It is located at 117 Bob Street, just off of Alameda headed east from Saint Francis Dr. It is a beautiful newly renovated home with an easy walk to the Solana Center, Dog Park and 1 1/2 miles to the Plaza in the center of Santa Fe. The home has full house surround sound and custom blinds. The dining room seats four to six people quite comfortably for entertainment. The spacious kitchen has been updated with new cabinets, counter tops, refrigerator, stove and wine rack. There is radiant heat tile floors throughout the home. The master bedroom and bathroom are bright and spacious. The master bathroom comes with a jacuzzi tub, double vanity, tiled shower, skylight and a large walk in closet. The second bedroom can also be used as an office or tv room. The brand new couch doubles as a bed for those who need 2 bedrooms. It is keyed seperately and has a door for complete privacy from the rest of the house. It has a bright bathroom with a full tub, shower, sink and skylight. The back patio has a gas grill, a patio table and four chairs. It is landscaped all around. There are five parking spaces in the front of the home as well as drip irrigation.

Can't beat the location. Close to everything. Description was spot on so no surprises and when I called to say the ironing board was broken, owners delivered a new one immediately. Book it!

This was our second time staying at this home. It was just as wonderful as the first time. Between our two stays we have spent seven months there. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful yet still close to the plaza and restaurants. The owners, Kurt and Darlene are amazing. They were always available for any of our questions or needs. They have become our friends and hope we will be staying there again in the future.

We are building a home and needed an extended stay for us and our 2 dogs. This home suited our needs perfectly. There is a private, secure yard with grass for the dogs. This is not easy to come by. The neighborhood is quiet with plenty of parking for our truck and car in the driveway. The home is clean, spacious, cozy, and well appointed. The mature trees offer plenty of shade and the A/C kept the entire home cool in the summer months. The main bedroom is large with a nice Ensuite and walk-in closet. We used the second bedroom as a work-at-home office with great internet speed for daily Zoom calls. The kitchen has modern appliances, tons of storage, a spacious pantry, and there's a separate laundry room. We enjoy the close proximity to Santa Fe for all our needs, but daily use of the nearby river trail for walking/biking is a huge plus. We often walk to the Solana Center for coffee and groceries. Darlene and Kurt are super hosts and special people. They made us feel so welcome and are quick to respond if we need anything. We have been so comfortable living here. Highly Recommend!

My husband, small dog and I had a lovely stay at this property. It is a 5 minute drive to the Plaza, supermarket and a nice mall. Across the street is a park with tennis and a bike path. Owners were very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

We needed a place during the final stages of our home build in Santa Fe and Darlene’s and Kurt’s place fit the bill perfectly. Wonderful stay
This was our third stay in this very nice house. It's spacious and comfortable. The owners, Darlene and Kurt, are friendly and readily available if needed. The back yard with its grass is a big plus (our dog agrees). We prepared many meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and walked and bicycled frequently in the park that is a block away We hope to come back in the future.

Warm, quiet and ready to call home!
This is a very well appointed, artistically and comfortably decorated home. Obviously a source of pride for the owners. Clean and ready to settle in. From the cozy in-floor heating and the nice backyard and grill to the quiet neighborhood we were happy to call this home for more than six months while I was in town for work. The owners are super welcoming, available for questions and help. I wouldn't think twice about a return visit and recommend 117 Bob street to all.

Nice little house
We’re very grateful to Darlene and Kurt for letting us stay here with our pets and young son while we waited in escrow for our home purchase to close. We were very pleased to have an actual kitchen stocked with just about every amenity one could think of. They were gracious hosts and checked on us often via text and phone calls. The only thing we didn’t care for, the bed in the master bedroom. It was uncomfortable and small. (My husband is of Danish/German descent & is tall and broad). I would most definitely recommend any family or friends who might be coming to visit us in our new home to try and rent this house if they’re going to be there for at least 30 days. It’s a quiet neighborhood & centrally located, which is very nice. There are people who do drive really fast down this dead end street, so do be cautious when pulling out to leave. Otherwise, great house, great owners and we really appreciated staying here & all that was done for us.

Stellar location for shopping at the Co-op & walking the dog at the dog park!!!
Darlene and Kurt are lovely BEings. Responsive to us as we negotiated the terrain of buying a home in Santa Fe. They immediately came to repair the kitchen faucet. AND they even gave us bird seed when they became aware of our interest in birds. AND Kurt shared some of his vast knowledge of local birds.The house is comfortable. EVERY implement one can imagine is available in the kitchen for cooking daily as we did. The house is spacious with lovely light streaming in from the windows and glass front door. Walking up Bob Street reveals a few old original adobe homes and walking a very short block in the opposite direction one arrives at the river trail which is extensive in either direction. My husband and I, our dog Shasta too, highly recommend Casa De La Luz for a month or longer stay in Santa Fe!!

A Wonderful Summer
We thoroughly enjoyed the three months that we stayed here this summer, so much so that we’ve already reserved time next summer. The owners, Darlene and Kurt, are friendly (but not intrusive). The house is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The combined kitchen-dining-living room is light and airy, with its high ceiling, large windows, and skylights. We prepared many meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The queen bed in the bedroom is very comfortable. We (and our dog) found the very private back yard to be wonderful, with its trees, grassy area, hummingbirds, gas grill, and patio, where we frequently ate our meals. Bicentennial Park is a block away. We walked our dog there every day. The three-mile-long River Trail, which runs through the park, is nice for a longer walk, and we used it to bicycle toward the plaza area in one direction and to Frenchy’s field in the other direction.

Great place!
All I can say is the place is great! We spent three months there and it truly felt like home. It is in a great location. There is a park with tennis courts across the street. We bought bikes and it is a super mellow 10 min ride to the plaza along the river path. The house is open with tons of natural light. The kitchen is great for whipping up meals and has every cooking utensil you could ever need. But I think what we enjoyed most was sitting in the backyard barbecuing and relaxing.
The owners, Kurt and Darlene, are super people and huge animal lovers. They made sure we were comfortable and able to contact them at anytime if we needed anything. Thanks for letting us stay in your home.
