Scott had wonderful communication before, during and after our stay. The location was perfect for us to get away. A little more remote with not as many places to eat/shop/visit, but with a decent drive we had good day trips to Plymouth, Boston, and Salem. The house was great with amazing views, and equipped with everything we needed during our visit. So great! Thank you for a spectacular stay, Scott!

This house is wonderful. Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. Each morning, we watched the sunrise over the ocean and counted seals in the bay. This will be a yearly destination.

Wonderful view, a gorgeous house with beautiful hardwood floors, tastefully decorated with a fireplace, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
It was peaceful and relaxing with the sound of the waves.
There were multiple restaurants with fresh, delicious seafood, some within walking distance.
We found this house a wonderful place to stay, whether stormy or sunny. A charming and welcoming community. We would recommend this place to anyone and we would love to stay here again.

This was a wonderful stay at a beautiful property with amazing views. Going to sleep to the sound of the waves was lovely. Scott was communicative and helpful. Only wish I could have stayed longer. We hope to stay here again.

Everything about this place was perfect for us! Sat & drank coffee while watching the ocean, went to sleep to the sound of the waves & saw the seals sunning on the rocks. Be sure to take binoculars. Super quaint little town away from all the hustle & bustle but close enough to drive anywhere you want to go. Visited Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod, Plymouth, Boston & Salem, ate way too much seafood & made some priceless family memories. Scott was fantastic & super responsive any time we had questions. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Stayed here with my husband and son. The views were amazing!! Close enough to everything that we wanted to do. This was the first vacation in a while that I wasn’t ready to go home. Definitely can’t wait to come back!!!

Loved this house. ..First, I'd like to say it was extremely clean. Very impressed. The town of Brant Rock is a little isolated, but I love that. Several restaurants are nearby (didn't try them, loved cooking in), and stores for food are not far. I love that there are interesting things to do within a 30 minute drive, and Boston is about an hour away. Excellent walks! Everything is comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Super nice appliances. Really enjoyed the fireplace, and just hanging out and enjoying the view, which is incredible. Saw a yellow moon. . .!!! And the last day there were 3 seals just hanging out sunning on the rocks at low tide. Bring binoculars. The stars were the most amazing I've seen anywhere. The only thing to know is that the bedrooms are small and there is a shared bathroom on the second floor. The other full bath is on the main floor. I definitely hope to visit this amazing home again. We spent a cold winter week in this cozy home. The fireplace came in very handy as storm blasted us with high winds and 14 degree temperatures. The sun rises over the ocean in the morning was absolutely amazing.
The location on this South Shore home is perfectly placed for day trips to Boston and all the historic country side of Plymouth County.
All the appliances are new and worked perfectly. The newly renovated home sits just feet away from the shore line where the kids spent hours of exploring the rocky ocean floor in low tide looking for treasures.
Scott was pleasure and always available for anything. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Hi Scott, I was pleasantly surprised upon entering your house in Brant Rock at what a lovely home you've made there for your guests. The house was spotlessly clean, nicely appointed and offered all the comforts of home . . . plus++++. Your location right on the ocean front didn't disappoint. I just happened to visit during a storm coming in from the North with super high tides (full moon), howling winds and rough pounding seas. It was a thrill. Once the storm passed, the surf and wind continued to be whipped up on the wild side. It was rugged stunning beauty at the dawning of each day with atmosphere, colors and reflections on the surf changing by the moment. I'm an artist and couldn't have asked for more.
The fact that, at this time of year, there is no water/beach access directly in front of your house was not a detraction for me at all. But for anyone coming to stay here with kids, it might be. However, there are plenty of beaches nearby if one is interested in beach walking. Duxbury Beach Park (open to the public) is a beautiful and safe beach that kids will love even in the winter. Marshfield Town Beaches are all open during the winter and accessible. Maybe there are temporary beach stickers available for town beaches during the summer for vacationers. (?) Something to check out.
Just a heads up for anyone with mobility issues. You'll have to be able to navigate 15 steps up to get into the house.
The Brant Rock Market is a short drive away. I liked the neighborhood vibe and the fact that they offer some locally crafted goods and have a deli where you can get sandwiches and the stuff to take out.
Within walking distance from the house is the Fairview Restaurant and just a bit further down the road are other "local" restaurants to check out.
Brant Rock has some interesting history to its name too, including The Brant Rock Tower and the The First Transatlantic Telephonic Transmission.
I'd recommend this place to friends in an instant.

Can't thank the Dixon Family enough for allowing us to stay at this beautiful home every year for Thanksgiving week. Everything you could ask for in a rental home with great space, furnishings, and an absolutely stunning sunrise over the ocean!!!

We had such a great time in Brant Rock. I didn't realize that it was a little sea side town when I booked the house so that was a nice surprise. The house is very clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked. The views of the ocean were amazing. We had breakfast a couple of times at the Brant Rock Hop which was delicious and their service was great. Communicating with Scott was easy and he was very helpful when I needed to contact him. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Scott !

This was our third stay, and the property was just as nice as the first time. The house is well stocked and super clean, the neighborhood is quiet and full of nice folks, and you can't beat watching seals playing, bottling, and sunning themselves right outside your windows. We love this place.

We had a very enjoyable visit! The house is fully stocked with kitchen items, towels, and bed linens. The eastern view of the ocean is amazing and it's relaxing to watch the tide come in and out over the rocks from the deck and large windows. Walk just two blocks to the lovely Fairview Inn restaurant - the clam chowder is excellent. The owner is friendly and very responsive.

The house is very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the view is beautiful, the sound of the ocean soothing and we even had the treat of seeing seals in the water and sunning on nearby rocks. We were looking for a place to take a break and catch our breath before the holidays and this was the perfect place to do it.

This property became our home for a week. It wasn't a place to stay. For our first trip out after the Covid year, it was a great and welcoming experience. Kitchen and living space were where we spent our time as a family; that's nice with teenagers who at home hide in their rooms. And we loved walking the neighborhood and spending time with the seals. If you are on the fence in regards to booking this property, do it. You won't be disappointed. We were quite pleased with the quaint charm this beach house has to offer. It's located in a quiet, beautiful community right on the ocean. The views were stunning on our morning walks. Scott was excellent to deal with. His instructions for our arrival/departure were very clearly communicated and he was expeditious in his responses. There were so many things on our itinerary that we were not able to do because of time constraints, but we'll be back. When we do, we'll be staying here again. Thank you Scott for an excellent experience.

The Dixon property in Brant Rock is exactly what we needed! Our son had surgery at Boston's Childrens Hospital and we had to stay in the area for a week for his post-op appointment. The scenery is incredible and the community is we qaint. There are several resturants in walking distance. We had a wonderful time walking, playing games, and just getting some quality family time. I would recomment this property to anyone! The owner is extremely kind and very accomodating.

Cozy and comfortable house that has been recently remodeled. They took advantage of the incredible views with windows all around the main living space and sliders from bedrooms to the outdoor deck. Kitchen was smallish but very well designed with newer appliances. Fun to cook while taking in the view. Walking distance to some wonderful restaurants. We had a terrific time in this clean and comfortable home and hope to return someday.

Amazing home, front row on the water. Comfortable beds, good facilities and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Our kids spent hours searches by for crabs in the rock pools right at our back door! We will be back, for sure! Thank you for such a wonderful stay 👍😃

Everything was clean, up to date, and cozy. Very convenient to all restaurants, beaches and historical attractions.
The nights were relaxing- sitting on the deck with the moon shining on the ocean, falling asleep with the waves crashing on the rocks. The mornings were delightful, having coffee on the same deck watching the fisherman out for their first catch of the day.
Our one complaint- the week was over too fast- hated to say goodbye to our "Home Away from Home!"

This home has been impeccably remodeled to retain the original cottage charm while incorporating every modern convenience. It is located in a quiet, friendly community – far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city to relax but close enough to go sightseeing. We loved the multitude of windows so the beautiful ocean view was visible from almost anywhere inside. The house was very clean, beds comfortable and the kitchen was lacking nothing. The owner was easy to work with and followed up after we checked in to make sure we found everything we needed and didn’t have any questions or concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this home to others.

We had a great time here during our recent stay. This house is immaculate and it is in the ideal location for where we wanted to be. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and the upper deck overlooking the ocean is the perfect place to relax. It appears that there have been recent renovations, and all of the furnishings and appliances are in great condition. Overall we had a great time here and hope to rent it again in the future.

My husband and I, along with my daughter, son-in-law, and 2 small grandchildren enjoyed staying in this lovely home with the ocean view and beautiful sunrises. It was so relaxing to fall asleep with the sound of the waves and to awaken with the same. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to prepare meals after a long day of sightseeing and we appreciated the fact that there was a high efficiency washer and dryer for our use. It was very clean and well maintained and we loved the fact that it had been updated with modern conveniences but still retained elements of the original building which only added to its charm. It is on a quite street surrounded by other period homes and all the neighbors were so friendly and helpful. I will recommend this home to others wishing to have a relaxing vacation. Perfect for families and a great value!

To go to sleep and wake up with the waves ebbing and flowing across the rocks with the gentle rhythm of the tides...to be snuggled up with loved ones in front of a roaring fire with the rain and wind lashing across the windows...to be so well located that wonderfully delicious restaurants surround you for breakfast, lunch and dinner, to be just a hop skip and a jump to Boston and Provincetown and the Cape villages...all in a beautifully maintained property we have fallen in love with...well, that's not so bad is it?
