WHY STAY IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD? Safety, No Crime! Chalmette is in St. Bernard Parish (County). Chalmette has a superior law enforcement that does not tolerate crime. When you stay in Chalmette, you can go enjoy all of the fun things that New Orleans has to offer, but you return to sleep in Chalmette without any worries of someone breaking into your house or car. Also, you can safely walk the streets at night in this neighborhood. Don't take a chance. Have a crime free vacation by staying at this house!
This is a 2 bedroom townhouse, with a TV, full kitchen, washer / dryer and WiFi. Both bedrooms have king beds. There is a full bath upstairs with a tub/shower and a 1/2 bath down stairs. The kitchen is complete with chairs and table, oven, stove, microwave, coffee pot, plates, glasses, flatware, cookware, and refrigerator. Outside is a covered patio set with chairs and table.
This is a very safe neighborhood. One block away is a shopping center with a supermarket, post office, and some restaurants.

Early check-ins are available at $30 per each hour prior to 4:00 p.m.
Late check-outs are free if available.

There were a lot of things that needed to be updated and repairs made but it sure served our purpose. We had a wonderful time!

The overall place wasn’t horrible. It’s pretty much what you see from the photos in the listing. Slightly dirty pillows and weird sewer smell coming from the living room. Oh well. The only real issue I had was that this listing was 30 strong minutes from the French Quarter, not super close by my measures.
