The White Birch Inn

We loved the White Birch Inn. The Inn is beautifully decorated, cozy and full of atmosphere. It's perfectly situated in the center of the town, which was perfect for wandering around the shops and dining in the restaurants. The wine and cheese hour in the afternoon was perfect for having a little break before dinner, and breakfast was delicious and plentiful - we had to take a to-go box for our gluten free muffins both days because we were too full to eat it then. Ms. Letty was extremely gracious and friendly - we adored her! We stayed in the Willow room and loved the willow branch bed and decor. We will definitely be back and would love to see the place all decorated up during the winter holidays!

The only thing that was a little uncomfortable was our pillow the first night, but when we mentioned it the next day we were given our choice of other pillow options so that's just a personal preference issue rather than a fault of the Inn. The AC in our room also seemed a little inconsistent during the night but it was also really hot outside during the day and humid, and an old building, so also not a major issue and more of a personal preference (we just like a consistent colder temperature at night). In no way would that deter us from going back again.

Loved pretty much everything! The food and bar were terrific, as were the staff! The decor is next-level! Cozy and charming don't even really begin to describe this place!

Kind of a nitpick really, but the gym area was kind of sparse, but wasn't a deal breaker for me. I would recommend just adding more "zen" decor and lighting to go along with the massage table and treadmill.

Breakfast and service were superb. I have recommend this property to others.

Our room was absolutely stunning. We had this gorgeous canopy king bed in front of a fireplace with a soaking tub with a wall of candles behind it. They made us feel like royalty and the happy hour and breakfast were phenomenal.

It is literally on a Main Street in Clayton so you can hear motorcycles or large trucks driving by. They do provide a sound machine in your room and that will definitely help..
