About this house rental
Situated in Saint George Island, this lovely house for $600 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Stardust Villa is our family vacation home in the private, gated community called "The Plantation on St George Island" (west end of St George Island). This 1st tier property is a (3) bed, (3) bath, 2200 square foot home with private pool, outdoor shower, and is on the bike path. We are only 100 steps from the beach with easy boardwalk access! Our property is situated on a large, private lot surrounded with more than 15 palm trees, oak trees, and natural vegetation. We have one of the best VRBO rental home ratings on SGI…please read our reviews! Our home has high-end stainless-steel appliances, Samsung steam washer and dryer, leather couch, Pottery Barn and West Elm furniture, Kohler bath fixtures, as well as luxury mattresses, linens, and towels. You will love the easy-care tile floors throughout the home and the new hardwood wood flooring upstairs. Stardust Villa offers sweeping Gulf views from every room of the house. Our home can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. The kitchen is a cook's kitchen stocked with a Cuisinart drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, Cuisinart toaster oven and toaster, Ninja blender, Crockpot, hand mixer, Viking cookware, pottery serveware, a wide assortment of barware, glassware, Orca insulated tumblers, (2) complete sets of dishes, high-end knives, etc. Enjoy beautiful views of the Gulf from the kitchen! The dining room table comfortably seats (8) and there is additional kitchen counter bar seating. The house has (3) bedrooms, each with ensuite bath: * 1st floor bedroom with KING bed, ensuite bath, walk-in closet, outdoor deck * 1st floor bedroom with (2) TWIN beds, ensuite bath, walk-in closet, outdoor deck (NOTE: TWIN BEDS CAN CONVERT TO A KING WITH ADVANCE NOTICE) * 2nd floor bedroom with (2) QUEEN beds, ensuite bath -All bathrooms have hair dryers and tub/shower combinations. -A portable crib fits perfectly in the large walk-in closets (no crib provided). -A 4th outdoor shower is beneath our home for showering after a sandy day at the beach or pool. Our home has a very private pool that can be heated upon request (additional charge). In the pool area there are (5) Polywood lounge chairs, Sunbrella lounge chair cushions, (2) large Galtech pool umbrellas, and a picnic table. Beneath the house there is a Weber Performer charcoal grill, an outdoor fish cleaning table, an enclosed outdoor shower, and comfortable patio seating. Each of the upper two decks has a picnic table and the pool area also has a picnic table. We provide (5) aluminum beach bikes, Tommy Bahama / Nautica backpacking & reclining beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach bags, a beach cart, (2) inflatable pool rafts, boogie boards, a cooler, and an assortment of water toys. (8) beach towels are provided for trips to the pool or beach. We also provide (4) LCD TVs with ROKU devices and HULU Live streaming service (use ROKU to access your own streaming services), a DVD player, stereo, IPOD docks, high speed wireless internet access (Mediacom), and direct phone line for complimentary local/long distance calling. In the spacious laundry room you will find tennis rackets, pickle ball rackets, beach toys, beach bags, bike tools/pump, assorted bike helmets, iron/drying rack/ironing board, etc. There is a large antique chest in the great room filled with more than 20 board games, puzzles, and card games for a rainy day. Enjoy a good read from our library of more than 200 books...a book for any age! We are on a barrier island and in the event of a power outage there is emergency lighting in the kitchen as well as flashlights, candles, medical kit, etc. Three separate HVAC units provide zoned heating and cooling to our home. As our guests, you have access to The Plantation's (2) large community pools, tennis and pickleball courts, a workout room, Clubhouse, bayside kayak launch, etc. Towels, sheets, and all linens are hot water sanitized. No Pets & No Smoking allowed.

Wonderful experience staying a week at Stardust Villa. First, location is great with a nice view of the ocean even though it isn't "ocean front". The pool is perfect. Access to the beach is very close. The property and area are not crowded at all - no issue finding a spot at the beach close to the access path. The property has everything you need, including multiples (chairs, umbrellas, binoculars, games, beach towels etc.); it feels like it is their house and they are letting you use it for a week. You name it, they have it. Best part - the owners are accommodating, generous and flexible. Due to a family emergency we were in, out, then back in and they were very understanding. Thanks Jim & Ann!

Our stay at the Stardust Villa was amazing. As many others have said, this place has it all. We brought way too much stuff that we didn't need as Jim and Ann have this property WELL stock with what you need for a great time on the beach. We had 4 adults and 3 children under 11 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The views are amazing and the neighborhood is quiet except for the new construction going on across and down the street, which was quite bearable. Definitely a great place for a vacation.

The reviews are true - this place is a true treasure. What you see in the pictures is what you get and I would argue the views are better than the pics show:). When everyone says this place has it all…this place has it all and we are a family with two toddlers who require a lot of stuff for life and for the beach. We brought more than we needed and when we return and we absolutely will return…our load will be much lightened because of how well equipped the house and beach supplies are. We swam in the pool and the Gulf, we watched dolphins, we biked, we grilled, we showered outdoors. An easy walk to the beach…even loaded down with supplies and children. A week filled with memories that will last a lifetime. And Jim is a true gem - easy going, laid back, attentive, informative. Couldn’t ask for a better stay and host. This was our third year as a family to enjoy Stardust Villa. The vacation home had everything to make our week perfect. The weather, ocean, Super Moon on July 3, dolphins daily were highlights. Our family rode the bikes multiple times daily. Jim and Ann are wonderful host. A perfect stay!

This place is great! Had a couple unforeseen things happen and the owner responded very fast. Had it straightened out in no time. House had everything you need, from beach towels to sand toys. Very short walk to the beach. Private pool is fantastic! Love the area and will definitely be coming back to the Stardust Villa

Jim and Ann are wonderful hosts. Their house is perfect very close to the beach and has absolutely everything you need to keep your stay comfortable. Truthfully, you only need to bring clothes and stop at the grocery store. They have Absolutely everything else that you need. Definitely a perfect beach house to stay on the island.

My husband and I stayed at Stardust Villa back in 2014 before we had kids. Everything we loved about our stay then; a house that had the needed comforts and then some, proximity to the beach and the views, private pool, bikes & bike path, beach & pool items and peaceful neighborhood were still as we remembered with some improvements. This time with our young kiddos our experience was different, a bit more hectic, but the house was still perfect! There is enough room for everyone to have their own space when needed as well as gather together. One of my favorites was the very useful outdoor shower with HOT WATER! Both kids thought it was cool to shower outside which was nice to take care of the sand before entering the house, We can't wait to visit again!!!

Our first time stay on SGI. We absolutely loved the property and our stay here! The house is stocked to stay in and cook all meals with every utensil, every cleaning item you might need, toys for the pool and everything needed for the beach. The house was clean, nicely furnished, plush towels and comfortable beds.
We all had plenty of space to spread out and have a blast. The beach is a short block walk to a gorgeous white sandy beach! We loved the outdoor shower too.
Jim has thought of everything, BEST VRBO we have ever stayed! Would like to return, we loved the quiet, laid back vibe!

Pack your suitcase and stop at the grocery store, this house has the rest! Clean, fully equipped with utensils, games, beach gear, bikes. The pool is a bonus! We enjoyed bike rides to the community pool too! The view can’t be beat.

This house was amazing! It was everything we needed, wanted and more! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was amazing, it had all the utensils, pans, appliances, and dinnerware that anyone could want. The laundry room had lots of beach bags and other useful items as well as rackets and pickleball paddles. Lots of games and books for those rainy days as well. The pool was wonderful. We had six adults and had plenty of room for all of us. The beach is a nice little walk from the house and is beautiful. When we got to the house there was a lovely welcome gift waiting for us. We enjoyed it very much. Hopefully we will be able to take advantage of this fantastic house in the future!

Loved the privacy and the short walk to the ocean was very easy for the adults and 6 year old. The wine and beautiful sun hat was such a nice gift that made us feel so welcome. The master bed was great but the other beds were a bit firm for me but that's just my personal preference. We saw dolphins one morning and just had a wonderful time every day. There were three generations of us and we all loved it and hope to return to this house next year.

Absolutely perfect
We had three generations and there was everything we needed and more. The house is very well equipped and goes beyond what you would expect in a high end rental. The pool was a great place to wind down a busy day at the beach. Can’t say enough about the length they have gone to in making it a home away from home. Don’t hesitate. It is better than the pictures and the beach is stunning.

This is a lovely home. It is fully equipped so you don't need to bring any beach/pool gear with you.... they have it all! The closets in the downstairs bedrooms are big enough for a pack-and-play so our baby had a quiet dark little room and was able to get good sleep even if the rest of us were still up. The upstairs bedroom is a loft with 2 queens so lots of room but no real privacy.... which was still fine for our needs. The pool is a great size for kids to play. Huge living room, lots of windows. We had a wonderful week!

There was so much available to use from picnic bags, beach gear and the bikes were the best! This is in a gated community and is just incredible. The private pool was relaxing. We walked or biked to the white sandy beaches each day. The island has yummy restaurants and stores to go to. We spent a whole day reading and relaxing while a tropical storm came through. What a great trip!

The owner was incredibly friendly and prompt in his communication...they did a great job of making the whole experience completely seamless and easy. The house was immaculate and a well maintained. Wow! We are heading home and are all sad to leave this wonderful slice of heaven. Where to start…the location is perfect! With views of the gulf, short walk to a very quiet and clean beach and lots of trails in the surrounding community, we couldn’t ask for more. We were there as first time St. George Island visitors as our son is stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base. We wanted something less congested but with things to do. We found it! We spent our time at the beach by the house, in the private pool out back and venturing to town to eat, ride wave runners and utilize the more active beach life. We saw and swam with wild dolphins right off the beach close by! We vacation a lot to FL and this was by far the most dolphins we’ve encountered.
The house had everything and more! One of the most equipped houses for cooking, lounging and tons of beach chairs and toys! Loved not having to bring beach towels, beach chairs, etc… You have really thought of it all and it shows! Comfy beds, lots of space and more!
