It’s a good value for money, location was also great. However, the hotel itself is not lovely. Honestly, on my first day

Only the location. Nothing else

The lift glass was broken when i arrived. Internet was very weak at all. Breakfast wasn’t good, some staffs are impatient and don’t speak english. My bedding has so much hair!!! That was so gisgusting. Hallway is so dark

Good location. Good value for money.

During the check in process staff told me that my card has not been accepted by the card reader. I have used my card that morning and I was certain that it should work. I told them that then I will go to have lunch first and hopefully they will fix the card reader meantime. Miraculously the card reader started working. My impression was that they would prefer cash payment instead of the card payment and instead of telling this to me they tried this trick. The hotel is a bit old and partially renovated. The breakfast was cheap and basic.

A great base for walking around and taking pictures.

Great location in Ankara's Old City. Easy walk to many interesting places such as the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, Ankara Castle (actually an old fort on a rocky outcrop with an outstanding view), and several Roman ruins. Staff was very friendly. Free Turkish breakfasts.

It was a little noisy because of room renovations, but only during the day.

Am stat aproape 2 ore sa primim camera rezervata online. Mai bine stăteam la cort. Camera nu are nici un fel de vedere. Deschizi geamul și ai un zid în fata. Mic dejun nasol. Nu mi-a plăcut nimic.

Amazing hospitality and comfortable stay

The hotel is nice and comfortable but it was the staff that made my stay there truly special. Mehmet and the team were super friendly and went an extra mile to look after me (including rescuing me with çay and biscuits when I arrived hungry to find all restaurants in the area closed for the day!). There was no issue with leaving my bags at reception after check out too which was great.

The room smelled of cigarettes when I checked in.

Hygiene concerning

Customer service, they were trying to do everything they possibly could do with the means they had. Very friendly staff members.

Hygiene was a very big issue during our stay. Also the fact that it is allowed to smoke in the rooms. They did not had the basic facilities: seccade (prayer mat).

Stay away from this hotel if you are foreigner. The owner did not allow me to enter the room with my friend that I came to visit because he assumed she is a prostitute only because she happen to be Bulgarian living in Turkey

A good hotel in downtown Ankara

Great staff who are all helpful even though from what I understand only the owner speaks English. Do not be shy to use your perhaps limited or non existent turkish with the staff, they are very patient and easygoing. In fact I have stayed in Ankara several times and I would say that overall this is the best hotel staff in Ulus (downtown Ankara). The location is good for convenience. You have a busstop very close to the hotel which has a bus going to Kızılay. A little bit further from the hotel but still in walking distance you will find the Ulus metro station. There are all kinds of shops and cafés around the hotel and a grocery store (bim) right outside. If you are worried about safety or what kind of people and streets are in the area I would say it's really not that bad. Ulus and the downtown area in general can have some suspicous people and places that you might want to avoid so it's not unique to this specific location. If you are in Ankara for sightseeing or exploration I would definitely recommend this hotel. Price wise I would say that it's good but I would also like to say that it depends on which room you get. The room I ended up staying in was perfect for the price but the first room I got was really underwhelming. Honestly the reason I rate this hotel so highly is the staff who helped me the entire time and were willing to change the room for me and adjust my reservation. Some interesting things: 1.If you want cleaning you have to request it at the reception and give them the key to your room. 2. I got free turkish tea anytime I was sitting in the lobby (very nice). Overall I am satisfied with my stay, if you want friendly staff, central location in the capital of Turkey, and a good price, this is probably what you are looking for.

Breakfast is kind of underwhelming but it's not bad. It is definitely a turkish Breakfast no doubt but not much to choose from. If you think it's boring that it's the same thing every morning then I would just want to say that it is normal for hotels here. I am fine with the same Breakfast buffet every morning but I do wish they had fried potatoes (French fries). You might think that's a weird Breakfast food but in Turkey it's one of the most common breakfast items.

If search for a hotel with money value this the best. Free parking too, the staff very very nice , even they not speaking too much but they try , old hotel they start renovation , but they have the best terrace in all ankara
