About this house rental

Located in Yosemite Park Way, this attractive house for $684 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room that has a wood-burning stove fireplace, TV/DVD and Satellite. On the same ground level are 2 bedrooms, with a queen bed in each, a bathroom and a laundry room. The double sliding doors in the front open to the deck which holds your own private four adult capacity hot tub. On the upper level there is one large bedroom with one queen bed and one full size bed, and a bathroom with a stall shower. There is no WiFi at this property however it is adjacent to the Scenic Wonders business center, please note that satellite WiFi in the area is unreliable for video streaming and video calling and in a business setting will only be good for email and other light web based communication. This cabin is easily accessible with only two steps to the front door. It is pet-friendly with a pet fee of $50 per pet, per day. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, nor bedding, nor left unattended. There are 3 parking spots all year, sometimes 2 over winter months. Do you have internet access at any of your home properties? Yes but very limited! Only a few of our home properties have recently been able to receive Internet access. Due to our remote location, and the fact that most of our properties are surrounded by tall Yosemite pine and cedar trees, it makes it almost impossible to receive clear satellite signals, the cable isn't available yet in our community. The system we currently have is a satellite-based Internet system and is vulnerable to adverse weather conditions, therefore we cannot guarantee Internet connectivity during your stay.

My family greatly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. We took advantage of the hot tub and wood burning fireplace. We sledded in the canyon down the street and enjoyed skiing at Badger Pass. The leather chairs were very comfy coupled with high ceiling and live-edge dining table gave the cabin a luxurious feel. We would stay again but this cabin is a little out of our typical price range.

Easy check in, great communication with the property managers. Everything as listed, nice location close to the Valley, Badger Pass. Plenty of sheets, towels, blankets. We had 4 children ages 1-11, two families; worked perfectly. Warm in the winter. There’s no internet FYI, which is listed.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Yosemite West is about 15 minutes from the Tunnel which leads to the most awesome view of Yosemite Valley & Bridal Veil Falls, and it was fun to hike the granite boulders just before the tunnel for awesome views of another waterfall whose name escapes me. Bridal Veil Falls is on the way to Yosemite Valley from there, and it's a quick stop and walk to the misty falls alongside a beautiful creek. This is a shady place for a snack or lunch, and just minutes away you find yourself driving alongside the beautiful Merced River and in front of El Capitan. The elevation of the home is higher than the valley floor, so be prepared for snow in winter and spring, and carry chains. The home is equipped for sleeping with 2 bedrooms downstairs, both with queen beds plus a sofa sleeper in the living room and a full bath downstairs. The wood burning stove HEATS the house, almost too much! Upstairs there is another bathroom and bedroom with both queen and double beds, good sized room. There is a loft that is big enough for sleeping bags for 4 kids if need be. The down side: There is nowhere to sit. There are plenty of places to sleep for everyone, but in the evening after long hikes and a warm dinner, there is one sofa and one chair. People cannot hang out together because they either have to sit on the floor or in hard wooden dining chairs. SUGGESTION: Put the sofa sleeper in the loft and get a sectional that will accommodate more people. Bring the loft chairs downstairs as well. Our only complaint was nowhere to sit in the living space. The cabin is basic, nothing fancy, but it's clean, has towels and washer/dryer, and plenty of stations on dish to veg out after long days of hiking...not to mention the very clean and hot hot tub! We enjoyed our stay very much!
