (oil, salt/pepper). Excellent home!
Four of us stayed here for a work event on Camp Pendleton. Everything about our stay was great - location of the house was convenient for our work event and close to food/shops, communication with Gary was excellent, house itself is very well furnished and easy to park a large pickup truck in front of. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at Gary's place in Oceanside. Very close to Oceanside and Carlsbad. Perfect spot for our dudes getaway! (we needed to get away!) Everything was clean and recently renovated. Lot's of room. Great backyard with a grill! Washer & 2 Driers! - Thanks again Gary!.
