Really nice clean and quiet place with pretty courtyard!

Very friendly and nice welcome by Eric, and great location with a very quiet and pretty courtyard! I think this is a really good choice compared to many other options.

Cozy, friendly beach guest house.

Nice neighborhood, comfy bed, friendly host, almost a full kitchen along with a huge private patio with fun lights at night. Having the guest house tucked in back, cameras and gate made me feel very safe. Street parking was pretty easy. Candy and water were a nice touch. All in all it felt very welcoming, cozy and safe. Good value.

Living room area was crowded with old and uncomfortable furniture. No room to actually sit and watch TV. Not too functional in terms of space planning. I reaarranged a couple things to make it work. I did not spend much time inside so it was fine. Don't expect a polished interior decor, it's very DIY on a dime.

Very good

Communication with host was great before and during my stay. The unit was comfortable and included all the necessities, comfortable bed, nice size bathroom and tiny kitchen. It suited my needs perfectly as I only really needed a place to sleep and it was close to the people I was visiting.

Would have been nice to have A/C. Two fans were provided, however, one of them was noisy, which made it a bit difficult to get to sleep.

Comfortable, safe and deliciously quiet. I absolutely loved my stay here. The family were super friendly and welcoming and the annex is slightly away from the house so you have total privacy. Great facilities and on a really easy bus route to Santa Monica beach (and other beaches) and a Whole Foods is just a short walk away from the accommodation for you to stock up the cute little kitchen. I do hope to return when I next come to LA. Thank you!

Quiet room with amenities.

Eric was super personable and helpful. The patio was fantastic. the bed was very comfortable. it really fit our needs to be close to the UCLA hospital. Being able to take surface streets to the beach was helpful to reduce stress from our situation.

The kitchen was a little small but adequate. would have been nice to have an inside table, but mostly we were able to use the patio. not having a closet was a little bit of a challenge, there was a rack for hanging clothes, however. Parking on the street was tight, but in a safe neighborhood.

We had the pleasure of meeting the owners who were absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend this.

Located in lovely neighborhood. Loved the courtyard and admired all the succulents the owners had planted all around giving a nice peaceful atmosphere.

Better lighting over mirror in bathroom.

Great host and area, basic place but has everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Property was clean and in a fantastic area, not far from Santa Monica beach and had everything we needed. The host was really friendly, had suggestions on what to see when we asked and clearly put in a lot of effort to make us feel comfortable and welcome.

Honestly can’t fault the place, had everything we needed.

Great location. it’s right under the flight path to the Santa Monica airport but i actually really liked that. not that noisy.

room was a little cramped but had everything I needed. It was warm out& it didn’t have air conditioning but one big fan & one small fan & i was okay.

The host Erick was very friendly and helpful.

There was a little kitchen in which we could make breakfast. The bathroom was very large with more than enough towels. The outside patio was lovely with lots of plants, seating, and lighting.

The patio table and seat covers could have been cleaner. We ate inside the house because of the bird poop on those items.

we likes our stay even though the place was cold and dusty. I was like someone cleaned that room long time ago. a side t

parking free, proximity to the places we wanted to visit, easy check in and check out. all we need in term of facilities

the dust that was in hiding places like corners of the room and the heater was not really heated the room. they need something bigger and also quieter.

Location was great.

This is a detached old garage converted into a guest house. It was cold at night and they did have an old space heater. Overall it was an old converted garage with no smoke alarm that we could see. Price for the area was good if you don’t mind staying in an old place. There was a small kitchenet outside of the room which we never used. Street parking is available.

Would definitely stay again.

It has everything you need in a private little home. I loved the outside set up and all the plants. It was cozy and had more than enough stuff to accommodate you. The host were very nice as well!

I felt very fortunate finding this cozy guest house, the cost was also affordable.

Cozy room was well equipped. Host made me feel welcome, the bed was comfortable and even had a full kitchen, quiet location was appreciated.

It was rather warm both evenings with no a/c. My son got the fan to work without noise on the second night,

Pleasant stay in Santa Monica

The property was in a nice quiet neighborhood not too far away from the beach or places to eat. The room was cozy, comfortable, and clean. Eric and family were very nice and very attentive. I would definitely visit again.

The kitchen was well-stocked to be able to cook however the stove only has one burner that you can use so it makes it harder to prepare a full meal, but at least baking was an option and heated up the room quite nicely. I would recommend owner provide a small heater during the winter months, it gets a little chilly. Overall I would recommend the stay.
