About this house rental
Nestled in Saint George Island, this charming house for $597 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Lazy Daze is a spacious renovated beach home with many amenities and wonderful views. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a large living room area, a bright spacious dining room and well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and new appliances. The master bedroom has a king bed and an attached bathroom with walk in shower. The 2nd bedroom has a king bed, and the 3rd bedroom has a queen bed. There are 2 sleeper chairs for the young guests. The 2nd bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The main living area has an open floor plan. The kitchen has many pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, serving pieces and small appliances such as crock pot, mixer, food processor, waffle iron, popcorn maker, griddle and more. There is both a Keurig and drip coffee maker. The house is well-maintained with many amenities. To enjoy the view, there are large windows in each room to let in ample light as well as the fabulous views. Lazy Daze has 4 flat screen TVs with cable channels, blue ray DVD and streaming. There is Wi-Fi throughout the house. The multi-plex arcade game will keep everyone entertained for hours! Lazy Daze features a private inground swimming pool with plenty of comfortable seating around the pool. In the game room under the house there is a hot tub, pool table, foosball table, hammock, a hot and cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning sink, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach towels and more! The back yard is fenced in with access to both decks and game room. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy a meal al fresco or relax while enjoying the views of the Gulf. Just cross the street and you are on one of the world's most beautiful beaches. There is a beach access right across from the house or a public boardwalk 3 houses down. The house is on 1/3 acre with an empty lot next to it offering you plenty of space and privacy! Lazy Daze is an amazing vacation location for you and your family. Swim with the dolphins, fish, or just recline on the white, sugary sand. When you're done with the beach, enjoy the outdoor hot/cold shower and prepare the day's catch on the park-style charcoal grill. Then enjoy a dip in the private pool, a soak in the hot tub or one of 50 video games! At night, enjoy a show from the deck as you watch the stars as they light up the sky! Make some wonderful memories at Lazy Daze! We are pet friendly! Up to 2 any-size dogs (no other types of pets please) can stay at the house at a time (pet stay will apply – 15% of all pay stays are donated to the Franklin County Humane Society). We provide a large indoor dog crate for your four-legged family members! The fenced yard is perfect for dogs. It has access from the decks (and the decks have gates as well). Please bring covers if your dog sits on furniture. Our guests receive discounts on golf cart, kayak, paddle board etc. rentals - depending on availability and season. Plus, for guests staying up to 21 days, we provide a credit from VayK Gear! We offer competitive rates. Our calendars are up to date and open 355 days in advance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was better than the pictures. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. The best part was the view of the ocean from the house and the easy quick access to the beach. Literally steps away. We loved it and highly recommend staying at any of Tom and Lucinda's properties. They are wonderful hosts.

We enjoyed our stay with friends and family and our dog. The location can't be beat, and even though we had some chilly and rainy weather, the kids still loved to play games under the house — pool & foosball — and use the hot tub. On a clear night the deck views are amazing for stargazing. The house is very dog-friendly and we appreciated the gates and fences. Wish the pool was heated — the only drawback!

The house was great with plenty of space, bedrooms were large and with all the provided amenities and games you really only need to bring food and drinks. Great view of the ocean from the deck and only a couple minute walk to the beach.
We would highly recommend this house and we will be renting it again in the future.

The property was very convenient for having a dog. The gates were on the decks, the area fenced in for the dogs, and the crate for the dogs was very convenient. The view from the decks was pretty.
The property smelled inside and out. They had a large ash tray on the front deck that I had to cover with two trash bags to even be able to sit on the porch without the horrible smell. Also one downstairs that we moved while we were there to not smell it.
There were several cracked floor tiles. One was broken very bad in front of the refrigerator to the point of possibly cutting your foot.
The property seemed clean, it was just in need of updating. Both the home and the furniture.

Inside is a little older than appeared in pictures. Having more consistency flooring throughout would make it look much nicer. Overall we were very satisfied with the location and property and would definitely look at other properties owned by the same couple. Owners were very nice and very thorough. It made for a great family vacation with adult kids and a grand baby. Being dog friendly for our dogs was very nice!

We had a perfect spring break stay at Lazy Daze. The property has everything we needed. We cooked in most days because of Covid concerns and were able to make wonderful meals with all of the kitchen items available. The deck space has a gorgeous view of the ocean and is a great spot for outdoor dining in the sunshine or reading and relaxing to the sounds of the ocean. The pool deck is perfect. And the space under the house with the hot tub, hammock and game tables also got some use when we needed a break from the sun. The beds were comfortable and the house is in good condition. If I were to change anything I would maybe update the doors as they are kind of banged up, but that is completely cosmetic, did not impact our stay one little bit and I really only even mention it because some people want to know about those things but they made no difference to us. The owners checked on us and we just had a really wonderful week. We will definitely stay here again!
