Situated in Williamstown, this lovely house for $719 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Feel at home in Williamstown in this Williams College legend! After housing generations of Williams students, Jake House has been lovingly restored to combine luxury, convenience and tradition. A 3-story Victorian located on the Williams College campus (we do have student neighbors on 3 sides during the academic year), in view of Spring Street, and a leisurely stroll to Weston Field, the Clark, the Taconic Golf Club, the Williamstown Theatre Festival and Commencement & Reunion festivities. MASS MoCA and Jiminy Peak are both a short drive away. Five bedrooms (4 queens, 1 king), each with en suite bath. Onota on the first floor is ideal for anyone with mobility issues and has a walk-in shower. On the second floor we have Blue Benn, Pine Cobble and Stone Hill (master bedroom w/king bed and a claw-footed tub with separate shower). Greylock is the entire third floor, a carpeted oversized loft ideal for a slumber party. Gourmet kitchen, large dining table for 10+, spacious living room, purple felted pool table, den with TV & wood fireplace, wifi, large front porch with swing, back deck, fully-fenced in back yard, driveway parking for up to 5 cars. Central AC. Perfect for groups and families, and pet-friendly (for a fee). Ideal for hosting private gatherings/celebrations (with permission and possibly additional fee). We do all we can to provide for a comfortable stay with more than just the basic necessities provided. And Venetia is the most responsive and helpful property manager who will streamline your stay, from initial reservation to departure. We hope you will create special memories at Jake! Please note: If your booking is eight months or more in the future, and your chosen reservation is unexpectedly named the date of a high demand local event, your price may go up and you will have right of first refusal to keep your dates.

Had a great time celebrating Christmas and husband’s birthday with adult children and dog! Everyone enjoyed having their own room and bathroom! Enjoyed MassMoca, the Clark and walks/hikes. Great dinner at Mezze.

My family’s New Year’s Eve celebration was amazing! The kitchen is well stocked and spacious. We loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom and the pool table/ living room area is so cozy. I also wanted to say that Venetia was a great host she always responded quickly to any question I had.

Perfect place for an extended family trip as each bedroom had its own bathroom, so everyone could have their own space and get ready at the same time. Walking distance from main street in town and so much to do in the area - art museums, Tanglewood, etc. Highly recommend!!

If I could purchase this home I would. SO beautiful, great location! Could not be any better. The front porch has a swing, so much fun. Very short walk to the town. I would stay here again!

Excellent location in walking distance to shops & restaurants. The house is huge! We enjoyed the en-suite bathrooms. Had fun playing pool & playing games at the large table in the dining room. Plenty of room for relaxing as well, inside & out. We would love to return!

We love the Jake house. Five en suite bedrooms. Great for big family or groups. And lots of gathering space very close to spring street and on the Williams Campus. We’ve had many fun weekends and family gatherings at Jake House!!

We were in Williamstown for a skating competition. Only have 1 complaint, there is 5 bedrooms, 1 game room and 2 sitting rooms with a total of 1 TV (which is in the smallest of 2 sitting rooms) and Roku was the only way to access the 1 TV. In other words no cable tv!!! All subscription based channels Other than that the house was great!

Our family really enjoyed this lovely home, within walking distance of Spring Street. Each bedroom having an en suite bathroom, is key, especially when traveling with grown children. We would definitely like to stay again. Venetia was wonderful to work with.

Stayed for two nights for off-cycle "graduation" ceremony recognition and it was perfect for our group. House is beautiful and centrally located, property manager was accommodating and easy with which to work and everything was seemless. Highly recommend.

This house was simply amazing!! So clean and accommodating. Everything from the kitchen supplies to the comfy mattresses . The great porch in front and the deck in back were so welcoming for the unseasonably warm weather for our daughters November wedding. The character of the house denoted warmth and friendly gatherings. Hostess was very pleasant and readily available when we needed her. Aside from the limited parking ( maybe owner could expand parking space to the back of the house a bit!?! ) and loud frat house street party on the eve of the wedding ( aahh, to be young once more! ) our stay at this Williamstown home was beyond perfect!!

This house is great. Lots of places to relax together. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms so good amount of privacy. Kitchen is really well equipped, plenty of additional cabinet space for our stuff. Everything worked and it was all clean. Super comfortable, really nice details and furnishings. Comfy beds and bedding.

This is a roomy and well-equipped house that works great for multiple adults all traveling separately. We really appreciated that each bedroom had its own on-suite bathroom. The kitchen had everything and was enjoyable to cook in. The location was also lovely; we enjoyed walking our dogs on the trails up the hill behind the art museum and we could walk easily to restaurants and shops.

Our family had a wonderful time at The Jake House!! It had every accommodation you could ask for. The private back yard was perfect for our dog. The location was incredible - in walking distance to Spring Street, the Williams Campus, and many local attractions. We were there for my brothers wedding and this home truly made our experience incredible. Venetia was very quick to respond to all of my questions - she is wonderful! Thank you for everything!

We continue to come back to this house year after year. It’s perfect for a large group with plenty of space. It’s in a perfect location, especially if you want to be near Williams College campus or the Williamstown Inn for a wedding. Looking forward to coming back!

Wonderful house with ideal location to walk everywhere on campus and on Spring Street (full of restaurants and stores). The Property Manager is amazing -- very professional, responsive and knowledgeable! The home owners have created a very warm, welcoming home with everything you could possibly need to have a comfortable stay! We give this house the highest rating possible! Truly excellent!!

This was a wonderful way to spend the holidays with friends and kids at Williams. Everything from initial booking to contact with property manager was seamless. The house is large, unusually stocked with everything you may need, and location cannot be beat. You are literally 2 minutes from Spring Street. Super clean and convenient. We stayed at this house for a ski weekend with friends. It was the perfect house for our needs - clean, spacious, a pool table to entertain the kids (and adults), walking distance to restaurants in Williamstown, and a short drive to the mtn! Venetia was incredibly responsive and it also has one of the best stocked kitchens for any rental I've stayed in. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic house had everything 2 families would need. Loved that each bedroom had its own bath. Older kids played pool non-stop and adults enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen preparing meals. A lovely, well-restored and well-equipped house near the center of Williamstown. It worked perfectly for our reunion of 10 old friends (3 couples, 4 singles). Only (small) complaints were that there was no firewood in the house, and that the nearby students were noisy late Saturday night. But still we'd be happy to do it again.

This was our second year staying at Jake House. Again it was perfect. My husband, 14-year-old daughter, and I ski so we headed to Jiminy Peak each day, less than 20-minute drive. My sister and her husband hike so they explore a few different trails in close proximity. My 4-year-old niece hit the slopes for the first time this year as well. This house was more than accommodating for our party of 8 and our mini golden doodle. We enjoyed going up to the main street to shops and Purple Pub for dinner. Venetia was readily available if we needed her although we did not as everything was provided. We look forward to staying here again! I would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at 81 Hoxsey. The house was extremely well appointed and comfortable we felt very at home there. The street was quiet and peaceful but also walking distance to cafes and shops. If we return to Williamstown and needed a large house we’ll stay again.

You can't get a better place to stay then here. If you are looking for a weekend at Williams with friends and family and want to be close to the action. Think no driving, easily accessible to lacrosse and football stadium, close to spring street. It has it all.
