Located in Mission Beach, this lovely condo for $213 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Come and enjoy sunny San Diego in this freshly remodeled beach vacation rental. Stroll to the beach with your surfboard, run along the boardwalk, or bike around Sail Bay. Verona By The Sea is a 4-unit condo complex with 2 studios and two 2 bedroom units. This unique property is conveniently located close to local dinning, shopping, bars, nightlife, mission bay, and the ocean. Pacific/Mission Beach is 500 feet away from the condos and Mission Bay is 100 feet away! This is a newly renovated ground level studio. It was remodeled down to the studs and thoughtfully redesigned with beach living in mind. The kitchen is fully stocked, there is a new flat screen TV with 'smart' technology and wifi. The studio was designed to maximize space with a custom built queen sized murphy-bed and custom couch with full sized sleeper sofa. The queen bed comfortably fits 2 adults and the sleeper sofa is ideal for up to 2 young children to accommodate a maximum of 4 individuals. There is a common courtyard patio shared by guests staying at the condos that offers bay views and is a perfect spot for grilling and sunbathing. A hot tub accommodates up to 7 and is the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. Steps away from the condo in the evenings you can view the fireworks from Sea World. This is our 2nd time staying here and we absolutely love it. Steps from the beautiful Mission Bay and then on the other side of the road is Mission beach. You really can’t beat this location. Highly recommend :-)

Veronica’s studio was in the perfect location to explore Pacific Beach. The studio is well equipped with a small kitchen, murphy bed and pull out sofa. The outdoor table and chairs were a plus. It was a little tight with three people, but we didn’t spend much time in the room. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This place is amazing ! Literally steps from the water . Beautifully decorated . Just as described . We had the best vacation ever ! We could have used a little air but realized nobody uses air in San Diego . Thank you for sharing your place :)

For the most part, the studio was very clean and updated. There is no AC which I assume is common in San Diego but, even with the windows open, this place still got warm. The host did supply a stand up fan to help which was nice. The bathroom could use some updating as the tub was pretty worn. The murphy bed is a nice feature as you can put it up when you're not using it to give more space. We wanted to use the hot tub but it was really dirty (heaps of sand on the seats). It was like that our entire 4 day stay so we never got to enjoy it. The location of the place is fantastic with both the beach and the bay very close. Its walkable to so many places. The parking spot is a nice perk too since parking in the area can be difficult. I did have to contact the host once before the stay and once during and both times the communication was lacking but in the end it all worked out. We'd be open to staying here again.

Very clean and nice location. The couch comes out to a bed. Very cute. Has a hot tub that is shared with only a couple other housing. The covered garage was helpful as well.

The Check in process was very simple. The location was amazing. Feet from Mission Bay and Mission beach was across the street. Restaurants, stores, and rental places within walking distance. Would love to stay here again!

The property was perfect, it had everything we needed and more. Perfect for our little family of 4. Steps away from the bay and short walk to the beach. Big outdoor patio and the hot tub was an amazing way to end the day. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband, and I and our 16-year old daughter stayed here for a week. The condo is bright and clean and well decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked. The location is excellent! It’s a hop, skip, and a jump to both the bay and the beach. The bay is quieter for your morning coffee and a book. The beach is active with lots of waves, surfers, and people watching. You get your pick! It was a nice walk along the boardwalk to Belmont Park with lots of restaurants around to choose from.

This is a pretty apartment conveniently located in a village-like beach community in a vibrant metropolitan area. The small group of apartments has a graceful, uniform appearance from the exterior, where it is graced with a small front yard with small patches of grass, pavement, and a small deck containing a nice-sized hot tub. Inside, the apartment is well-appointed with new appliances, counters, couch, bathroom fixtures, etc. The ensemble gave me a relaxing place to settle at the end of the day, and to re-energize me at the start of the day.
Of note, the narrow patio and yard area, surrounded by a fence, is unique in the neighborhood. When I was there, a small family with 2 young children was staying in one of the accompanying apartments, and it struck me that this property is a great place for very young children because they can play outdoors, on grass, within the fenced patio area. If the parents want to relax in the hot tub or dine at the patio table, the children still have their little adventure area!

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit felt very homey and we could walk to the bay and ocean. We made great use of the hot tub and outdoor space as well. Would rent again without hesitation.

This place is a hidden gem beach on one side boardwalk on the other close to everything parking on site This was our 3rd time to San Diego and by far this was the best location. You won't be disappointed in this lovely studio

I stayed at this property for two weeks in August. The location to the bay and ocean is hard to beat: just a stroll. And thank goodness for the parking spot! Fireworks can be seen from SeaWorld on the bay side. This studio is located in a neighborhood with full time residents which is quite nice. The studio was perfect for just me; a Murphy bed and sofa and comfortable kitchen. I didn’t use the laundry which is coin operated and the bbq was too dirty for me to use. The apartment does get quite warm even for August: there is a fan which I used constantly. Veronica was a kind and attentive owner. Thank you for the accommodations.

We knew the place before. It is very nicely remodeled now and extremly clean. Studio has everything needed. Location is perfect, cose to everything, but secluded and quet.

Clean but update matress and linens and pillows
This property is located in a great area of Mission Beach. The property is clean and the owners are very attentive and take great pride in their 4 plex. I was impressed by the exterior as pride of ownership is evident. Our apartment was an efficiency unit so I expected a small space and that was fine. The unit was clean and the kitchen was nice. My only complaint is that they need to replace the mattress on both rollouts as they aren't comfortable at all. Also, they need to provide new linens for these beds as the ones that were provided were really old. Finally, the pillows for the beds also need to be replaced as the ones they provided weren't comfortable at all. Even though the beds are rollouts you can still have a nice mattress and bed set up.
On a positive note the jacuzzi is great and the gas bby works. Finally right outside the unit is a nice patio table that has a nice shade umbrella so that you can enjoy a meal out side.

Absolutely amazing stay at a beautiful very well kept, well maintained “beachy” place. Love the entire vibe! Veronica & her husband were wonderful, and we will certainly return. Great location, walking distance to so much, overall it simply exceeded our expectations, the layout, decor, amenities available all of it did not go unnoticed. Thank you!!

Our 9 day stay was lovely as it was the perfect location for our activities - playing tennis, biking, hiking, swimming etc. We appreciated the availability of the beach chairs to use at both the bay and the ocean while we also thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked as were the beach towels, linens, pillows etc. The other guests above us were friendly while the tenant next door to us was helpful and kind. All in all, we would recommend this beautiful beach apartment.

Beautiful Pace
Our 9 day stay was lovely as it was the perfect location for our activities - playing tennis, biking, hiking, swimming etc.

The 1 block walk to Mission Bay paddle boarding and 2 block walk to the beach are short blocks.The property was well kept and up to date. The shared outside area is where we spent most of our time, and room was ample for all units. There is no air conditioning, so the fans are a must during hotter months. We placed the box-type fans in the windows at night to draw in the cool outside air as windows are only on one of the four walls, thus no natural air flow. The fans make it tolerable, but if you can't sleep with heat, avoid the summer months.The unit is best for two people, but you can use the pull out couch for a third person. You will experience the "bar in back" syndrome just like on Seinfeld, but this is not the owner's fault, just a product of the typical pull out couch. We used an air mattress instead.Walkways abound between all homes in the area, which means you will meet all types of people. Most are extremely friendly! That said, DO NOT leave any clothing items outside as there is a high probability they will not be there in the morning. I stupidly left our rash guards and my bathing suit outside overnight to dry and they were gone in the morning. Wonderful Accomodations in the Perfect Location
Verona By The Sea #814 was exactly as pictured/described in the VRBO listing, with the exception of the AMAZING upgrades the owner (Veronica) has done to the exterior of the property! The pictures of the common outdoor area don't do this property justice! I was lucky enough to meet Veronica in person during our stay. I could immediately tell that she takes great pride in her property and ensuring her guests have the most pleasurable experience possible.
The studio condo was well kept, clean, and came fully equipped with everything we needed to make our stay absolutely perfect. The interior décor immediately makes you feel welcome, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed to make ourselves right at home (fully stocked). The murphy bed allowed us to have plenty of space when we weren't sleeping, and we found the mattress and linens to be very comfortable. The built in closet is quite large with a TON of storage, plenty of hangers, and shelving. The bathroom was equipped with a variety of plush towels, ample storage, great water pressure, and plenty of hot water. We were a bit concerned about the condo not having A/C, but there is so much open airflow that we never found the interior temperature to be an issue. However, there were fans on hand had we needed them.
The outdoor shared common area has several seating areas to relax, dine or just soak in the salt air. The gas grill and hot tub are great bonus amenities; although we did not have the opportunity to use the hot tub.
Let's talk about location, location, location! It does not get any better than this if you want to stay in the heart of Mission/Pacific Beach! We were 50 steps to the sand on the bay side and a block away to the sand on the beach side. We were able to walk/bike/scooter to all of our favorite bars and restaurants in the area. We ventured to a few of our favorite places in La Jolla, which was a short car ride and we took a 15 min Uber to Downtown SD for dinner at Born and Raised (highly recommend).
We can't wait to have another vacation and stay at this awesome property!
