Well stocked comfortable home in good location for exploring Willamette Valley and taking a day trip to the coast. There was a problem with the AC and the property management responded right away to our request to address it.

We met friends in Portland and drove to this house for a long weekend touring wineries and state parks in Oregon. We felt home immediately and the house was spotless. The beds were so comfortable with plenty of pillows. We spent time in the beautifully landscaped backyard and went for walks in the neighborhood, including to 2 wineries and several restaurants. The Roost was perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at The Roost. The home was exactly as listed and fully stocked with the necessities as well as several “extras “. One of the main things I look for is comfortable seating for everyone in the family room and this place had it. We did not cook but the kitchen appeared to have everything needed to cook a meal and cookware was in good condition. The backyard was beautiful and we spent much of our down time on the deck. Dundee was a great little town and close to everything we planned this trip. There were several places within walking distance to grab food, wine and beer. Great place!

Great family rental!
The rental process was very easy and my communication received quick responses. The contactless check in was very convenient. We had 3 adults and one child in our party and the house was a good size for all. The yard is very nice and fenced in and the home is very conveniently located in Dundee.

Family reunion
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dundee. We were attending a reunion with family in Newberg, just two miles away. The Roost was a perfect place for one of our communal meals. The kitchen was well stocked and the house big enough for all five members of our immediate family. Thank you Roost for a wonderful time.

We spent 3 days here in Oct & had perfect weather. Location is perfect for wineries we wanted to visit. Several tasting rooms & restaurants withing walking distance. House is very comfortable in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Good quality sheets & towels & "starter" soaps, shampoo & conditioner. Kitchen is well stocked. Beautifully landscaped front & back yards. Nice deck, and firepit on back patio. Highly recommend.

Perfect place to spend Thanksgiving!
We loved The Roost! It was the perfect place to spend a long Thanksgiving weekend for our family of 6. The Roost was decorated beautifully in such rich warm tones. It felt like "Thanksgiving" the second we opened the door. The Roost was very clean and very well equipped. We found everything we needed to make an exceptional Thanksgiving meal. The bedrooms were spacious, comfy and very nicely decorated. The backyard was lovely and the adult kids enjoyed a game of flag football. Dundee was a great location as we were able to easily explore the wine country, the coast and downtown Portland.

We stayed in this house while spending 3 days in The Willamette Valley. It was a great central location for us. There are so many great places to stop that were within walking distance. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our group of 5.

Nice rental for Willamette Valley
We enjoyed our stay at the Roost. The property is in a good location to get to Carlton, McMinnville, Newberg, and/or Dundee. The home is comfortable and clean. The one reason I did not give it five stars is because the air conditioning unit is on a timer. When we would get back in the evenings the home was sweltering hot and it took hours to cool it down. The bed in the master bedroom is quite high off of the ground making it uncomfortable to get in and out of. Overall this is a good rental and I would recommend it.

Perfect for our girls weekend away!
This home was GREAT! Me and my girls had a great time exploring Dundee-- we could walk everywhere! Debbie, our host, was accommodating and wonderful! They left us really nice coffee, cream, and wonderful goat cheese/crackers to get us started :) The home was very comfortable and the backyard was perfect!

Cute and cozy
House was cute and cozy. The only complaint was that it's not soundproof. Those who went to bed at 9 pm could hear tv, conversations, etc like they were in the same room. That said, we'd totally rent again next year.
